Full Name: Elior Van Schaick
Nicknames: Windy, Avatar, Klutz
Age: 17
Height: 5'8''
Weight: 129 pounds
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Avatar of Windfall, light god of the Shimmer Islands)
Alliance: Lawful Neutral/Good
Home: Birthplace is Lilycove City in the Hoenn region.
Franchise: Pokemon (main series, no game in particular)
Physical Description: Windy is an average height teenager, and is just a bit below normal weight. His ribs wouldn't show if he were to take off his shirt, and it's not enough to make doctors concerned. He's very pale, and presumably an albino. When he opens his mouth, his canine teeth are slight longer than a normal human's, but barely enough to stand out.
He has white hair, and it's rather untamed. It trails down to his shoulders in the back, and a large clump covers his forehead in the front. Some stray pieces fall into his eyes, and off to the side his ears may or may not be covered on the care occasion he's not wearing his hat. His red eyes are a bit large for his face, and the usual looks you'll find him wearing are a friendly smile or a slightly depressed frown.
Windy has a very peculiar style of clothing. It consists of a dark orange ski cap, with two triangular pieces coming down and covering his ears (point down), a dark green long-sleeved jacket with what appears to be a silver dragon wing pattern on the back, a black long-sleeved shirt with the words "5-20" on it in silver letters with a rune pattern at the bottom, blue jeans with pale blue-green rune designs down the sides, dark gray boots with silver cuffs around the ankles, and silver, fingerless gloves. He wears a white belt with black Unown letters spelling out a strange message, and he has six Poke Balls- One standard, two Ultra, one Great, one Dive, and one Luxury. His personal items, including his wallet and supplies, are held in a simple white bag with more black Unown letters spelling out his name.
A slight hint to the fact that he is not a normal human are the black markings below his eyes. They point away from his face, and resemble a sort of stylized arrow. They don't seem to wash off, and the pigmentation appears natural.
Weapons: He doesn't have any weapons in the traditional sense of the word. What he could use as a weapon is limited to mainly what he could pick up and throw at somebody. In theory, Windy could tap into his powers and use them as a sort of mental weapon, but he would rather not.
Abilities/Powers: Another tip-off that Windy isn't a regular human are his special powers. He can, to some extent, read a person's aura and detect darkness. However, it is not fool-proof, and those with powerful auras can easily elude detection, or at least fool him. He understands the speech of Pokemon, though his exposure to Pokemon from an early age may be the cause.
Windy's one odd power out is his ability to suppress chaotic and dark energies. He can even do this on living creatures, by transferring the excess energies into him. They don't seem to affect him negatively or positively.
He also has some kind of connection to the Gem of Windfall. When he is close enough to the gemstone, it will radiate with a strange aura, and Windy's powers seem to work more effectively.
Skills: Windy is a fast runner, particularly when he is motivated by fear or determination. While it's nothing worth note, he can lift a bit more weight than is expected for his size. He is a fairly skilled trainer, having been exposed to Pokemon since an early age. While he can do Contests and Pokelathons just fine, battling is his area of expertise. To be precise, he is qualified to participate in the Hoenn, Sinnoh and Johto leagues, and is just one badge away from being able to participate in the Kanto League.
Personality: To put it bluntly, Windy's usually the delightfully oblivious one. He'll usually go about his own business without much of a care in the world, humming to himself. His head's a bit in the clouds, and he's merely average in terms of intellect.
Truth be told, he's a bit of a coward, and could flee from the simplest of things. He doesn't have a ton of self esteem, as one well-placed insult could send him straight to waterworks. It was like he was born without his sense of pride sometimes. However, there exists the potential for personal growth within Windy, and possibly meeting the god whom he is the avatar of could do some good.
He is also very protective of anybody he considers to be his friend. Don't try to hurt them, because if he learns of it, there will be pain dished out on the offender.
History: Windy was born to a rich family in Lilycove City, and grew up surrounded by Pokemon. He learned of many different species, and found that he liked them all the same. He usually spent his childhood among the Pokemon, and when he was ten years old, was sent to Littleroot Town to receive a Pokemon from Professor Birch. He ended up choosing a Torchic, and set out on his adventure.
He had the time of his life, especially when it came to diving to reach Sootopolis City... and had maybe just a little too much fun with the ice floors. Upon receiving his eighth badge, he opted not to challenge the Elite Four in Evergrande City, instead deciding to travel through the other regions.
While Sinnoh and Johto were smooth sailing, he met up with a particularly tough trainer in Kanto. He had just won the Volcano badge, and was on his way to battle for the Earth Badge when he bumped into a particularly arrogant trainer. They had a battle, and Windy was curb-stomped by the trainer's Dusknoir. His name was Merikh, and was around the same age as Windy was, about sixteen. He then brutally deconstructed Windy, sending the albino teen into a state of shock.
He pretty much gave up after that, living only for his Pokemon, and for the possible chance of defeating Merikh. It was a stormy night, when Windy was sucked into a whirlpool... a whirlpool that spit him out in a back alleyway, no longer in his own world.
Other: He's lactose intolerant. Also, he knows people like Red by name, but doesn't know them in person.

Capture History
Rei is Windy's first Pokemon, having been received as a Torchic when he was ten years old. He's been with him ever since.

