(Music For The Occasion

This music sounds so sad, but at the same time, insane... just like Felix.)
When he landed, a storm had hit Void City. The sound of thunder filled the skies and rain was pouring, covering the concrete grounds and streets with water that would drain down into the sewers through grates strategically placed to prevent flooding. Where he landed, however, was a danger zone, yet he didn't care, especially in his current situation. It was all over. His anger had washed over him and he had ruined everything. Then, the worst part... he forgot why he had even done all that horrible stuff in the first place. It had all been for Edd. It had been to try and protect him, but it had been out of jealousy and foolishness. Then the anger... the shame... it had all been too much for him and, in his loss of self, he had insulted the one who had given him everything. He was stripped of it all. Friends, love, companionship, loyalty, compassion, kindness, everything that had made him who he was. It was all lost in that one moment, leaving nothing more then an empty shell and a monster that deserved to die.
Staggering across the alleyways, he finally found himself falling to his knees and pounding the floor. Tears, concealed by the pain, were streaming down his face, but it was evident the way he was crying by the way he screamed. His crying was not the cliche movies used to make characters seem sexy. His eyes were getting all puffy and red like a child and he was snivelling like a child. "Please... somebody... tell me why... Why do I have to suffer this?!"
He was suddenly aware of a new shock of pain. His face felt crushed and he fell back. He was aware of a warm liquid running down his nose. By the texture and taste... it was blood. Lightning flashed and he ended up seeing the white-haired man who had made himself known time and time again as his lord and savior, his father, his creator, the mighty benevolent king. But God did not look peaceful now. No, the time for kindness was long past. Instead, he took on his persona from ages past. The ruler of the Old Testament could be seen here as God's eyes were full of hatred and rage. He bent down and picked Felix up by the throat, holding him in the air before slamming him into the wall. Before he could catch himself, another slam to the face, courtesy of God's almighty fist, sent him crashing back to the ground. He clutched himself, the pain overtaking him, but he was picked him again and slammed down once again. Then he was not even picked up. His face was stomped upon. Pain was upon him, yet it was not destruction. God wanted to teach him something. God was going to give him a chance for forgiveness or else it would've been over with.
But God didn't intend to make it so simple. "Why do you have to suffer? After all you've done, you have the gall to ask such a question?! You have betrayed me, Felix, and my word of love! Not only did your insubordination lead to the death of a fellow angel, but you could not even keep to the sole purpose of your defiance and insanity! You have severely wounded Edward, whose light is purest of all angels, and you have left him without hope! Need I remind you the only reason I let you stay here as Edwin's Guardian Angel when you earned your wings back was to be with him, Edward, the one you loved so much and gave your life for?!"
"Then let me give my life again!" Felix yelled. "I don't care. Everything... hurts. My mind... my soul... I hurt him... I HURT HIM! I DIDN'T WANT TO HURT HIM!" Felix picked himself up again and fell against the wall, his head slamming against it. "That was the only thing I cared about, the only thing I came to care for... And I failed! Now... even he... I'm all... I don't want to lose him! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HIM! Please... please..."
"No Felix. For once, you have no chance. You will never get Edward back. You do not deserve his love. I'm fed up with you. All this time, you've gotten away with everything on a silver platter because you were my 'Chosen' one. Now... even I cannot overlook your actions. This is your punishment..." God sighed, facepalming. "How I want to say that and tell that to you, letting your heart rip apart as punishment... but it would go against my moral code and my ethnic being."
Felix looked up at God. "So... you'll..."
"I will do nothing except punish you," God said. "It will be up to you to seek forgiveness, but now it will not be so easy..." With that, God seemed to vanish, but his voice, now uncomprehendable to the human brain, yet ever heard by Felix, spoke with his actual omniscience and power. "I say to thee, Felix, that thou shalt never knowst love or companionship. Hate and scorn will follow thee from everywhere you go. As enemies assault thee, so too shall friend rebuke thee. You will be hated by all and loved by no one. Thou shalt learn to embarace loneliness and bare hatred. Thou shalt learn to be kind to those even when they bare ill will towards you. Only when you, Felix, can learn to love the world and all those that want you dead... that is the only time you will earn forgiveness."
"... ... ... I... accept the terms of your punishment," Felix said. "Nothing... matters... anymore... except getting Edward back."
"Then it is done," God said, and so it would be. "You know what you must do. And be warned that I will not help you. Should you fall and die, I will send you straight to Hell." With that, God vanished, leaving the empty shell of an angel to start his hard path towards forgiveness.
