"... Urgh... I hate to admit it... but this place is already giving me the creeps..." Aries said to herself, looking at the entrance to this forest. Let's do the checklist for untrustworthy places, shall we?
Nighttime? Check.
Large space? Check.
Minimal light? Check.
Mysterious disappearances? She wasn't so sure, but Aries was certain that was a yes.
Hermes ducked into Blade's hair, trying to make himself appear even smaller, less visible. He knew that while his "Keen Eye" ability, in addition to granting him immunity to accuracy-lowering moves, also bestowed to him excellent vision, it was only true during the day.
"I don't want to be here... birds like me have terrible night vision..."

And while Hermes was doing that, Blade was doing similiar behind Aries almost. Unfortunately that didn't work half as well anyways.
"I... It's kinda creepy..." Blade stuttered out quietly as his eyes darted around a bit. He didn't take notice of a lot of things, but then a sudden wind blew in bringing him the chills as his teeth chattered slightly to that reaction of the wind gacefully going across his fur coat.
He looked about as the rustling noises were loud and swift, but he could almost see a figure dart past the trees fast.
He blinked..... no it couldn't be. It had to be his imagination.
"A-aries ... D-do we have to go in...?" Blade then questioned nervous as ever.Then, came a loud rustling noise from the bushes.

Aries gave a small shudder the the figure, but shook it off. She had to be brave, she HAD to be brave. They say predators can smell fear in their prey- COURAGE DAMNIT!!
"YES!! We HAVE to go in there! Blade, just shut up and follow me!"
Looking forward for a few seconds, Aries took the first step into the woods with a shaky paw.

A Giant cloud of dust appeared in front of Aries as something big seemed to jump down from nowhere.
"MEEEP!" Blade squealed almost as he hid behind Aries frightneed for his life again.
A moment of a silence, until.
"HHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
If one's eyes adjusted, they could see what looked likea spoink that looked happy as ever with a giant Clamperl perched on her head. And that the spoink was indeed a female and rather ditzy looking.
".....Penny?"

Now it was Aries' turn to hide behind Blade. Whatever the hell that was, it was as scary as hell, and BIG. Must not show fear must not show fear must not show fear...

Aries poked her head out from over Blade's shoulder, and she could barely make out the form of what appeared to be... a female Spoink with a Clamperl on its head?
... Okay, that's just downright bizarre.
"Blade... who is this weird girl...?"

Blade gave a sigh of relief then looking at the spoink and her clamperl as the.... weird spoink bounced around in a rather giddy fashion.
How did she bounce off those tree branches so easily?
Gah, wait that isn't what he was focusing on.
"ER... the spoink is part of my brother's team. Team Nightflames. One of the few members... Her name's Penny, and the Clamperl on her head is.... well who she named as Stephanie for some reason. Your answer is as good as mine." Blade responded sweatdropping at the giddy pokemon.
"So what are you guys doing in a place like these~?" Penny hten exclaimed happily bouncing down to ground level in front of them with a smile. Apparently she was clearly unaware that the question could reflect off her too. But then again she was probably a legal nut so it doens't really apply.

And people claim Hades is nuts, thought Aries, sweatdropping at the sight of the nutcase of a Spoink with the Clamperl on her head in front of her. Also, she, Blade and Hermes- who didn't really count at the moment- had a reason to be here. This Penny girl didn't.
"Answer my question. What are YOU doing here?" Aries asked, turning Penny's question on her, clearly weirded out of her mind.
Hermes' head poked out of Blade's hair, wondering just what was going on.
If looks could make people go insane, then the Spearow would have been committed to the asylum in about two seconds when he saw Penny and Stephenie.

Penny then smiled very disturbingly happy before starting to hop up and down fairly small. Warm up jumps they looked like
"Well,
Whyyyyy"
And with this she crouched on the ground and suddenly sprungs upwards up above the trees and higher.
"NOT?"
And thus they lost sight of the spoink, confustion may fly around at the time as Blade sighed.
"Eh..... she'll be back... Penny's a bit of a nutcase, but hey. She's at least nice." Blade then said with a sweatdropping smile looking over to Aries.

Aries gave a weird look in response, with a huge sweatdrop to top it off. She was officially weirded out, and she was certain that the Spoink was a qualified nutjob.
"... You know some crazy people."

From Blade's hair came the voice of a certain runt of a bird.
"She has issues man."

Blade then sweatddropped at Hermes' words as well as Aries'.
He was sweatdroppign so much, he'd probabl be seen as sweating, but nonetheless he realized what they said were true.
"Hey... at least they aren't the other two from the team. Urgh, they'd probably explode and make a mess of things..." Blade then spoke sighing. Penny was at least positive, and the duo he refered to? That was Keith and Kole. Or Destuction Duo as the majority called them. Not exactly Blade's favorite friends.
It seemed Penny was coming back down any time soon. Was she riding a cloud or something? Eh, we'll find out at some point whenever she comes back...... if she comes back.
Weird pig can do lots of things.

"Oh, never mind... let's just get on with the mission..." came the high voice of the Spearow from atop Blade's head.
... Whatever the mission was in the first place.

"Urm... Aries so what are... we gonna do then...?" Blade then asked the vulpix shyly nontheless. Regardless of the events of reuniting with one of his more odd friends he was slightly afraid of entering the woods.
Where WAS that pig?
Well then again asking himself wouldn't get him any answers.

Come to think of it, Aries herself wasn't sure of what their mission was in the first place. Hermes was equally stumped.
So the Vulpix made one up off the top of her head.
"We need to try and find... any traces of your brother or my teammates."

Somewhere else in the forest, deeper in, two figures stirred. They were near what appeared to be a house in the middle of the woods, a house that seemingly had been ransacked.
One resembled a long-necked dinosaur, with leaves around its neck and one on its head. It had a black band around its neck, and what looked like a silver egg with wings on its head leaf.
The other was an orange ghost of some sort. It looked rather young, and around what looked like its head it wore a red tied headband.
A voice come from the orange one.
"Hey Appy, where are we?"
A second voice came from the leafy dinosaur.
"I don't know, Hades."

Blade's ears perked at this, he never recalled that being the mission, but then again what DID he recall. A Simple shrug was all it took as he looked back to Aries. She seemed to calm him down the way she spoke at least, it felt better that way.
"I... guess we should make a move on then." Blade then replied quietly as he started to make way into the woods. Quite literally he didn't feel as scared as before. MAybe it was a new feeling a courage? Hopefully. If anything that was what he needed.

A Few mays into the forest falling down onto the forest ground causing loud rustling from the top of hte trees came a rather giddy pig. the one from earlier. She was nowhere near any of the kids, and frankly unsure where she was.
"oopsies..! Looks like he jumped too high Stephanie! I guess IT's time ot adventure more~!" PEnny exclaimed ever so happily
Yes, she was definetly a legal nutcase.

If that pig came too close to her, she wouldn't hesitate to serve up roast pork.
Hermes poked his head out of Blade's hair, as if trying in vain to find any light to see. If there was enough, he'd start seeing clear as day again.
... Not enough.
