Holly had to stifle a chuckle, pretending to cough to cover it up. "So... where is this television station?" she asked, still playing dumb.

Cortex sighed; he needed a LOT of patience to deal with this cretin, didn't he? "In the CITY, of course." He brought up the map of Void City he had installed into his Palmcom in his prepartions for this journey. "...ah. South of here, near the cendter of the city."

Holly silently activated her visor, zooming in on Cortex's Palmcom. It quickly scanned the map and entered it in its own database, calculated their position relative to the map, figured out the names of each of the buildings and landmarks, and by voice recognition, had calculated the fastest route to the television station, all before Cortex had finished talking.
"South of here... you don't say." Deciding to mess with him, she scanned the area surrounding the station. Seeing the El Grande Mall, and the food court within, she asked, "Hey, is there anywhere around there we could get something to eat?" She figured that would also help stall him a little. She didn't need his help anymore anyway. Not really. He'd made the mistake of showing her his tech.
Cortex might have been smart, but Foaly, no doubt, was smarter.

Cortex rolled his eyes, swiveling back to her. REALLY, now? They were on the verge of conquest here, and all the simple-minded creature could think about was...
Guuuurgle, grum...!
"...um... ehe..." Cortex coughed, trying to hide the rumbles of a starved stomach, a side effect of dimensional travel. Probably. Yeah. That was it. Haha. "Ahem... there is a food court at the El Grande mall... I believe..."

Holly herself was surprised. She hadn't expected the strange human's stomach to suddenly start growling. Maybe he was just so easy to manipulate even his body responded to her suggestions.
"Well then," she said, "I recommend we go there." She winked at Cortex. "For both of our sakes," she finished, sure she was smiling just as smugly as Artemis.

"...hmph." The brat thought she was so smart... well, hell, at HER height, she couldn't have been any older than a child, really. Annoying child geniuses, thought they were better than him...
In attempts to replenish his dignity, Cortex stood as tall as he could manage and harummped, beginning a rather forced march in the direction of the mall. "THIS way, then! Do try to keep up!"

Holly activated her wings silently and fluttered to his height, and then in front of him.
"Oh I don't think I'll have any trouble with that," she said. At this proximity, it was clear she was not simply a child, or even human. Which would call that age thing into question.

Cortex, appropiately, did a double d take as he watched Holly fly off.
"Wh...wha...wait for me, you ungrateful little urchin!!"
(Are we done here? Is this where we move to another thread? X3)
