The yoshi jumped back in the nick of time before the ridiculously decorated blade fell, distracting him from the turtle toddler. With a scowl, he looked up at Kanata with a scowl. "Fancy little knife you have there," he said. "Let's see how you fight without it..."
As Ty Rano snapped out his tongue in an attempt to pull the sword from his hands by its hilt, Larry stared coldly at his blockheaded commanding officer. "You didn't start it, all right, but you certainly needlessly escalated matters." He looked at the hedgehog indignantly. "Do you mind? I'm an artificially manufactured representative for diplomatic negotiation, not am arm rest."
Seeing how far things had escalated, Rico turned to Leona and told her quietly, "Maybe we should get gong before we get too caught up in this ourselves." With that, he motioned for her to follow him sliding inconspicuously along the wall. Hopefully no one would see them trying to sneak off like that.

Scourge grinned again, putting his shades back down. "Oooh, well sorry about that- I really didn't mean to make it look like i care." He hissed, vanishing in a flash of speed. "Tell ya what pinky- I'll let it go... but not before dismantling ya!" In an outrageous display of speed and strength- the latter supplied by his permanent power boost, he easily wrapped up Larry in an emerald twister- and by the time he was done, Larry was just a spiraling head on the ground. "Good luck playing hide and seek for your limbs- I put them all over the mall."
Meanwhile, the child king of the koopas was spitting mad- literally. "RAAAAAH!" He screamed, shooting fire in whatever direction he felt like.

Kanata fought over the sword for a few minutes, surprised by Ty-Rano's strength... Then he grinned a bit himself. "Wow! You're pretty strong!! But I'm plenty strong myself! Here watch!"
Why did Ty NOT like the sound of that?
He quickly figured it out when Kanata grabbed Ty's tongue.
SWISH!!!!!!
THUD!!!!!!!
In a scene that imitated a particularly brutal scene from a certain Sprite series (COUGHSUPERMARIOBROSZCOUGH) Ty crashed into the floor. Kanata grinned widely as he let go of the tongue and jumped up and down. "Hahaha! Cool!"
"YIKE!!!!" Leona had to jump back since Kanata's whipping Ty by the tongue caused the yoshi to crash right next to her ad Rico. Not on purpose mind, but it still came pretty close.

Larry was definitely not amused right now. "Oh, ha ha..." he drawled sarcastically. "Very funny, you green spiked cretin." Tuddrussel, on the other hand...kinda was. "Actually, it is kinda funny..." he said. Meanwhile, there was Rico trying to dodge the flurry of fireballs coming from one hot tempered koopa brat. Fate just didn't want them to escape that easily did it? Throwing up his hands with a frustrated grunt, he finally cried out, "That's it! Hey, Baby Reptar!" he called out at young Bowser with his hands cupped like a megaphone. " Chill, will ya?! PK FREEZE!" On that last note, he threw one hand out and fired a blast of light blue energy that could freeze the koopa prince solid on impact. Unbeknownst to anyone in the fray, one of the television monitors in the display behind them flickered to life. And on it was a mostly black screen with a bizarre red logo in the middle.  Just as Rico and Leona likely thought they had enough with Baby Bowser's antics, a certain red yoshi in a lab coat slammed into the ground next to him. Jumping back in surprise, Rico jumped back, smacking his forehead incredulously. " This is getting ridiculous..." he groaned. Meanwhile, two bespectacled boys stepped out of the same shop the time cop and robot emerged from earlier. They seemed not to notice what was going on at first. "And that's what makes time travel poss..." The auburn-haired boy trailed off his explanation to the silver-haired one as he just finally noticed all hell seemed to have broken loose in the hall. That, and Larry seemed to have lost his head, or at least everything but it. Slowly he turned to look warily at his team's commanding officer. "Tuddrussel...?" Tuddrussel threw up his hands in defense. "Hey, I didn't start it this time." |

When little Bowser heard someone calling him a reptar- whatever that was- he turned around- just in time to see a huge blast of light and snow. "Ooooh, that makes me MAAAD!" he stomped, his face burning a bright red- while smoke poured out of his nostrils. Before he could take any real action he was frozen in place- but still heating up beyond the ice.
Still darting around, Scourge took notice of the two kids coming out of the store his new jigsaw came out of- and proceeded to give the auburn boy a wedgie. "Never ask if you don't want to get involved, kid!" he gloated, before running circles around them and dashing into the frey- successfully knocking Ty-Rano into the air with a well timed maneuver.
Meanwhile, Baby Bowser's icy prison was starting to crack- and by the twitching of the glowing koopa inside, he was just about free- and overheating!

