Marion giggled, seeming to make little effort in finding a hiding place. Courage, naturally growing worried, hid quickly and close by to see what would happened, and sure enough, his fur stood on end when she seemed to vanish into thin air.

Okay, given Wally was too busy counting to take notice or even look at Marion vanishing into thin air, but seriously? The only person that seemed aware of the small flux of energy was Otto in the other room, whom's closed eye twitched slightly but stayed closed.
Back with Wally, a few seconds later...
"49... 50!" He quickly jumped up with a wide grin. "Okay you two! Ready or not, here comes this fulla mad skillz Wallaby!" And yes, he knew what a Wallaby was. Sue him.
With that weird proclamation out of the way, Wally started to sneak through the house, trying to catch a glimpse of where Kosumu or Marion had gone.
Kosumu himself was hiding in the kitchen, actually standing on the floor, because he didn't want his energy flux's made while flying to catch the 'Fulla Mad Skillz Wallaby' to find him. Once Wally started to sneak to the kitchen, Kosumu tip-toed further along until he snuck out the opposite door, leading to the parlor.
Wally walked into the kitchen with a sneaky expression, "Oh Kosumu..! Marion... Come out, come out, where-ever you are!" He called this out in a rather sing-songy fashion.

Courage started to shake when it dawned on him the Marion had just vanished into thin air. With that, he followed Wally into the kitchen, pulling on his pants and blubbering nonsensiably in urgancy.

Wally took notice of Courage after a few seconds of opening up drawers and the like, after all, drawers were good places for kids to hide. "Huh? What's up Courage?"

Courage babbled to Wally incoherently, jumping up and down, before he popped into his impression-charade, looking a bit like Marion, poofing into thin air, and changing back, whimpering.

Wally took that in a moment, wondering what to make of it... ... ...
After a second, the boy grinned. "Yes I know Marion's hidden Courage. That's the point of Hide and Seek isn't it?" He pat the dog before getting to his feet. "Oh but don't tell me where Marion is if you know boy. That'd ruin the game, now wouldn't it?"
With that said, he walked off deciding to check the Parlor.

Courage stood there with a gawk, eventually whining in frustration and, deciding Wally would be hopeless, went to seek Marion out himself.
Meanwhile, in the parlor, an invisible Marion was keeping herself quiet, wondering the home when she happened upon Otto. She froze for a moment, but then went a little closer, watching him meditate with interest.

"Heeeeelllloooo?"
Marion was likely snapped out of that, but likely not really worried when she saw Wally walk into the room, eyeing everything in the room to find traces of Marion or Kosumu. By that point, Kosumu had climbed up to the rafters above, and Marion was pretty much unseeable by this point.
"Oooooh, Marion! Kosumu! Where are yooooou?" He called out, as he snuck around... Seeing a good hiding spot behind the couch near Otto, he snuck around the boy (Otto noticeably twitching his eye as if he sensed Wally's presence a moment), and looked. Disappointed that he found no-one, he shrugged and snuck past Otto again, heading to the living room.
Thus leaving Kosumu, Marion, and Otto in the room...
After a second, Kosumu jumped down from the rafters, and hovered before hitting the ground. Grinning, he snuck back into kitchen, deciding to make a break for the stairs.
Thus leaving only Marion and Otto in the room...
.......................................................................
..............................................................
Yeah, Otto might NEVER get any meditation done given that he was aware of Marion's presence in the room.

Courage entered the parlor JUST as Kosumu left for the kitchen, missing him entirely and growing more worried by the second. Definitely not wanting to disturb Otto, he quickly left for the living room to try looking there himself.
Marion, meanwhile, braved a few steps closer to Otto, until she plopped down on the floor right in front of him and just stared.

Otto seemed to not notice, sitting stock still in the middle of the room, eyes closed in concentration.
Meanwhile in the Living room, Wally checked around the room, looking behind the couch, the potted plant, the book-case, in the entertainment center, everywhere he could possibly imagine. "Man, these mates are a lot better then I thought." He appeared to think a second, before snapping his fingers. "Hey! Didn't think to check upstairs yet."
As all that went on, Kosumu had made it to the stairs and started climbing up. When Wally voiced his idea, Kosumu was halfway up and decided to go just a bit faster so as to keep ahead of the lightbender, whom was now unknowingly right behind him...
As this all went down, Otto just stayed perfectly still, taking a deep breath as he did.

