Nida considered this conversation quietly, which looked to coming to a halt rather quickly. Poor Trump looked rather disappointed. It was almost kind of funny to watch the childish pout cross his face.
Still... this Joker did indeed look like a worthy team member. And she knew there was no point in letting such a catch go to waste.
"...what kind of audience are you looking for?" she drawled.

The Joker's grin returned. "There's only one person who can truly appreciate my brand of comedy. I suppose... maybe that's why I kill? So I can finally make him laugh? Whatever the reason, I just don't get the same thrill from killing unless I have him as my straight-man."
Trump's eyes lit up. "So, all I've got to do is bring this guy here and you'll help us?"
The Joker thought it over. "Why not?!" He screeched, laughing like a maniac. "I've got nothing better to do!"

"You'll only kill if that guy is here to oppose you?" Shadow asked, thinking she knew where the Joker was going with this.
"Eh?" Kefka looked confused.
"Well in the same way that rebel group, the Returners, opposes your reign of terror Kefka, the Joker has an archnemesis of his own... Batman, is it not?"

Nida made a face. Who was this 'Batman' they spoke of? Surely it wasn't Lord Drac; her lord was above reducing himself to such a nickname.

The Joker sneered. "Well, what would you have him call himself? I'm not about to take advice from a spider, lady; this ain't Marvel."
Trump had started to speak with someone on the phone. "There's a guy I need you to get... Yeah, on Earth-1... My dad probably had a file on him, so it shouldn't be too hard... I'll see you soon."

"It's not your bat, Nida," Shadow said. "Rather... Batman from the Joker's world is a hero, but not like most heroes. Unlike those crusader types who's always doing good, acting kind and polite, making you want to puke, Batman's more... human. It makes him easily corruptable... but if I corrupted him, I'd ruin the Joker's purpose in life, so... best to stay away from that field."
"Ruining only one man's life is boring, but when you put a spin on it and kill as many innocents as you can to make him see how worthless he is... INGENIOUS!" Kefka said.

"I already said I would." The Joker reminded harshly. He wasn't too fond of this spider-lady, but he wasn't in the mood for any senseless violence.
"Good luck trying to corrupt him, though," the Joker shrugged, twirling the empty gun in his hand. "You wouldn't be the first to try it. The Bat's got too big a stick up his ass for any of that to work. Even if it does, he'll always come back with avengeance."
"Are we going to talk about how great this guy is or are we going to work this out?!" Trump exclaimed. "Now let's set this up; HOUSE always has nine members. We need to set up who's in charge and who's just a lackey."

"And one of us is a GOD!" Kefka snapped.
"Demigod. Real gods can't be killed by rebels with sticks up their arse," Lyndara said.

"Well, only 9 of us can be in charge," Trump pointed out poutingly, "I was just trying to drive the point home, is all. No need to be so offended."
"Trump and I have already worked out a system," Danukas explained. "I'm content just being a follower and taking orders from Trump. The same goes for Romeo and..." Danukas cast a backwards glance at Kevin and Oliver. "Well, those two don't have much choice."
"Plus, one seat's already been reserved." Trump explained. "That leaves... seven, I guess? That should be more than enough for you guys."

"Being the ruler of Hell, I command an entire army of demons, not to mention this girl can summon an army of undead at her own beck and call as is," Shadow said, pushing Lyndara forward softly. "And Kefka, despite his lunacy and buffoonery, has enough magic to destroy an entire kingdom. I am the master, they are my servents."
"I told you when I break free from these chains you trapped me with, I WILL kill you," Kefka snarled.
"That's what they all say," Shadow said with a sigh. "Arthas, your services are unrequired. Be gone, decedent half-rate."
"Insolent fool. You will regret those words." With that, Arthas turned and walked out as calmly as he arrived.

A black aura appeared as Digit stepped out. He was covered in blood as he stepped out. "Trump I heard you were here so I came to see what is up." He used the aura to wipe away the blood on him. "Do need help or did I interrupt your plans?" His eyes full of admiration for the warrior.
