Full Name: Pepsci
Nicknames: Hades
Age: 11
Height: 4'11'' (a bit small since he's still growing)
Weight: ? (very, very lightweight)
Gender: Male
Race: Haunter
Alliance: True Neutral (with Chaotic and Good tendencies)
Home: Johto region
Franchise: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Physical Description: Hades coloring is vastly different than a normal Haunter's, though it could be explained as him eating very large quantities of Red and Yellow Apricorns, as he is a bright and somewhat eye-hurting shade of orange. He's also a bit small, but it can easily be explained that he's still growing to his full size. He always has a red "Zinc Band" from his home world tied around his head, and it seems to slightly help in his ability to take special attacks.
Weapons: ...
Abilities/Powers: His attacks;
*Shadow Punch- A punch from the shadows that hardly misses.
*Hypnosis- Employing hypnotic suggestion to make an opponent fall asleep.
*Sucker Punch- Attacking an opponent just as they ready an attack.
*Mean Look- A dark look that prevents the foe from fleeing.
*Explosion- A massive explosion that also seriously damages the user.
Hades floats in the air, like any good ghost does. This offers him an immunity to any attack that only affects the ground. However, he is only as likely to be struck by lightning as anybody else, something very few flying creatures can claim. This is how his "Levitate" ability manifests itself.
Skills: Hades favorite pastime is pulling pranks on people, and he's quite good at it. They range from the harmless (like moving something slightly off to the side) to the ones you'll want to smack him for (like blowing up in somebody's bag) to the truly odd ones (like stealing everybody's left shoes but not their right ones). Basically, if you need a guy to prank somebody, just call Hades.
Personality: As mentioned in the "Skills" section, Hades loves to pull pranks. It isn't unusual since he's a Haunter, but he seems to take it to the next level. He seems to go out of his way to do such pranks, and it pays off in the end with lots of laughter for him.
Hades sees the world through a pair of rose-colored glasses. He always looks to the bright side of things, and is a very upbeat and cheerful person. It's not uncommon to find him singing a song about some totally random things.
Hades also likes to explode, much to his teammates' dismay. This has landed him in trouble numerous times, usually making his teammates (usually Carol or Poseidon) mumble something about "that supposedly used TM 64".
History: Hades didn't have a name at birth. His parents thought he was to do whatever the ghost version of dying was at a very young age, and left him to do that. He was a Sprout Tower-born Pokemon, and he found great pleasure in harassing the local Rattata and monks, up to the point to where he was forced out by the former. How old was he? Just a few months.
He found a new place on a local route just south of the city, where he bumped into an abnormally tiny Spearow that was six years old, named Hawk, and was introduced to Hawk's buddy, an albino Gyarados one year older then him, named Flip. It was here that the young Gastly got his name- Pepsci.
He awoke one morning two years later to Hawk screaming, and the smell of something roasting. It turns out Hawk had just startled a young Vulpix, who didn't have a family. Flip welcomed her to the "family", and that was the end of that. Her name? Violet.
Pepsci was out on a stroll one year after that, when he saw a band of Crawdaunts. He pulled some kind of prank involving a rock, a "grass bomb" and a giant tree branch on them. However, he was caught, and eventually beat down on them. Pepsci swore that he was gonna die there...
However, his savior came in the form of a green Chikorita a few years older than him. With a powerful Leaf Storm attack, two of the three Crawdaunts were fought off, but one stood strong. The Chikorita's neck was clamped tightly in its pincers, bleeding. It would have been his end, had Pepsci not regained his strength and lulled the Crawdaunt to sleep with Hypnosis. Pepsci then panicked, and signaled to Violet to help. The Chikorita was in need of serious medical attention.
The Chikorita later woke up, thanks to herbs found by Hawk and water splashed up by Poseidon. Pepsci was the first thing he saw, and was quickly introduced to his friends, Hawk, Flip and Violet. he said his name was Leafslash, and he decided to stay with them, figuring he owed them.
That lasted only one year. He was only five when he heard news of a gang of Pokemon lead by a Skarmory was passing through the area, and wouldn't take well to anyone who got in their way. While Pepsci fled the area. he soon noticed Leafslash was missing. Violet left, and returned with a fainted and injured Leafslash. She said that the Skarmory had a wooden leg, and was stunned from an eye injury. Hawk decided that the best place would be somewhere else.
He led the small group to a park, where Leafslash finally woke up. Flip explained that their home was completely devastated, and that they had to run. This was the closest area that could support all of them, so it had to do. Leafslash decided they would be safer if they were closer, and thus, came the birth of Team Mythos. During their time in the park, Pepsci found great delight in playing pranks on one Scyther in particular.
Two years went by, and by now Flip had evolved into a Gyarados... meaning they had to find a larger place to support the newly-evolved sea serpent. Leaving under the cover of the night, they failed to notice a Scyther following them. They settled down near the Lake of Rage, more than big enough to support Flip. They thought they had seen enough for one lifetime.
But alas, that same Scyther just had to appear, wanting revenge for a prank Pepsci had pulled on her a while back. While she tried to fight the Gastly alone, the team, led by Leafslash, declared that if she wanted to hurt one of them, she'd have to hurt them all. She knew she was beat, and surrendered. Leafslash, to everybody's surprise, forgave her, and asked her to stay. This Scyther, named Carol, was equally surprised, but decided she had nothing better to do.
Pepsci suddenly awoke to a Thunder attack crashing down, and to a shocked Leafslash. He explained that they had to run away, and to change their names for safety. Pepsci, now eight, was now Hades; Flip, now fifteen, became Poseidon; Hawk, now fourteen, was now Hermes; Carol refused to change her name because he had not been seen; and Leafslash became Apollo. Violet, who was ten at the time, changed her name to Aries.
After two years of running around, the team settled down in the Hoenn region, close to the sea. On this long journey, Apollo had evolved into a Bayleef, and Hades into a Haunter. Just as they were settled down and built a base, they noticed a Manectric appear before them, this one looking almost black and white, and quite muscular. Expecting another attack, they made a preemptive strike on him. After a series of "yeows", he eventually said he came in peace, and that he was named Zeus. He offered himself to the team. Apollo realized that this had to be the one that saved him from the Skarmory two years ago, and telling the team that he was a friend, accepted Zeus onto the team.
It was a cold winter night, when the team was bundled up together for warmth in their base, when there was a massive earthquake. The ground below them started to sink into portals, and one by one, all seven of them were swallowed up, and spit out onto the Dimensional Island.
Other: The Island's auto-translate feature works on him.
