Wolt gave a shudder and reached for his brandy. He wondered if it was really okay to drink, and took a cautionary sip.
"All of this indecency is disturbing... Master Pit, maybe you shouldn't drink that."

Jolly stared at Wolt blankly. "...it's just alcohol," he replied, taken aback.
"Meh. Oh well." Pit took a drink. "I ordered a non-alcoholic in case you were too, Wolt... didn't want you to feel left out. Guess it doesn't matter, though."
"Oh, how thoughtful!" Jolly pinching his cheeks at the adorable-ness.

Rim stared at Jolly for a few seconds. "Why did Emma hire you?" He asked finally. "You seem more like the type of person who'd hang out with Hamson..."
"YOU FOOL!"
All at once, the candles in the tavern were blown out. The sky outside was darkned by an unseen force of unmistakable intent. The sounds of fierce wind howled outside like angry spirits. Aust had run downstairs upon hearing Hamson's name spoken.
"That's three times today you've said his name! He's coming!"

There was no time to explain, as the screaming winds blew the door to the tavern open. The wind died down as a short, plump shadow appeared in the doorway. Many screamed at the figure in horror; other merely killed themselves before he could do something. The light suddenly returned to the room and everyone could see his happy, ruddy face; the face of a Halfling.
"HELLO!" Hamson exclaimed joyfully. He ran up to the bar cheerfully. Everyone backed away in terror. Noticing Pit and Wolt, he beamed at them happily. "HELLO!" It was like nails on a chalkboard when he was right next to you. "I'm Hamson! OOH!" Without so much as asking, Hamson grabbed Pit's drink and chugged it down.

"Oh, yup! That was great fun!" Hamson exclaimed. He didn't seem to notice that the bar's patrons had fleed in terror. He stared at Jolly blankly for five minutes before suddenly turning to Pit and screaming:
"OH! HEY! My name is Hamson Tealeaf, of the Halflings! Wanna see me dance?!"

Wolt stared agape for a moment, then busied himself with his brandy.
"Oh Elimine," he muttered detachedly into his drink. "I do not need something like this right now. The brandy's supposed to help this." His head vaguely felt like it was going to split.

"Um..." Pit blanked, staring at the halfing. "...no, that's ok..."
"Go right ahead!" Jolly cried out, turning on the jukebox. "I haven't had a good shanty in a while!"

Hamson's mouth hung open in glee while Aust wondered just what the hell a juke box was and why they had one. With a single jump, the halfling landed on the bar. "Okay... let's see if I remember how to-- NOW!"
What followed was the most spastic, not-actually-a-dance dance to ever be seen by mortal eyes. Hamson swung his legs with reckless disregard for glasses, plates, or the collective groins of those who weren't lucky enough to escape. Running up to one man, he kicked him in the shin and then stomped on his face-- seemingly oblivious to what he was doing.

"WEEEEEEEE!" Absolutely delighted and equally oblivious, Jolly joined Hamson in his destructive dance while Pit watched in disbelief.
"...what in Palutena's name...?!"

Hamson laughed as he saw Jolly join him and happily danced up to him. With great spirit, he picked up a nearby barstool and smashed it against Jolly's knees. Once again, his laughing face seemed not to know what he was doing.

"HOLY...!" Pit jumped back as Jolly collapsed on the counter with bloody kneecaps.
"...teehee..." Jolly chuckled dizzily, having hit his head on the counter. "...are we... having fun yet?"