One would think that after a while, Marion would grow bored with this and seek entertainment in flustering Wally, or by bothering Otto, but such was not the case. In fact, she studied his stance and tried to replicate it, though it was tricky with more stubby legs.
There was just... something about Uncle Otto that piqued her curiosity, now that she was close enough to notice it. She closed her eyes too, and then she knew.
Uncle Otto... she silently spoke to him, like a telepath. You know Daddy's soul name too?

Indeed I do.
It was unsure if that surprised Marion or not, but Otto opened an eye after saying that... And if Marion was looking too, she would see that he was looking DIRECTLY AT HER...
EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS FREAKING INVISIBLE.
What? Think I didn't notice you had been there? Oh I noticed. Not hard to miss someone of your energy signature kiddo, in a room full of air, your pureness sticks out like a sore thumb.
Otto reached down and picked up the invisible Marion, placing her on his lap. He shook his head. What little lady? What is it you find so interesting about me anyways? If you ask me, Wally strikes me as more interesting, he's the life of the party, and flamboyant as one can get... And me? I'm barely a fly on the wall in most situations. Hardly that interesting at all. He rolled his one open eye before closing it again. He then opened both eyes, exiting his meditation. "What strikes me as interesting to you?"

"Awww..." Marion pouted, having been caught. Still, she settled into Otto's lap easily, not squirming as much as much toddlers her age would.
"Mmmmn..." she thought Otto's question over for a while before shrugging. "I'unno." She thought about it again, unaware of any irritation she may have been causing. "I thought only me and Mommy knew his name..."
She pouted almost suspiciously at him, leaning her face close to his. "How d'YOU know it?"

Maybe Otto should have been irritated by the fact that this kid seemed to interrupt his meditation for seemingly no reason at all... But deciding to put it off since she was just a kid, he shook his head with a roll of his eyes...
That was when Marion asked that perfectly innocent, yet still suspiciously asked question. It caught Otto by surprise a bit, but he got over it quite quickly. Perhaps he should have said he didn't know, after all, he hated talking about his own moments of weakness...
Oh well, too late to take it back now.
Otto rolled his eyes in an attempt to regain some illusion of being the irritable kind of cool in the girl's eyes. "If you must know, kiddo... I know his soul name because he knows mine."
He let out an almost pathetic groan, like he LOATHED to tell this story, but continued. "Some time in the past, me, your uncle Wally, and your father went up against this man... This monster of a man. He was powerful, no-one alive can deny that. For a bit, it looked like we were winning the fight." He groaned even more as he went into THIS portion of the story. "Then... That monster figured out mine and your uncle Wally's soul names..."
He decided not to go into his own theories as to how that was possible. After that battle he had formed plenty in an attempt to discover how he had learned them, and prevent it from happening again. "The only one who could possibly fight him then was your father... But thankfully we were saved." He frowned rather flatly. "Mine and Wally's guardian masters, Yin and Yang appeared, wiped our soul names out of his head, and defeated him without mercy... They wanted to wipe our names from your father's memories too."
It was right then that a fond smile appeared on his face. "But instead? Your father shared his soul name with me and Wally." He raised a hand and wiggled his index finger. "He called it a brotherly bond, called us 'Brothers in all but blood'." He shrugged. "So that's why I know your father's soul name kiddo... And why Wally knows it too."

Marion wasn't fooled by Otto's little facade, but took to listening to his story, completely enraptured. She smiled along with him; that sounded like something Daddy would do, alright. No wonder she felt nice and contented around him and Wally, felt very comfortable in his lap; as he was connected to Daddy, so was she, and that gave to them of THEM a little connection too.
"Mmmm...!" She leaned in and gave Otto a hug. "That's a nice story, Uncle Otto."
