"Huff huff... This is the closest way outta that forest... huff huff... looks like some kinda mountain..." Zeus said, jumping out of a hole in the trees that had blocked their path. He gazed up, and then seemed to suppress a snicker.
"Hey Poseidon, feel any smaller now?"
The albino Gyarados simply frowned was he cleared his own way out of the trees, clearly having heard that remark.
"Don't try your luck, Zeus."

"Nnregh.... you're heavy...."
This was given from a rather disgruntled Pikachu as Raikougai climbed out of the forest, with Enkaiken whom looked like he was clamped onto his back.
"Sorry Rairai...I get tired easily...!"
"Enkaiken, if I remember right you ran up here and back at least 20 times telling US to hurry."
And with this the duo of kids approached Zeus. Although rather slowly since the Totodile's weight challenged Raikougai's back strength as the pikachu still moved pretty fast.
"WE're here..!" Enkaiken then exclaiemd happily, but that was until raikougai just let go of Enkaiken causing the totodile to fall off as he rubbed his back.
"Urgh... my back..." The pikachu muttered rubbing his back as the totodile hopped up.

Zeus place his nose to the ground, as if trying to pick up some scents. He was trying to track down any familiar scent, like Apollo's strangely clean and fragrant one, Hades' smell of different cases, or hell, even Carol's strange smell of bug odors and paint.
So far, he was picking up...
"Zeus, your nose isn't that good."
Poseidon said that out loud, looking rather skeptical of the Manectric's actions. Zeus snorted in response.
"Better my nose than your lack of a nose there."
"... Shut up."

And with that comment, Enkaiken looked at his own snout.... and then tried to feel for his nose. Causing Raikougai to have a facepalm moment.
"So do you smell someone....?" Raikougai then questioned rahter quietly.
"Rairai! I cna't feel my nose!"
"IT's part of your snout"
"But it's not like the others!"
"IT doens't matter, you can smell cna't you?"
"Yeah, but "
"There's your answer"

Sniff, sniff...
Zeus still seemed to be trying to pick up some scents, nose to the ground, his face concentrated. Hmm, he didn't smell freshness, gases or paint, but he definitely smelt Pokemon.
And judging by the strength of the scents, they were probably here recently.
"Any results?" came from Poseidon, who looked rather skeptical. This caused the Manectric to make a snorting sound.
"I smell Pokemon, but they ain't who we're lookin' for. Somethin' reptilian, and three mammals........ Wait... I also smell humans..."

Raikougai's eyes narrowed as he gave a low hiss, but then caught himself then pulling the scarf over his mouth more.
"....tch......"
This was all the pikachu had to say to the words 'humans'
Sweatdropping the totodile then just petted Raikougai.
"Don't be mad Raikougai... maybe they're good humans...?"
"Doubtful"
And with this Enkaiken just gave a saddened look, he knew that the hate against humans Raikougai had was pretty much not able to be cured easily.

Taking note of this conversation he had heard, Poseidon turned from Enkaiken to Zeus, who seemed to be deep in sniffing the ground for more scents.
"Zeus, how old are the scents?"
The Manectric's response was a bit irritated-sounding, but clear.
"They all smell kinda old... something's off about the two human scents, though... one smells like normal attacks... and the other...... smells like... death...?"
"... Explain."

"Please... enlighten us." Raikougai then added in, almost rudely, but then he got smacked upsdie the head by Enkaiken. He then realized how he sounded for that moment and sweatdropped.
"Raikougai, please stop hating things for just a second...!" Enkaiken slightly whined as he then turned to Zeus. Whatever this was it was most likely important.
Raikoguai rubbed the back of his head lightly.
"Sorry..." Was all he mumbled then

"Well, I don't know how to best describe the two human scents all that well... the Pokemon here were a male Feraligatr, a male Blaziken, a male Luxio and a female Luxio..." Zeus said first, wanting to get the obvious scents out of the way first.
"The human that smelt a bit like normal attacks? She didn't smell like a complete human, like there was... I dunno... magic in her or somethin'... the one that I said smelled like death... it was like he had risen from a grave... there's also a bit of fire with him..."
Poseidon made a throat-clearing noise.
"Your point, Zeus?"
"... I'm not sure if those two humans were from our world."

A Little bit of a angered boiled up in Raikougai's mind and soul hearing these together. By the sounds of it he wasn't going to get along with that person just fine hiding his scowl beneath his scarf. That thing was what he buried most of his face in anyways.
Enkaiken blinked as he shook a bit at one of the pkemon Zeus had desribed out. He looked nervous now, his pep dropped by quite an amount and courage fallen.
B-B...Blaziken...?" He asked in hs nervous fashion. It was quite obvious he was scared of that word. Raikougai took notice first, and grasped Enkaiken's hand. When he was nervous, that's wht he usually did to calm him down. He knew of Enkaiken's eternal fear.

"Somethin's also off about that Blaziken's smell... it's like he was altered or mutated... The Feraligatr and Luxios seem normal, though..." Zeus said, finally getting to the end of the smells.
"How was it altered...?" Poseidon asked, curious.
"I dunno how to say it exactly... but it's like... some kinda chemical was forced onto it... and it was given foreign substances..."

Both children felt shivers run up their spines hearing the description to the smell.
Like hell now if EITHER of them went up there!
"Well that doesn't sound frightening at all!"
Stepping out of the shadow was a rather large charizard..... with glasses and he was green to add. An odd combination to spot one might say.
"I see you've also made my leader a teammate. It's nice to meet you." He then added on as the two kids looked back rather surprsied by the rather random entrance of their teamate.

This single word was the reply of Poseidon, who gave his version of a small jump back at the sight of the green, glasses-wearing Charizard. Rather odd how he suddenly appeared, and how he didn't consider those scent description as 'scary' in any way.
And when it came to oversized Pokemon who were quite off in coloration, he would like to say that he came in second!
Zeus' reaction? He simply blinked a few times.
He's seen weirder stuff in the past, you know.
For example, when it came to oversized discolored Pokemon, he knew a certain Gyarados.
"... You know these kids?"

"Quite. They are my team in a sense, but the pikachu you see there is otherwise the leader. My name's Galthro. I just so happened to catch gaze of you guess while flying bye. Do you mind if I accompany you on your small journey Zeus? Since I do note you are bringing along my leader with you along the trip anyways."
Enkaiken was cheerful at the presence of someone else he knew. it cheered up his little totodile heart and lifted his pep level as he smiled happily and nodded looking at Galthro. He was like reaaally weird, but all the more reason for enkaiken to like him.
Raikougai's only response to that was simly a shifting his eyes from Galthro to Zeus. Enkaiken calmed down, and he had done equally as much practically. He reasoned out that if they were to come across suc a blaziken there wouldbe a back up of at least 3 more powerful pokemon. But the mystery of his other two missing teamates still held. Where exactly were they?

With a strange, growling sigh, Poseidon closed his yes and slithered forward a bit. Okay, so this green Charizard- who was named Galthro, apparently- knew the Totodile and Pikachu they were with. Okay, so he wasn't a threat.
Still, he wondered, how did he know Zeus' name?
The Manectric's reaction to the introduction was to reply himself. Still, he seemed a bit... tense?
"... Explain how you know my name, boy. And don't try to duck out of the question either. And for the love of it all, don't claim divinity."
One could say that a rather rough childhood could make one an atheist, so to speak.
