Ruby giggled softly. Squall sighed and then smiled softly before turning around and walking out of the cafe.

"I don't know," Squall said and felt something under his foot before he stepped down. He bent down and picked it up. Examining the ruby ring slowly, he smiled and turned back around before walking over to Ruby and handing it down to her.
"W-Wow... I-It's beautiful," Ruby said, putting it on her index finger. "W-What is it?"
"It's a ruby," Squall said.
"R-Ruby... C-Could I go b-by Ruby?" Ruby asked.
"... Well since you don't have a name, I don't see why not," Squall said.
"O-Ok," Ruby said, smiling.
