Felix noticed Oni get away. A snarl was on his face, but Masahiro's hand on his shoulder kept him from leaving. Masahiro smiled softly, happy that Kyle was finally free from his torment. "Well... it seems we'll be adding someone to our new family," he said.

Kyle blinked as Double D grabbed his hand, the shadows that made up his body standing out against the light. He closed his eyes as he felt the soothing energy Double D was giving off, and nodded, allowing the angel to lead him back over to his body.
Once over at his body, Kyle suddenly felt himself being pulled from his shadow and toward his original body. He felt this body fade, and then there was darkness again. He opened his eyes, and realized that he was back in his own body again.
He tried to sit up, but his head spun and he ended up laying back down again.
"...Today was some day, huh..." Kyle said. "...I can't believe I'm free... Thank you, Double D..."

Double D knelt beside the body as he led Kyle in, breifly shutting his eyes in recovery. That was... a power he didn't knew he had.
He opened them again at Kyle's non-distorted voice, and tears began to run rivers down his face again. They had done it. Kyle was free. He DID follow through with his promise... he... succeeded after all...!
"T...To..." he sniffled, trying to hold back. "...T-Told you so~!"
Oh, who was he kidding? The waterworks started flowing, and as the angel leaned down and hugged the boy tightly, the cheers continued around them.

Kyle sniffled a bit, and then he hugged Double D back, sobbing all the while. He wasn't even bothering to try to hold the waterworks back at this point either, and hell, he was happy. Probably for the first time in the past five years, he was truely happy.
"Those two," Crow said, pointing at Kyle and Double D. "Are the most unmanly men I have ever seen."
"...O-Oh Double D... I'm so sorry for everything I've done... I'm so happy, but... I'm so sorry..." Kyle sobbed. "I attacked you guys because of Oni... Oni even used my body to rape you.."
Crow's eyes widened and she blinked. She turned toward Felix. "When did that happen!?"

Felix shook his head. "That didn't happen."
"It didn't?" Masahiro asked.
"Don't be lying now," Trevor replied.
"Considering my bad experiences with rape, do you think Kyle would've survived to see ANY day if he had raped Edward, Oni or no?" Felix asked.
How bluntly honest and truthful, Trevor and Masahiro thought, Masahiro feeling a slight pang of guilt hit him.

Double D gladly accepted the hug, shutting his serenely and nodding and smiling at Kyle's happy words...
...wait, what? They popped open at that four-letter word.
"....uh?" He withdrew from the hug slightly, giving Kyle the strangest of looks. "...um... Oni used my soul name, this is true. He exploited my weaknesses, indeed. But I didn't remember him going THAT far. Not at all." He gave Felix the strange look, then went back to Kyle. "If that was what he had planned, Felix interuupted him."

Now it was Kyle's turn to blink in surprise. "But... after he did everything, he gave me the memories of everything he did... he used your soul name, he tortured you, he tore off your wings... and then he r-raped you."
"I remember hearing about everything except that last part," Crow said. "Kyle, I think Oni gave you some false memories of what happened."
Kyle blinked. "...I... but how?"
"It wouldn't be too hard, with his powers," Crow explained. "This probably isn't the first time he's given you false memories of things, too."

"Actually..." Raz spoke up. "I was helping Masahiro with the research and everything, and I found out that demons specialize in creating images that aren't true."
At the weird glances, he shrugged. "...that's what it said."

Kyle flushed red and looked down at the ground. "So... he's been feeding me images of things that never happened this whole time...?"
"That's what it sounds like," Crow said. "That's probably how he's been keeping you under his control all this time."
Kyle didn't say anything, but he was pretty much broadcasting two emotions... curiosity, and fear.
