Dementia jumped out of the way, looking over at Vanessa. She death glared her. She decided to keep her busy while Gantz and her friend make sure Red's alright.
So, she pinned Vanessa down, her claws digged the concert, which were near Vanessa's rists, so she was trapped temorary. She looked up at Rosaline, giving a silent glace that said 'go help me, please.'
Faith looked at Gantz in question, but did what she was told, even though the gun was not pointing in any direction near her. She silently watched the battle in progress, thinking of another alternate to protect the two so they won't come in harm's way of Vanessa.

Rosaline quickly nodded, preparing some more geomancy... Vanessa snarled with a hiss before kicking Dementia off of her. Growling, she prepped her Katana... Before putting the sword away. "So, you want me to be serious do ya? Well all you had to do was ask." Electricity charged in her hand.
"Try this... BOLTGAN!!!!!"
With a downward swing of her hand, the lightning magic zapped outwards, it's power looking around the same as a Thundaja, the fourth level Thunder spell. Rosaline barely dodged out of the way, as did Dementia, as the spell zapped past them, and right out of the park, hitting an adjacent building...
BOOM.
A gaping hole was apparent in the side of the building, when the smoke cleared. It probably would've been an impressive sight if that building had been solid instead of being hollow inside filled with what probably were offices back in the day. Still it was quite the show.
...... "Whoa..." Rosaline looked properly suprised at that.
Gantz winced at the sight, Red didn't look that much better. "Wow indeed..."
Vanessa frowned flatly, as she prepared another spell in her hand. "Shinegan!" A sphere of holy energy blasted out of the mercenary's hand like a gun...
Aimed right at Red and, to that effect, Gantz.
"Gantz!!!!"
The boy looked up to see the spell heading his way, his eyes widening. "RED LOOK OUT!!!!" Before Red could find out what he meant, he grabbed the bewildered girl and dodged aside. The Shinegan spell slammed into another car, causing it to blow up.
That did it... Rosaline was MAD. "That's IT!!! SPEED CRUSH!!!"
Vanessa probably shouldn't have lowered her guard to Rose and Dementia, because the attack hit dead center. Rolling back to her feet, Vanessa felt a little... Slower then usual.

Dementia fell onto the ground, moaning from the pain. She got herself up and watched in horror as she failed to protect anyone.
Faith watched as Vanessa was ready to attack. Being a robot, it was impossible for her to die, so she decided to take the fall for the two.
Just as she stood in front of the target, she watched as Rosaline got Vanessa pretty good. Faith still didn't leave of the target she was in front of.
Dementia took this as an opportunity. Her right hand's claws grew an extra feet, giving Vanessa a slasher smile.

Vanessa hissed at the Gria and decided to fire another Shinegan at the girl... Well imagine her surprise when she found that her spell was charging WAY slower then before.
"Wh-what-?!?"
"Like the Speed Crush attack?" Rosaline was growling angrily, as she picked up her dropped sword. "It's an attack that dramatically decreases the speed of certain attacks and movements. Apparently in your case, that means your spell casting speed." She prepped her sword and charged, letting out a battle cry as she did. Vanessa promptly canceled out the spell and reached for her katana.
Quickly blocking Dementia's attack, she tried a sideway swing, only to find the movement severely slowed down. Growling she tried for a vertical slash, and immediately found gravity keeping the slash at normal speed...
Meaning she was stuck with predictable downward slashes... Go figure...
With Gantz and Red, the two were on the ground, having barely dodged the Shinegan. "Red... Are you okay?"
Red looked completely and utterly scared out of her wits. She was near tears, in fact. How odd for Red to act like this...
But Gantz himself knew that Red hated feeling helpless more then anything. She must've known that she stood no chance against Vanessa, and that was affecting her self esteem. The boy helped Red up, giving her a look of unwavering care. "Listen Red. I want to help you, and I can help you. All you have to do is trust me, okay?" He held out his hand to emphasize his words.
Red merely looked at the hand, unsure of what to do...
'Remember'
Red looked almost confused. That voice almost seemed to come from inside her head...
'Remember... Trust...'
......................
Slowly, amidst all of the fighting, Red looked up to Gantz again... Slowly, hesitantly, she raised a hand up to Gantz's and, even more hesitantly, took it, squeezing it a little.
"Atta girl." Needless to say, Gantz was quite pleased with this.

Dementia's attack didn't work as well, but it was worth it. She dodged Vanessa's other attack at ease. She smirked.
"Not so tough now, are ya?" She said at ease.
Faith looked over at Gantz and Red. If she had emotions at the moment, she'll smile at the tender moment. But since she had no emotions, she'll watched at them with the same emotionless stare she had. Though, she'll admit that it's charming in its own right.

