"Been years since I've been here... Been anywhere, really."
Squish. Ms. Mirror lifted her foot and grimaced at the sludge now coating her high-heeled shoes. Figured she'd step in a corpse of some old monster. She'd probably been responsible for that one.
"Honestly, I only came here for something that belongs to me. I couldn't care less about any of you monsters."
She stabbed one mutated monstrosity in the chest with three long sharp green claws. Her hand changed back into a human hand, and the dead creature dropped.
"Alright, I just need to get to the bottom floor, and then I'll be done here..." She looked around and suddenly became very aware that she was surrounded by creatures. More than she could handle.
"...Oh dear. This could be a problem..."

"Sic 'em, boy!" the sound echoed from a distance.
Just then, a robotic dog comes out of nowhere to let out a raging bark. Some focused their attention on the robot dog, rushing towards him.
The dog waited patiently for a sizable group to appear to open his mouth, letting it be known that it can hold a missile. With a click warning, the missile came, seen, and conquered the masses.
Unfortunately, that was just a small pie of the mutated pie, and who knows if those monsters can regenerate!
Monsters hearing the blast came to swamp over the dog, who only had one of those things. Just when the monsters were close enough, a rocket came to greet the masses, followed by a boy jumping to his dog's aide.
"Good boy, lets roll!"
The carnage was a plethora of dog bites and explosions. But as quick was the extravagant battle, as quick was the boy ran out of rockets, and the dog was getting tired.
"How can you be tired, boy? You are a robot for Podunk's sake!"
He looks at the woman in the far corner, now not as swamped as creatures as both she was before and as he is now.
"Ahem, Ms. whoever-you-are, a little assistance here, please?!"

Way up high, taking a snooze in a monster free area, was Franky, of all people. She had somehow wound up here, and also made it very clear she was stronger than any of these mutated things littering the facility. Anyone that took time to look might notice a few scorched corpses here and there, all of which being her handiwork.
Nevermind the fact she was a Frankenstein, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. and right now, it was sleep. At least until she heard a few screeches, barks and kabooms from down below. Propping herself up, she took notice of the three... whatever they were, among her little playmates. "Hey! Let sleep! you noisy!"
She hopped down from her high up location and landed hands first, throttling the ground a bit. Well, at least THESE people might keep her occupied. She rubbed her eyes with her gigantic fingers, her voltmeter leaning to the right a bit.
"Hello, new," she called, walking towards them, and getting a few wimpers from nearby mutants. "I Franky. Who you?"

(WELL NOW. This looks like a good place. :3)
It would probably be fair to wonder where these gross, mishapen beasts were coming from. Especially inside a lab that was supposedly abandoned.
Well, as it turns out, it was occupied after all. Deep, deep down in the farthest corners of the lab's lowest levels, a witch had set up shop. After the stupid marsupials she recruited to help make her new lair failed spectacularly, she stumbled upon this empty lab and took a liking to it. It reminded her of her sisters' old haunt back on Isle of Hags. Good times.
The monsters scattered throughout the lab were more or less unintended byproducts of her experimenting, mainly animals that wandered too close and were exposed to the toxic residue from various machinery, potions, spells, and the like.
As of now, Gruntilda was in her private chambers, tinkering with a rather large and dangerous-looking laser blaster...

The boy blinked. He looked around to see if Sydney was sniffing out ingredients for alchemical formulas. He wasn't. Sydney was right there waiting looking at the newcomer, waiting for the call.
The boy didn't seem much intimidated. After all, he had been through a lot of events and situations. In his day and age, he's now not admiring the B-movies as much as he wants, instead talking to his dogs about what he would do at a situation like this. However, he was amazed at the sight of the little girl. Number one, she cleared out a lot of the monsters within the place despite her size, and number two, she kinda looks like...
"Patchwork Girl! Although the monsters remind me of the concoctions from the Witch from Planet Erar."
He looks at Sydney to calm him down. With a mechanical bark, he stood down."
"Hey.... um... Franky. My name is..."
Just as he was about to say his name, a monster decided to try to sneak attack Franky from her back. That was quickly taken care of by Sydney.
"This is my dog, Sydney. He's.... not himself lately, but he's a good boy indeed!"
That complement was responded by a light back.
"Well, at least he's not a toaster. So what brings you here, Franky?"

Her massive hands twitched a little, then she cupped them together. "I lost. I take nap one day, then wake up in cold laboratory." She pronounced that last part with the "o" included. "These beasts horrible. they bad pets, and try biting me! They bad!" An observant eye would probably notice her volt meter's needle twitching to the right, detecting her added volts.
Immediately, her hands sparked with violet energy, making a few monsters back away. You can be a complete idiot, and still know to run from electricity when you've felt it before. "BAD!" She pointed a finger at one and completely roasted it with violet electricity, turning it pitch black and on its back. The meter on her chest calmed down, turning back to the left.
(I guess, If FF will let us, we can just RP a bit without her.)

