Like before, when Ash's Gardevoir had probed Ellie's mind, Ash turned up a lot more than he probably intended to. Memories flooded from Mr. Ditto's mind.
A very much human child and his parents, one wearing a suit. Always wearing a suit. Getting a pet dog. Being very much a normal family.
Meeting a woman whose hair was always up in a bun. The woman taking him to a lab.
The woman improving him.
The boy no longer being human.
The woman telling the boy that day that she was staying home for the day. The boy heading out to town.