Judging by Ty Rano's lack of response, Kanata was willing to guess the yoshi was out of commission. Smiling childishly, he unwrapped his sword from Ty's tongue and took notice of Scourge rushing all over the place. Deciding on his next target, Kanata charged a magic spell. "HEY! Uh... Spikey!!! BLUSH MINE!!!"
A wide array of magical spheres appeared around the scene... And Leona had a vague idea that if they touched one, things would get very explosive around here... As she looked on in fear, she didn't notice at all that odd looking symbol appearing in the TV's behind her and Rico... "Rico, I think leaving now would be a wise idea...."

Otto yelped in pain as he felt his underwear ride up from behind. Lloyd cringed as he helped his friend stay upright. "Are you all right...?" he asked, even though he had a pretty good idea he wasn't all that much really.
"Haven't had one of those in a good few years..." he squeaked through clenched teeth.
Able to tell himself things were probably only going to get worse, Rico agreed with Leona's sentiment. "Yeah... Let's--Augh!"
Before he could say anymore, Scourge suddenly zoomed in, knocking the yoshi scientist into the air and the two humans over in the process. That sudden jolt seemed to get Rano moving again, and he did not look happy in the slightest.
Furious, the lab coated dinosaur carelessly shoved Leona aside again as he pulled himself up. "They may think I'm down for the count, but I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve..." he could be heard saying to himself.
As the yoshi prepared to utilize whatever said tricks were, Rico backed up slightly, now nearly in front of the electronic shop's entrance. He slowly got to his hands and knees, and would've pulled to his feet and slipped over to help Leona up as well. He would've, had it not been for the small inconspicuous stream of black mist that had just slipped through a light fixture above moments ago. Just as Rico was in a kneeling position, the mist split up into five strands at the end before shoving its way up the boy's mouth, nasal passages, and ear canals.
With a muffled, anguished yelp, Rico squirmed slightly on the ground as his body very briefly glowed an eerie black. And then, quick as it began, it stopped. Rico pulled to his feet in a rigid, unnatural motion, and quick as a wink began to take off for the exit.

And thing's became dangerous once Bowser's ice prison melted away- the young prince coated in light. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGGGHHH!!!!!!!"
The attrocious ball of fire launched from his mouth was undeniably hot and burning- and on top of it all, packed in pretty tight. so it was pretty obvious that the resulting explosion would probably rival a full powered Bulky Bob-omb's blast at best.
(This information is so important that Scourge had to be left out of my post.)

?!?!?!? "WHOA!! HOT HOT!!!" Kanata barely dodged the explosion that had occured not too far off from him. Even so however it did succeed in singing the tips of his robes... Which was something since Kanata was vaguely sure his robes served as magic proof armor every bit as much as it served as public wear. "Wow...."
He was silent a few moments.........
Before his smile grew even wider. "WOW!!! Talk about Red Hot!!! That was awesome little guy!! Way ta go-"
That's when he noticed an ember floating towards one of his Blush Mine magic bombs.
"Oh..."
BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kanata had managed to brace himself just as the Blush Mine exploded. It was a reasonably powerful kaboom, matching the one that Bowser Jr had created quite easily. While the flames didn't touch him, the shockwave sent him flying backwards, causing him to crash into the electronics store. He landed amidst a bunch of old TV's and remote control cars. "Ouch..."
With Leona, she had kept herself on the ground, which may have explained why she wasn't sent flying herself. Once the explosion passed over, she quickly looked around. "Rico! Rico are you oka-"
She found him making a run for the exit. "What-? Hey!! Rico where are you going?!?" She quickly got to her feet, and ran after him, "Wait for me!!!"