(Yeah, it's official, she's out. And I think this was the only one I'm actually roleplaying with her in, but oh well)
And observant was he, as her gauge eases on to the right. The boy just initially thought it was just some cool mood meter.
Then as her mandibles started to glow violet, it was "The Mauve Storm" all over again.
"Sidney, duck!"
The boy had no reaction time as he head for cover, hoping he is not the least resistant target. His eyes, closed. One shouldn't look directly at the light, especially if you feel the light is coming from...
The electricity from the room raised his hair. They can possibly be used as needles. Sidney, being a robot in this part of the world, simply watched as the poor monster, who was just trying to make the three dinner, not so much Franky more the rest, get turned into a smoldering pile of ash.
As soon as his hair started to go back to their default state, the boy peeked to see if his eyes were safe. When the coast was clear, he still hesitated, but stood up.
"Good thing you were here," said the boy, "And... you are a friend... I hope."

(oh yeah, way to make the monster look innocent. XD I thought they were brainless attackers!)
Franky smiled wide. "Franky good girl. No like badness, promise!" She approached the corpse, then stuck her tongue out at the thing, not liking it. "Bad. Who else want be trouble?"
There was an audible whump with how many monsters backed away and hit the ground. She put her massive finger to her lips and blew some smoke off the top, like a pistol. "That more like. ...What name again?"
Making sure, her sweet little eyes made contact with a hoard of them, and they flinched. No interruptions, for now.

"Oh My name. Well, it's..."
"Bark!"
"I know, it's not a great name. You can call me boy. Everybody does, anyway."
The boy looks around and sees the monsters stopped in their tracks.
"Well, they are no problem for awhile. The question is, where are they coming from?"
He looks around. There was not much any openings. The boy came from the west, and the east is blocked for some reason. there was an opening in the north, though.
The boy pointed the direction and said, "There's two places we can go: north and west. West is the exit, while the north might take us to the origin of these beasts. I do not know about you, but I want to go north! Maybe I can find a way home to Podunk. Lets go, Sidney! um.... Sidney?"
He looks around to see his dog caressing toward Franky.
"Sidney!?"
Sidney has no qualms about Franky. She is nice and cute.... and might be able to recharge him.

Franky looked down, smiling. "Aww~!" She put one of her large fingers on his head, gently rubbing, then looked for a recharge point. Finding what looked like one, she zapped a few charges into it, filling his tanks right up. Getting back up, she looked at him. "I fine with it!" she called, following behind.

"Cool, you got a cute powerhouse recharging station. You get all the luck, boy."
The dog barks frantically as he is satisfied. he then nudges Franky towards him.
"It seems he wants you to join us."

Franky felt the nudging from the little 'bot, and walked with him. "Hehehee! This fun! very fun!"
She spun a little, then walked with them. Hard not to be overjoyed in times like this.

"Well, I guess we are off!" The boy said, as Franky gets nudged with him. With a gentle pat on her head, they went off north."
The north halls were filled with doors. It immediately reminded him of The Never-ending Library.
With new friend side to side and walking parallel, he's starts getting bored.
"Franky, is that your actual name? Kinda boyish, don't you think?
That comment was greeted by a growl from Sid.
"What? I'm just sparking conversation!"

She looked up at him, humming a little. "Yes, professor give me name. He name me after inspiration, Frankenstein." She looked down at sidney, giggling. "Sidney, no growling~! An-way, Name is also 'Miss Stein,' 'Frankenstein girl,' oh, and favorite- Frances! Love Frances."
She hummed a bit more, happy to have a companion after such a long time staying at that lab. There were fortunately some provisions lying around, so she was good. Speaking of, she pulled out a bar of "Spiral honey chocolate," something she found in a fridge. "Want piece?" she asked, pointing the bar at him.
(OOC: Daaah! I got the spelling wrong! it turns out, it's supposed to be spelled "Frankie," not "Franky." Gah, i dunno if i should correct it or not.)

The boy smiled. He hadn't a bite to eat in days! He took a piece.
"Thank you! God, I was so hungry. Well, I am. You technically fed the dog over there."
As he takes his bite, he continued. "Professor? I know of a professor. My dog is named after him. His name is Sidney Ruffleburg. He's a great man. A little on the absent-minded side, but a good man, nonetheless. How about your professor? and I like Frances, too. I'll start calling you that."
