Well sociopathy just means a total lack of empathy while psychopathy is a lack of common sense and reasoning. Sociopaths can be normal and even very intelligent, but see the world as nothing but playthings. Psychopaths like to test authority and see what they can do and get away with and should they get caught, god forbid, what they can do to get out of it.
