Oh, yeah. I so went there. XD
Full Name: Microbe Obliterator
Nicknames: M-O
Age: Unknown
Height: 1 foot
Weight: Light
Gender: Masculine programming
Race: Cleaning android
Alliance: Neutral, favoring Good
Home: The Axiom
Franchise: WALL-E
Physical Description: M-O is a small white cubical droid with rounded front and back. His arms rotate up and down at his sides and are connected to a mono-rotational scrubbing roller. The roller gets its fluids from a light blue disinfectant dispensing backpack attached to the unit. His head is the top half, curved at the bottom so that it seamlessly fits against his arms when he collapses for sleep mode. At the bottom of his head's front side is a black bar with two yellow LED eyes. He rolls around on a gyroscopic locomotion sphere, which also collapses into his body for sleep mode. Whenever his microbe detector goes into overdrive, a little red light pops out of his head like a little cap.
Weapons:
Abilities/Powers: Ability to scan for and detect "foreign contaminants"
Skills: He can sterilize any surface!
Personality: M-O, like any other android with a primary function, is hard pressed to maintain that function: the cleaning and disinfecting of whatever surface he's presented with. If he wants to clean something, he'd follow it to the edge of the universe until it was 100% spotless. He has, however, learned to lighten up since getting to know WALL-E, and has proven himself a loyal enough friend to ignore his programming in one's time of need, though he can still be rather obsessive about cleanliness most other times. A hidden, unexpected side of M-O is that he can be a bit of a romantic and knows when two people need to be left alone with each other.
History: Microbe Obliterator (M-O for short) was one of a wide variety of androids built to perform an equal variety of duties for the leisure space cruise aboard the Axiom. While he has been called to clean up other messes, M-O's main objective was cleaning the EVE probes every time they returned from Earth in search for signs of returning life. The job was tedious but rewarding in the end, and each routine job always went the same... Then he showed up. The trash-compactor unit WALL-E stowed away with one of the EVE probes, and M-O knew he wasn't supposed to be there. But he also knew the robot was filthy, and he had a sanitation quota to keep up! WALL-E was difficult at best to work with and seemed to enjoy rubbing M-O's obsession in his face, both literally and figuratively. When the EVE probe WALL-E followed as taken away due to vegetation discovered on her, WALL-E followed leaving M-O in the dust.
But M-O was not one to be brushed off that easily. All while WALL-E wrecked havoc and won hearts all over the Axiom, M-O followed his messy tracks and scrubbed them away as he went. This one-sided game of cat-and-mouse ended in the garbage chamber where M-O inadvertently saved WALL-E and EVE from being shot out into space. As EVE tried finding compatible replacement parts for the damaged WALL-E, M-O finally took the opportunity to scrub him down and subsequently made friends with him. M-O ultimately joined WALL-E and EVE foil a mutiny lead by the ship's own autopilot and deliver the plant the ship needed to lock onto a course for Earth. As the humans started learning to take care of themselves once again, the robots would alternate between co-existing with them and living amongst themselves at the downed Axiom.
One day, M-O had been cleaning some old machines within the ship when he accidentally activated one. It shorted out and trapped M-O in a field of odd energy, and the next thing he knew he'd fallen into the museum of Dimensional Island's Void City. One he'd gotten to understanding where he was, he had taken on the job of cleaning up the museum each night. It helps him feel useful.
Other: The over-complex techno-babble body part names in the physical description were from the official site, I swear!