Vanessa growled angrily at Dementia's comment, really wishing she had her full movement back so she could teach this piece of junk some manners. But of course, even then, she had that Geomancer wielding a sword to deal with along with her, so that would still be difficult.
Needless to say, Vanessa was really starting to dislike her odds. Hate them in fact.
That was when she saw Gantz and Red...
So... Those two were in league with each other were they? Now she liked her chances even less. Even more then that, what was up with that kid? He acted like he knew Red's record and didn't even care.
What WAS he up to?
Well, whatever. At this point, it was time to accept, as they say, 'the better part of valor'. "Grrr... I'll let you all of the hook this time. But trust me when I say this isn't the last you'll see me." She appeared to pull out some kind of odd little sphere from her kimono. With a quick movement of her arm, she tossed it to her feet, causing it to burst open.
Immediately smoke burst into existence out of the sphere, immediately making it apparent that it had been a smoke bomb.
It took a few minutes for Rosaline to whip up a wind spell to blast the smoke out of the park... But by then, the Black Cat Samurai was long gone. "Man... She's gone..." Rosaline groaned.
"Let her go Rose." Gantz walked up, helping Red every step of the way. "We have Red, and she's safe now, let's leave it at that."

Dementia watched as Vanessa left. She sighed in the pleasure that it was all over.
"Thank god, I don't think I would hold the tough monster bit up for any longer," Dementia said calmly.
Faith looked over at Guntz and Red, and looked at them in interest.
"Yes, the prize has been claimed, and that's all that matters."
There was a silent pause.
"Though, that woman shall show up eventually, we'll be prepared for another attack. Hopefully when the time comes, it'll be when all of your allies are with you."
It was a sort of irony that someone as naive, sweet, compassionate, and somewhat clueless could create someone like Faith.
Dementia looked around the area one last time.
"I think leaving would be our safest bet," Dementia stated.

From where she stood, being supported by Gantz, Red appeared to wince painfully, holding her hand to her chest. "I think that's a good idea. No more use staying here. Besides, it looks like Red may need medical attention." He nods at his own words. "We'll take her back to my estate. I can do a better job of healing her there, since the house is safe enough for me to focus my magic."
"Good idea." Rosaline put away her sword and helped Red along with Gantz. Meanwhile, Soul Calibur floated over and sheathed itself in a leather holder at Gantz's waist. "Sides, the others are probably wondering where we are right now."
With a nod, Gantz seeme to agree. "Wouldn't surprise me. I just hope Double D is still okay. I feel bad about leaving him when he needed friends, but this had been brought to my attention after all."

Dementia froze at the mention of Double D as they followed them out of the parking lot.
"What happened to him," She asked.
Faith raised a questioning eye-brow.

... Did Dementia know Double D? Gantz looked fairly confused. Maybe he had missed Double D talking about her. Deciding to answer, he lowered his head. "There was an... Incedent some time ago. Felix and Double D broke up, it was... A messy affair."
Rosaline nodded, having heard the story from Gantz. "Yeah, Felix killed an angel named Masahiro by taking his attention off of a monsterized Double D, whom promptly killed him. When everyone learned that Felix had caused it... Well... Things got a bit violent."
No duh, there.

Dementia looked a bit shocked at the statement. They met briefly at the museum, but she like listening to his tales spread by word of mouth. It was kind of shocking to hear about that, though, since they been together so long
"Well, I hope he'll get over this," was all Dementia got to say about that.
Faith kept her similar blank expression. It's not that she didn't care its- well, you get the idea.
"Don't worry, love never truly last. If it isn't other circumstances, it would most likely be death."
There was a silent pause.
".... Maybe we'll discuss these matters at your place, Mr. Gantz."

Gantz took a look around, finding himself agreeing to Faith... At least about leaving this place. "Good idea... Let's get moving then."
After a bit of a walk, the gang found themselves outside the Industrial park, Gantz and Rosaline helping Red every step of the way. She appeared to be wincing a bit, as the two continued moving. Smiling in a comforting matter, Gantz nodded to the girl. "Don't worry Red. We'll be home before you know it."
Red nodded at the statement; thus far this man had proven to be trustworthy...

Dementia followed behind her idle, taking a brief glance at the place before heading towards his house.
Faith was the last one out of the park, she reflected over the events that had happened here, then listened to Gantz's final statements.
"Yes, home," Faith silently said.
And thus begins another tale between Gantz and his new companions.
