The Wizard glared at Darknite irritably. "Very well. You leave me no choice." Watt's body fell to the ground, unconscious. In a flash of blue light, the Wizard appeared behind Darknite. "You'll have to forgive my tardiness; I wasn't in the right time-frame. Now, then, Mr. Darknite..."
The Wizard fired a PSI Blast at the villain, launching him backwards.

"Grrr... You'll pay for that..." Darknite growled, then fired a blast of shadowy flames at the Wizard.

A shield surrounded the Wizard's body, protecting him. "My psychic powers are a bit more advanced than the typical Psychonaut." He explained as the shield disappeared. "Not that your attacks would do much good if they could hit me."

The Wizard sighed. "Delusions of grandeur, I suppose. I'm getting tired of this; I think I'll leave you with a little reminder of what's just happened." The Wizard put his fingers to his shrouded temples and focused on Darknite's mind. He began twisting the villain's mind, creating as much pain as he could without killing.

The Wizard chuckled. "A body is useless without a powerful mind to guide it." He pointed out. "I am pure psychic energy, Mr. Darknite. I have no need for a useless heap of flesh like a body."

The mastermind sighed. "I have to admit that you're getting annoying. It might be better to simply kill you here and now then leave you to worsen the world."
