Minato looked back at Ryoji as he put a hand on his shoulder. Minato sighed and looked back toward Teddie. Teddie seemed depressed over what had happened to Souji. Hell, they all seemed rather depressed, except maybe Honda, and Honda had just met them anyways.

"It's not your fault, Teddie..." Minato said in an attempt to reassure the bear.

Takahashi nodded and turned to leave as well. Well, hopefully no one was freaking out all that badly at the station. Christ this had been a bad day. He'd likely have to deal with Chisaki later, too. From the sound of things, she was in a bit of a mood.

Souji didn't object as the Shikome moved to the corner. She still made him nervous, but on the other hand, it didn't seem like she'd hurt him. He lay back down in the hospital bed and closed his eyes. He didn't feel all that tired, but there wasn't much to do here but sleep.

"I just wanna tell Sensei that Izanami is alright..."

As far as Teddie was concerned, all this had happened because Mana had been killed. He didn't think Souji had hurt himself, which left Izanagi. Things had been going smoothly there, too. What had happened? He didn't give a real response to Minato. Yuugi broke the silence.

"We'll let him know as soon as we can, okay, Teddie-kun? Souji-kun will be okay, alright?"

Teddie didn't respond. Yuugi gave a pained frown and turned away. Souji had gotten hurt. Yuugi didn't for an instant blame Teddie, but Souji had gotten hurt. There wasn't anything they could do about it at the moment, and that hurt in its own way.

"You'll worry the guy more if you just hang out here, Teddie," Honda stated. Teddie looked up towards Honda with a frown, and Honda winced a bit at it. Well that attempt had fallen flat.

"Honda-kun's right..." Yuugi said, "Teddie, we can't help him here. He wouldn't want you to go out of your way. We can call the hospital later and check on him!"

Teddie nodded, "S-so we should just go home...?"

Teddie was concerned for Souji, that much was easy to tell. Really, Teddie's reaction to things didn't surprise Minato considering things. Teddie was obviously close to Souji. Hell, he called him "Sensei", which was obviously an honor he'd never given to anyone else in Souji's group. The fact that all of this had happened at once... no wonder Teddie was torn up.

"Yeah, let's head back home," Minato said. He sighed. This was supposed to be a nice, fun Christmas for once. He guessed even Christmas wasn't off limits as far as their general hell went.
