Lord Crump stood at the Island's edge waiting. He repeatedly looked at his watch and was looking very impatient.
"Where the HELL is it!?" he shouted impatiently.

Crump didn't seem to notice as he stared off into the void still. He was really starting to get annoyed.

"SANTA LOOK-A..... WHAT!? A DOLL!?!?" Smithy served around before Geno could duck out of sight. "YOU!! What're YOU doing here, puppet-boy!?"
Geno glared deeply, unkind thoughts passing through his mind. "...I could ask you and this weirdo the same thing."

This isn't the University. Where am I? What is this place? Who are those people? Questions raced through Light Yagami's head faster then the words coming out of any of the mouths of the other three. People had been talking games in the University and Light thought he could make out Lord Crump, but he only knew that Crump was a boss monster in some RPG called Paper Mario Legend of the Thousand Year Door. He also knew, due to some old-time gamers, a little about Geno and Smithy, but only that Geno was one of Mario's friends and that Smithy was the big boss. Both came from some old SNES game called Super Mario RPG. He'd have bet L's friend Matt would know something of them, but he was here alone due to some weirdo pushing him through the dimensional rift. Strangely enough, he fell unconcious and woke up out here in the middle of nowhere. Now he found himself staring at the X-Naut, the Santa-Look-Alike, and the Little Wooden Boy all at the same time.

"Yeah, it's none of your business!" Crump spat. He happened to notice Light out of the corner of his eye. "Great! Now we got some random kid joinin' us too! What's your beef huh?"

Light didn't understand the language well, but his eyes narrowed. He's a villain... He deserves to die... I can kill him, but not in front of these other two... And that Santa-wannabe also has to die... But what about the doll... What if he tries to stop me... I need to be careful... I need to find a way to do it without giving myself away.

"You know what? Nevermind. Forget what I said..." Crump turned to look back at the void. A strange noise much like large engines could faintly be heard if everything was silent and there was a small dot of light in the blackness in the distance.

"Yessssss..." Smithy grinned widely as his boot planted itself firmly on Geno's back where he laid on the ground, preventing escape. "Here it comes!"

Light pulled out the Death Note, seeing Geno incapacitated. No time to worry now... I'm going to kill that Santa wannabe right here and right now. One clumsy trip into the void oughta settle it! JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED!
(I'd suggest beating Light up.)

Smithy raised his hammer and slammed it to the ground, sending out a shockwave that knocked Light back quite a distance.
"What a bother..." he guaffawed. When Geno tried to get up again, he simply shoved him back down. "Stay a while, puppet-boy! you'll be the first to feel the pure terror our dreadnaught shall inflict upon this world!"

Light fell back and the Death Note fell out of his hands and near the edge of the world. NO! Can't let it fall! He grabbed it and put it back. I have no choice. I need to leave now! Once I'm gone, I can write Smithy's name in the Death Note along with Crump's since I've seen their faces.
