Dippy listened to Mashiro's statements, and silently watched him get the hint. Seeing the advice from the others didn't work, looks like she had to give her advice after all. She silently cleared her throat.

"Well, if you still feel the need to prove thyself," She said, "I do know one way you can."

Though, if her assumptions are correct, it's best that this shall be done outside the church. Don't want to add another semi-tainted memory of this place.

The figure listened silently to this, a bit more interested.

"Wait a sec, mate..." Wally looked a bit confused. "You mean you met up with Felix?"

Metal shook his head. "That... Doesn't surprise me." He rubbed his metallic chin. "I've been reading up on all kinds of terms magical and otherwise that are known on this island. One term that comes up is the term 'Soul Names'." He was likely going to hand out an explanation Double D himself was going to throw out, but hey, he was on a roll. "From what I've read, soul names is rather powerful magic, shared between two lovers, that acts like an amplifier for emotions. Two lovers would share the name between each other, and-"

He noticed the looks.

"I suppose you already know all of that?"

"Pretty much yes." Came Otto bluntly.

Metal was silent a moment. "Well... I shall skip to the point then... Like all magic, the magic of soul names isn't just canceled out due to regular circumstances as a breakup. It's like a ritual you see; all of the parts must be played through. The only way that the breakup is official is for the two lovers to give each other back their soul names. It only makes sense."

Considering this a bit, Wally nodded. "Yeah, I guess it does make sense..." He looked to Double D with a concerned look. "Is that what you met with Felix for?"

Double D bit his lip. Well, so much for keeping that meeting under wraps.

"...it was... accidental," he eventually mumbled, pulling away from Masahiro and slumping on the bench. "I wasn't in any way seeking him out. I had gone to the Angel Spring up the river in attempts to heal my spiritual wounds there... and he found ME."

He sighed. "But yes, Masahiro's correct. Thankfully he didn't beg for forgiveness, and I gave him none. We were both fully aware of the circumstances set before us. After we made the exchange, he left, due to the spring's holy energy bringing harm to him."

He glanced up. "Even so...it was not easy. It still isn't. Felix was a large part of my life on this island, and it's... difficult to let something like that go. Believe me, I'm trying. We've sought you out, Masahiro, for my charge's sake, whom I've been doing a pitiful service for lately.

"Please... for his sake, if no one else's, not even mine... come back with us."

Masahiro looked as Double D explained himself effectively. He hadn't expected the Angel of Light to get into trouble, so he had felt no reason to hold back the information given. Certainly enough, no one held fault against him. Trevor and King, mentally understanding, kept their mouths shut. It was when Dippy spoke that Masahiro turned and looked at her with a piercing gaze. He then sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry, but I really don't know you, so I'd rather not. Besides... life in itsself is my way of proving myself and redemption. Anyone can take the coward's way out when they bear a curse and a past worthy of condemnation, but I've chosen to bear it and live on so that time can test me."

He then looked at Double D. His eyes were not so piercing then, but somewhat relieved and exhausted. "I still have a promise to keep. The promise blinded me to your pain until I was forcefully reminded that I have more then just my lover to think about. But now that I am being asked to keep it, to further spare anymore pain to the world... do you think I would selfishly answer no? I ask of you then Edward..." He smiled softly. "Lead me back home, to where I belong."

Dippy looked towards at Masahiro and smiled at him.

"I understand," She calmly told him.

She felt the side-effects of the place with her powers about to take effect, so her complete knowledge is only left temporary. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

The figure looked on, intentived.

Climber smiled lightly at what Masahiro said, looking quite excited. "Ferris Wheel! Good to hear that, Mr. Masahiro."

"Indeed. It will definately help the mood at the House of Blue Leaves." Metal noted with a nod.

With Masahiro's words, a wide smile spread across Double D's face for the first time since his lover had left him. He had wanted nothing more than understanding, and Masahiro gave him that and more. He knew Masahiro never meant to be intentionally selfish, and the fact that he was aware of this flaw and was working to fix it meant more to the Angel of Light than he could've imagined.

...which was much like what his author felt for the Masahiro's author. ( )

"Masahiro Watanabe... it would be my pleasure." Double D stood with the other angel. "I cannot wait to see Percy's face when you two are reunited."
