Note: This is an official transfer of ownership from B Gal to Nintendonut1 of the character Triple D. However, even though here he will be under a different name and form, he is the same character.
Also, I’m gonna try and do this app Mugen style, ‘cause there’s gonna be lots of information. XD
Full Name: Fusion Edd
Nicknames: Fusion Double D, Triple D
Physical/Mental Age: 16
Actual Age: About 1 year
Height: Slightly taller than his human counterpart
Weight: Heavier than he looks
Gender Synthesized Male
Alliance: Evil (for now)
Franchise: Fusion Fall (though he is based off an established character, he is considered an AU OC of the fan fiction “Triple D”)
Race: Fusion
Fusion are an amorphous race of aliens from a distant galaxy, believed to date back thousands of years ago. Not much is known about their initial creation, but accepted theories state that Fusion are incapable of creating their own energy, so when they consumed their home planet, they began to absorb the planets in their own system. Since the Fusion Matter they are made up of is toxic in most habitable atmospheres, eliminating the races inhabiting each planet was no trouble at all. In fact, each planet absorbed gave Planet Fusion increased gravity, power, and internal energy.
When one of the more sentient of the mostly bacteria-like Fusion noticed this, he united the race and drove the force of conquest through the universe. He became their lord and master, creator and determinant of how the Fusion Matter was spread. Overtime, Planet Fusion has become a feared name throughout the cosmos as it continues to absorb world after world.
Initially, upon approaching a new world to conquer, Fusion Spawn are sent to the planet in Terrafusers. They are sent to gather information about the planet, and they sample everything to create an army of distorted creatures. Most bond to and animate common inanimate objects, from buzzsaws to bulldozers. The Terrafusers act as teleportation and respawning pods; as long as they have contact with Planet Fusion, which has an abundant source of Fusion Matter, Fusion can continue to spawn from them. Of course, they are also toxic to the environment, and if they concentration of Fusion Matter is high enough, the area generally becomes primordial soup which distorts the area’s gravity and creates floating platforms out of the flotsam leftover (for example, in the beach area, boat sails and surfboards became floating platforms).
Fusion can even duplicate advanced life forms. Their process of duplication involves parasitically attacking foreign cells and duplicating their mitochondrial DNA into a new cell, like a virus. This process takes more Fusion Matter, and they need a sample of the original’s DNA. Obviously, constant duplication of cells result in deterioration, so the clones are never perfect replicas, but instead twisted versions of the originals.

Fusion Edd’s origins are obviously in Planet Fusion. But since he has Earthling DNA as well, as much as he’d hate to admit it… technically Earth is too.
In this dimension, this Earth contains most of the Cartoon Network Universe. Highlighter characters are from Dexter’s Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Codename: KND, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ben 10, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Megas XLR, Juniper Lee, Johnny Bravo, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, Secret Saturdays, Chowder, Flapjack, and Toonami.
Physical Description[/u]
Fusion Edd, like all Fusion clones of the Cartoon Network officers, is a flawed duplicate of Edd Double D, synthesized from the DNA on one of his stolen hats. The human is a lanky, pale-skinned teenager typical to a suburban neighborhood. His rounded face is often crowned with a bright smile, his sapphire eyes reflecting endless kindness. Most of his dark grey hair is pulled back into long-tailed ski cap, giving him the affectionate nickname “Sockhead.” He normally wears an orange, yellow-sleeved tee shirt, denim violet shorts, long red socks and blue sneakers.
Though Fusion Edd looks roughly the same… don’t be fooled. His “skin” is a toxic green color, and continuously shifts like liquid. His “clothing” is dark in color, and synthesized by his own Fusion Matter; they’re a part of his makeup, though they can still be torn. His “teeth” are yellowed and sharp, and his eyes are glowing red orbs that reflect perfect madness.
Weapons[/u]
Fusion Edd, by definition, has absolutely no reason to keep any weapons on him; that need, he was taught, is a part of the Earthlings’ weakness. But that doesn’t mean he’s above using a loose pipe to bash someone over the head or kicking sand in their face. Whatever gets the job done.
Abilities/Powers[/u]
Fusion Edd inherits the powers of his creator, Lord Fuse. In his synthesized body, he is given enhanced strength, agility, and overall fighting prowess. Most importantly is his lack of empathy; when you engage him in battle, do not expect him to hold back, or cease to kick your ass until he is CERTAIN you are down for the count.
Other abilities include telepath communication with other Fusion, since all Fusion are linked together under a single source of creation. Also, if he chooses to, he can make his skin toxic upon contact. It would be impractical if he was like that all the time, though, so it’s triggered on and off at will instead.
Fusion Edd once had the ability to change his state of form into a gas, in which he used to possess his human counterpart. Since his re-synthesis, however, this ability, deemed useless in its testing, was stripped from him. He has instead been given a new power to test; if he manages to inflict an open wound on his target, he’ll leave Fusion Matter residue which will enter the target’s bloodstream. The Fusion Matter will infect the target and birth a new breed of Fusion minions from a more stable, human host.
