"Might as well; this book world is getting zetta boring." Minamimoto sighed angrily. "I'll just subtract this matrix from the original numbers!" The young man revealed a pin in his hand; it seemed to be designed with a picture of the Earth with white stripes across it.

Everything except Stefan and Double D turned into static. Loud white-noise filled the air. The world suddenly rebooted, and they were back in the library.
"Well, that was a waste of my time." Stefan muttered irritably. "I hope we didn't miss anthing import--" Stefan coughed loudly, interrupting his sentance.

Double D sighed in relief, glad to be back in a place he recognized. "Finally. I need to get back to... hey, are you alright?"

Stefan looked at the hand he'd coughed into. There was blood in it. "Something's wrong." He wheezed. He coughed into his arm, collapsing onto his knees. "The air... something's wrong with the air."
