Full Name: Unknown to her, she blocked it and the horrible memories it brought her from her mind. Nowadays she goes by Peg.
Nicknames: Captain Pegleg, Pegleg, Captain, Armor
Age: 50 in human years
Height: 5'11''
Weight: 130 pounds
Gender: Female
Race: Skarmory
Alliance: Chaotic Neutral (she'll gladly fight for whichever side pays her more)
Home: She was born in the Kanto region, but nowadays she wanders the Pokemon world.
Franchise: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Physical Description: Peg is a slightly oversized Skarmory, and she has a few more details that make her stand out. While most of her kind heals their scars every year when they shed, Peg has sustained permanent scars, covering her entire body. She has taken her nickname from her missing left talon, which was replaced years ago with a wooden one. Peg has a black headband of some sort around her head, with a dark purple strip of fabric covering that eye... or rather, the hole where her eyes once was. Her visible eye gleams a blood red color, and the red parts of her wings are colored in a way not dissimilar to blood, and if you look closely, you can spot dried, aged blood on her wings, intact talon and tail. Another detail is that the silver parts of Peg's feathers are rather dull, and gleam weakly in the slight.
Weapons: .... She is a weapon XD
Abilities/Powers: Her attacks;
*Slash: She slices at her opponent with her wing tips. Won't affect ghosts.
*Night Slash: Identical to Slash in every way, except for its ability to hit ghosts.
*Steel Wing: She strikes her opponent with her wings, and sometimes after finishing the attack, her physical defense may rise to one and a half times its normal level.
*Spikes: She launches spikes out on the battlefield, inflecting damage onto anyone who steps onto them.
*Whirlwind: She whips up a vicious twister to blow away enemies.
*Swift: She sends a barrage of star-shaped projectiles at her opponent, this attack rarely misses.
*Rock Slide: She sends a barrage of rocks out, and sometimes when the attack finishes, the striked targets may flinch.
*Brave Bird: She recklessly charges at her opponent, going straight for their weak spot. She takes massive recoil from the attack.
Also, attacks that would cause instant knockouts are totally ineffective against her. Here on the island, this translates to anything that would instantly kill or at least knock out someone simply bouncing off her. This is what her "Sturdy" ability gives her.
Her type combination also lends her immunities to any earth-based attack, and the ability to not be affected by any sort of poison.
Skills: Peg is capable of flight, even over long distances when carrying a heavy person or Pokemon. She is also skilled at survival, and could easily last a long time in the worst condition. She is a born leader, a role she took from a young age. A skill that she possesses, but loathes, is her killing ability. She knows the weak spots of all non-legendary Pokemon, and where and when a blow inflected will become lethal. It is possibly because of her ability to kill that she also taught herself how to simply knock out almost any Pokemon.
Personality: Peg is someone that you would want nothing more than to smack. She is dark and twisted, and could honestly not care less about the world and most of the people in it. She is also quite arrogant, considering herself the best there ever was. She values money above all else, and in almost all situations, would gladly turn traitor over a handful of coin.
What next to nobody sees is her sensitive side. Peg has a soft spot for orphaned Pokemon, and would do anything to help them. She is sensitive about the issue of blood sports, honing to her past. This is a more motherly side to her, and as much as Peg would like to deny it, it is there.
History: Peg does not remember her name at birth, and has blocked much of her past from her mind. Even at the age of fifty, her childhood still haunts her.
She was born in the Kanto region, and her purpose was a grim one. While most Pokemon battles end with merely knocking out all of the other trainer's Pokemon, with quickly curable damage, Peg was breed for a blood sport. She was the final product of excessive breeding for a perfect fighter, and her earliest memories are of her parents and siblings being killed before her eyes. This senseless killing was a precursor to what she was breed for.
Peg was being trained for what was essentially the Pokemon version of dog fighting. Her 'trainer' was abusive, and would whip her for even the most minor mistakes, and even when she did what she was told. These scars have never completely healed. It was because of this training from the age of one that Peg was turned into a complete monster by the time she was seven.
She quickly rose through the ranks of the illegal sport, claiming her first life by the young age of nine. She tasted blood, and she liked it. Peg won her 'trainer' much coin, and left a wake of destruction. It was during this time that she lost her left talon and received a wooden replacement. Peg kept this up... until she was nineteen years old.
When she was nineteen, Peg found herself facing an opponent that she could rip apart in her sleep. It seemed as though she would win the fight and claim another life... had her opponent not been a tiny little Pidgey, free from the horrors of blood sports, and its trainer a boy from a family that was in desperate need for cash. Peg's trainer had mocked the boy, saying that if his Pidgey somehow beat Peg, he would gladly pay up.
It was then that Peg's conscious resurfaced. She refused to fight, even when whipped and yelled out. She protested, and in a moment of defiance, turned on her trainer. With fury, Peg attacked her trainer, but ended up going too far. When she finished, her trainer was dead. Realizing what she had done, Peg concluded that there was only one thing for her to do. She flew away, to wander the land and protect the innocent. However, her bitterness was intact.
Peg spent the next twenty years of her life on the road, rescuing Pokemon suffering from abuse. Something unexpected happened with some of the rescuees. They offered to join her. She honestly didn't care, and ended up with a small gang; its members were a male Skorupi called Scorpion, a male Aerodactyl named Spike, a female Chinchou named Flash, a Nidorina named Drill, a Growlithe named Blazer, and a Mudkip named Notch. She eventutally made them into an unofficial rescue team; Team Destroyers.
She spent another ten years on the road, but she was no longer alone. Peg grew close to her companions, and watched them all grow u. It was when she was forty-nine that her team ran into a Bayleef, this one possessing an unusual grayish tint. She said her name was Artemis, and that she was seeking her missing brother, to try and bring him back. When Peg learned that her brother was named Apollo, her temper soared. She had clashed blades with his team, Team Mythos, and despite having all the type advantages, lost every time. She accepted Artemis onto the team, if only to secretly use her against Apollo.
It was when she was fifty when she and her team were traveling through the Orre region, when a portal appeared from the sands, threatening to suck them all in. While she tried her hardest to fight it, in the end, Peg and the rest of Team Destroyers were sucked into it, and spit out onto Dimensional Island.
Other: Peg CAN speak English in the human language, though she still has a bit of an accent, or squawks and other bird sounds incorporated into her speech.