(OOC: Don’t worry, I do not plan to have him abuse this power.)
Skills[/u]
Fusion Edd specializes in getting things done in the most crude, underhanded way possible. Hell, his first task involved purposely getting his human self almost in deep trouble. Whatever does the most damage, that’s his style.
He also tends to be stealthy when needed; he loves catching unsuspecting targets off guard with a blow from behind.
Personality[/u]
Fusion clones are created in the exact opposite of their human originals, and Fusion Edd is certainly no exception. He is rude, crass, inhumanely cruel, and very quick to anger. He is extremely full of himself, and the fact that he’s been re-synthesized repeatedly only reinforces his sense of self-importance. He often feels he should put in charge of the Fusion forces, as opposed to that stupid Fusion Dexter or that Fusion Ben retard.
He still has a trace of the intelligence of Edd, but it’s more of a clever and manipulative nature, like that of an alley cat. He definitely has more street smarts as opposed to book smarts, especially after his month’s time as Triple D. His lack of care for any others besides himself allow him to bend anyone to his will, usually through a combination of brute force and pure fear. He takes great, borderline sick pleasure in watching pain and fear grace the faces of his victims.
However, in stark contrast, he has an overpowering loyalty to his Lord Fuse. Most Fusion do, it’s engraved into their core that Fuse is their creator and all orders must be followed unquestioningly. Fusion Edd will do anything that will please Fuse… and climbing his officer ranks is a bonus.
History[/u]
In its everlasting conquest of the cosmos, Planet Fusion descended upon Planet Earth. Immediately, their Fusion Spawns began to wreck havoc on the denizens below, while the Terrfusers they spawned from infected the surrounding areas at a rate much more alarming than any earth-born radiation.
Mojo Jojo and his army of simian minions were the first to act… and of course, this arrogant move was met with strong resistance, forcing a retreat and enraging humiliation. Dexter McPherson, the young genius owner of Dexlabs, was the first to act SMARTLY, working first to importantly quarantine all of the heavily infected areas first. As the invasion began, Dexlabs established communications with several facilities that were willing to help in the war effort to hold back the Fusion. Such groups included the Kids Next Door, the Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home, SACT, the Plumbers, and reluctantly even villainy associations such as Delightful Developments, Mojo Jojo, and even… *shudder* …Mandark Industries.
In little time, the war effort was in full swing. Under the supervision of Numbah 5 and Ben Tennyson, all potential young-age soldiers were recruited into the effort, to fight off the Fusion monsters as long as they could, while scientific brilliant minds like Dexter, Mandark, Mojo Jojo, and Professor Utonium work to discover ways to destroy the Fusion at their source; Planet Fusion and Lord Fuse.
That was all well and fine, but what about those who couldn’t fight? Since no Terrafusers landed nearby, the Cul-de-Sac at the end of Peach Creek Commons wasn’t attacked until after the initial start of the invasion, and most of the children were wise enough to escape in time. The Eds were the only ones left in an abandoned neighborhood before it was invaded by the Fusions, fused to the power saws and bulldozers from a nearby construction site. Running for their dear lives, the Eds were swept up by the Kids Next Door, who feverishly worked to control the infection in that area while the Eds were taken to the Sector V Treehouse until their homes would be safe to return to.
Edd overheard Numbah 1 discussing with other officers that they lacked a base of operations in the northeastern Suburb division, and that journeys to Blackhead Mountain were too far and too risky. Edd then nervously stepped up and offered their Cul-de-sac, once free of contamination, as a base in that area. He already had schematics of a cardboard fortress in the works for such an occasion. Numbah 1 agreed, and much to Edd’s surprise, the boy was placed in charge of the construction of the fortress AND its main commander once the facility was up and running. He worked feverishly, along with the help of Ed, the Urban Rangers, and several volunteers, and surprisingly, the fortress keeps the Fusions out just fine! It quickly became a pivotal access point for refugees and trainees alike, and Edd had run it so flawlessly that he was given the prestigious title of Guide, acting in an advisory role to trainees who chose him above Dexter, Ben, or Mojo. Trainees tended to come to him more for his personal care and the ease of meeting him in person to discuss tactics.
Overtime, Fusion Clones were being spotted in various locations. The first was of Samurai Jack in the Darklands, and many began popping up in batches throughout the land, festering in underground lairs oozing with the Fusion Matter that threatened to choke the planet. They each did their part to cause havoc on the Earthling forces; Fusion Blossom even attempt to steal Edd’s blueprints for his Thingamajig and attempt an attack on the fortress!
Edd’s Fusion clone appeared in a fit of misunderstanding. Father, the owner of Delightful Developments, had stormed into the fortress in a fit of rage (as usual) and accused Edd of running amuck in his construction sites and sabotaging machinery and various projects. Terribly dismayed, Edd sent in a group of trainees he helped Guide to investigate. They discovered the hidden security footage, and upon looking it over, it was determined that not Edd, but an imposter, was causing the havoc.