Tuddrussel also caught sight of the ember that floated towards Kanata's Blush mine. His expression grew uncomfortable as he realized it was about to get a lot hotter in here. "Whoa nelly..."
The large man threw himself over his young ward and his friend, pressing them securely against the wall just as the big explosion ripped through the hallway. As the deadly light show subsided, the time cop eased up to let Otto and Lloyd crawl out. His back was quite singed, but he appeared not to feel that much pain from it.
"Are you OK, Tuddrussel?" Otto asked worriedly.
But he just chuckled, waving his concern off. "I've been through worse..."
And at that point, Otto's voiced picked up a familiar voice. "Isn't that..." he scanned the area until he spotted her. "...Leona?" Yes, of course. A number of days back, he and his team encountered a girl named Miyako whom they helped find her friends at the Interdimensional Travel Station. One of them had been with a girl named Leona, and there she was trying to catch up with a Hispanic looking boy who seemed older than him but just a little younger than her. "Who's that she's chasing?"
Lloyd raised his eyebrows in surprise as he recognized him. "That's Rico," he said. "What's he doing?"
Ty Rano turned as he noticed the two humans he landed near taking off. In his hand was what appeared to be an ordinary yoshi egg. "Where do you think you're going, little brat?" His tongue shot out again, grabbing Rico by the arm.
Said 'little brat' didn't look happy at all to be delayed in his abscond. Although likely no one saw it due to the angle, the black outline of the symbol previously shining on the television monitors now shone in his eyes. Snatching the yoshi tongue, he sent a painful charge of electricity down it that hit Rano like a thousand white hot pins and needles.
In his pain, he loosened his grip enough that Rico could pull hims all the way across the hall and lasso toss him back in the other direction. His 'egg' flew into the air before landing explosively on the ground. The dinosaur knocked through Prince Bowser as he went flying, and one might have heard a bowling ball strike pins had this been part of some Rule of Funny heavy cartoon.
Lloyd and Otto stared at this startling display as Rico took off again.
"R-Rico...??"
"...the heck...?!?"

And because he shot such a huge blast of fire, the young prince was choking on his own heat. "Yuck- that tasted nassty!" he puffed, still smoking- just in time to get bowling allie'd into a nearby trash can. "HEY! WHO TOINED OUT DA LIGHTS?! GIMME OUTTA HEYA!"
Close by, Scourge chuckled. "'Bout time someone took out the trash." he smirked, continuing to servey from a safe distance.

Leona was surprised to a great extent when she saw the brutal show, and looked to find Rico making a run for it shortly there-after. She was terrified really. Her energy senses told her that something was... Off about that lightning attack. It just didn't feel like PSI energy. "Rico?"
When the man went running, she quickly chased after him. Something in her being told her that doing so would be insane... But at that point in time, she just didn't care. Rico was her friend, and she wasn't about to abandon him. Something was really wrong.
With Kanata, he walked out of the electronics store, mildly wrapped up in cables, and a TV dragging behind him. "Wow..." He shook himself off like a dog, managing to dislodge a few of the cables wrapped around him, but failed to dislodge the TV cord. "I had more power then I thought I did." He chuckled obscenely as he took in the show, Ty Rano down once more, Bowser Jr. stuck in a trash can... The only one left appeared to be Scourge.
"MAN!! I missed all the cool stuff didn't I?"

While he didn't know Rico himself, Otto could pick up from Lloyd and Leona's reactions that something was definitely wrong with this picture. Heck, despite not knowing him, even he could tell. There was something...unnatural about his movement and behavior. He just couldn't place his finger on it...
The young time traveler cast a worried gaze down the hall and threw a glance at his friend. "We can't just leave her to run after him on her own. She could be headed into trouble..."
Lloyd seemed a little surprised at what he was implying, casting him a funny look. "Otto, what are you...?" But Otto had already taken off in the same direction as the two older kids. The little mechanical prodigy nearly jumped in shock as he was almost left in the dust. "Hey! Wait for me!" he cried as he scrambled after him.
Both had completely forgotten, however, the metal head lying on the ground. From his low vantage point, he was able to avoid the blunt of that mine blast. But he was still...well, y'know...a helpless disembodied head. "Hold on, you two! I'm still a broken jigsaw puzzle over here!" he called after them to no avail. "You can't just leave me here!"
Dusting his back off, Tuddrussel stepped up chuckling humorously at the Larry head lying at his feet. His android leered up at him. "Stop chuckling and start searching, buffoon."

"Well, looks like my work here is done," Scourge grinned, picking himself up. "Not that bad of a day, but it could've been better."
Meanwhile, said brat in a trash can was still wiggling around- until he managed to tip it over and land on his feet. "Hey! Where am I goin'?! Hey! HEY!! KAMEK, YOU LOUSY BABY SITTER, WHERE ARE YOU?!!?" Before long, the little behemoth started banging the can, royally annoyed.