Personality
Leah is stubborn and self-centered, believing that she should come before everybody else. If disturbed while she is grooming herself, she will not hesitate to smack the offender about.
Capture History
Windy caught Leah when she was a Skitty. She was used in many gyms, before being exposed to a Moon Stone about halfway through Johto. He's been regretting the decision to evolve her ever since.
Other
Attached to a white collar around Leah's neck is a small green berry. When eaten, it removes any status problem she may have, and is known as a "Lum Berry" in her world.
She was caught in a standard Poke Ball, but was transferred to an Ultra Ball after evolution.
-Neon the Ariados-

Neon can't seem to sleep for long. He gets up early, and goes to sleep late. He won't fall asleep in battle, like ever. This is now his "Insomnia" ability manifests itself.
Personality
Neon is a hard worker, willing to make many personal sacrifices for the team. He will attack only if provoked enough, and that's if you get him to crack. He is, in many ways, Leah's polar opposite.
Capture History
Neon was caught when he was just a Spinarak. Windy fell into some kind of pit, and his Poke Balls and bag were out of reach above. He tried to climb up, and failed. He would have been trapped, had a Spinarak not passed by, and with pity, released some web down and helped the kid up. Noting that the Spinarak started following him, Windy decided to add it to the team.
Other
Leah and Neon don't get along well with each other, so in a double battle, Windy will try to avoid sending the two out together.
He's in the other Ultra Ball.
-Needle the Cacturne-
Height: 4'03''
Weight: 170.6 pounds
Gender: Male
Preferred Attacks
Faint Attack, Needle Arm, Brick Break, Sandstorm
Non-standard attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutor)
Brick Break, Embargo, Payback, Strength, Double Team
Skills
In a sandstorm, Needle seems to emit a strange powder. This powder obscures his form and makes him harder to hit. This is how his "Sand Veil" ability manifests itself.
Personality
Very, very affectionate, much to his teammates' dismay. He loooooooves to give hugs to both friends and strangers alike, often causing injuries due to his pointy arms. Needle doesn't seem to notice, though.
Capture History
Windy happened to be traveling a desert in northern Hoenn, and came across a hungry Cacnea. He gave the cactus Pokemon some of his food, and was repaid with a painful hug. He soon learned that this Cacnea was an outcast due to its constant displays of affection, and decided to add him to his team out of pity.
Other
Attached to Needle's left arm by means of a brown leather sash is a brown rock with yellowish spikes coming from it. It seems to affect the environment, extending the duration of any sandstorm he may summon.
He's in the Great Ball.
-Helen the Cloyster-
Height: 4'11''
Weight: 292.1 pounds
Gender: Female
Preferred Attacks
Surf, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Ice Shard
Non-standard attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutor)
Surf, Torment, Ice Beam
Skills
Helen has a very tough shell. So much so, that it can actually block a critical hit, she will never be hit by one. This is how her "Shell Armor" ability manifests itself.
Personality
Sometimes Helen wonders how the team managed to survive so long without her. She generally plays the role of the "only sane man", and is usually the one to end fights between Leah and Neon, often by freezing both on the spot. (Windy complains about the water left on the floor after Rei defrosts them)
Capture History
Windy caught Helen when she was a Shellder. He had been exploring the Seafoam Islands, hoping to catch a glimpse of the legendary Articuno. Instead, he found that his hand had been clamped by a Shellder, and after much panicking, had to catch the damn clam to get it off.
Other
Attached to Helen's top-right spike is a craggy rock shaped a bit like a yellow crown. This adds a bit of extra punch to her attacks, usually disorienting the opponent off-guard so that they can't move right. It is known as a "King's Rock" in her world.
She's in the Dive Ball.
-Mach the Gabite-
Height: 4'07''
Weight: 123.5 pounds
Gender: Female
Preferred Attacks
Dragon Claw, Earth Power, Fire Blast, Slash
Non-standard attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutor)
Earth Power, Fire Blast, Toxic, Aerial Ace, Protect, Iron Tail
Skills
In a sandstorm, Mach seems to give off a strange powder. This powder obscures her form and makes her harder to hit. This is how her "Sand Veil" ability manifests itself.
Personality
Mach is very, very shy and insecure. She's always doubting her abilities, doesn't recognize her own strength, and is prone to accidentally hurting somebody. If she did accidentally hurt somebody, she'd be total sweetheart towards them. She actually enjoys Needle's hugs, because to her, it means that she is loved.
Capture History
Mach was actually owned before being caught by Windy. Her original trainer cared only for power, and knowing how powerful Garchomps are, caught Mach as a Gible. She received no love from him, and was brutally trained day and night. However, Mach did not live up to his high standards, and was released. Eventually, she ran into Windy, and while he too, was interested in the Garchomps' power, accepted her onto the team to raise her with a loving hand.
Other
Tied around Mach's neck is a light blue scarf. While it looks like what is known as a "Choice Scarf", it is actually there to cover a particularly nasty bruise. Worn under the scarf is what appears to be a bell made out of a shell, the attaching string hidden under the scarf. It seems to chime whenever she scores a hit, restoring her hit points by a fraction of the damage inflected, and is known as a "Shell Bell" in her world.
Other (Windy's Pokemon):
For whatever reason, the Island's auto-translate feature does not work on Windy's Pokemon. They say their names as usual. However, animals, other Pokemon, and those who can communicate with animals can understand them.
Windy's Pokemon can use their attacks in any non-league sanctioned fight, though they each have their preferred set of four attacks, and Windy has to remember the attacks in order to give a command to use them.