The trainees ventured further in and located a Fusion lair, venturing inside its dark depths and destroying the Fusion monsters that guarded it. The last chamber was at first deemed empty… until Fusion Edd leaped from a dark corner in the wall and descended upon them. The fight was brutal. Fusion Edd was a terrible force to behold; sneaky, manipulative, and so very strong… Everything Edd wasn’t. Still, he was defeated by the trainees, and most figured that was that.
But part of Edd knew better. Call it premonition or paranoia, but it had been plaguing his mind ever since. To ease his fears, one night he left the fortress with his little companion dog Courage in tow, and investigated the Infected area himself. Upon finding nothing in his search, he was just about ready to head back home in relief before he was jumped from above by exactly the being he had feared to find.
Fusion Edd had been re-synthesized… and for a very important mission. As the war dragged on and on, Fuse was always trying new tactics based on the versatile nature of Fusion as he gathered more biological information on the Earthlings. This new tactic would not only remove a key member from the resistance, but also possibly open the path for countless more… therefore, Fusion Edd did what he was instructed to do with much delight, changing shape, invading Edd’s body, and effectively possessing it.
Thus, Edd, leader of operations in Peach Creek and loyal Guide to countless agents, was labeled MIA, and Triple D, Downtown Townsville thug and peerless fighter, was born. Inside the boy’s body, Fusion Edd built a new persona with dark clothing, an intimidating trench coat, sharp sunglasses that always hid his eyes, and one rotten attitude. He won every scrap he got into with countless Downtown thugs, and his reputation grew in only the span of one month.
He effectively stayed under the radar until he approached his first target: Belladonna. The punker girl hanging out with the Gangrene Gang was in truth Buttercup, having been lost at sea in a battle with Mojo Jojo a year previous. He tried to play off her amnesia to get her to join the Fusion side of the battle; after all, her powers would have been extremely useful to turn the tides. However, the combined efforts of the KND, the Powerpuff Girls, and Dexlabs got to her first. She regained her memory and was immediately commissioned into the Earthling resistance force.
Enraged by his lost prey, “Triple D” tried to make amends by trying to do the same for Gangrene leader Ace. What he wasn’t aware of, however, was that finding Buttercup had put the Earthling forces right on his trail. Looking over footage of him and comparing it to their missing Guide, it didn’t take long for them to put two and two together. Most of the head officers, as well as Edd’s best friends, Ed and Eddy, met Triple D downtown, exposed him, and fought to capture him.
He was formidable, as expected; it was surprising for them to meet such power inside the body of such a scrawny teenager. They initially thought that Fusion Edd had been the source of power, but upon analysis later, it was determined that he had nothing to do with it, only with relinquishing all self-restriction. All Fusion Edd had control over where neurons in the hindbrain that controlled physical movement; that also meant Edd was aware of his surroundings while his Fusion continued to manipulate him. Edd would constantly fight back for dominance, but Fusion Edd kept him down.
This fight was the breaking point; Edd finally managed to break through and beg his friends to help him. With his interference, he was successfully brought down and hauled back to Dexlabs. Through a liquidation process (that same name is given to the process Fuse uses to break his Fusion minions back down into Fusion Matter when they failed him, so naturally, Fusion Edd was terrified), Dexter and Professor Utonium were successful in extracting him from Edd’s brain, freeing him from the prison of possession. Returning home, he was met with joy by all his friends and agents alike, and was quickly reinstated as commander of the cul-de-sac fortress.
Meanwhile, Dexter had kept Fusion Edd’s liquefied state in a smaller part of his lab, intending to analyze it further to understand this new tactic he had been unaware of. However, his lab would be broken into by a shadowy, greener version of himself. Along with that section of the lab being trashed, Fusion Edd’s sample had been stolen. Obviously, Fuse wasn’t done with Fusion Edd yet. That, or he seemed the properButt Monkey guinea pig for enacting new tactics.
Fuse learned of Dimensional Island through accounts in Dexter and Mandark’s log data. It’s in a separate dimension, so Fuse hasn’t planed to include the island in his universal conquest (yet…), but it was still an abundant source of power he could use to help his conquest of Earth. So he re-synthesized Fusion Edd and sent him to this gap between dimensions on a mission… and with a new ability.
According to Fuse, Earth has put up the longest fight any planet they've attempted to conquer has put up, and his theory is that his subordinates, by taking up human DNA, have been affected by the adaptation, making them "more incompetent." Fuse's idea to rectify this is to try to reverse the adaptation; create Fusion minions from human hosts. Fusion Edd has been given the ability to give this kind of infection, and once fully infected, has ordered to bring back to Fuse and repeat the process again for more powerful “heroes.”
Needless to say, Fusion Edd was more than willing to obey. He was delighted. He was honored. He’d do anything for his Lord Fuse. And if he got to make someone suffer too? Bonus.
With that, Fuse launched him into a synthesized portal to carry out his will… unaware of his full intentions…
