THE TRAINER
Full Name: Prue Eveque
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 25
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 150 lbs
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: None (Constantly traveling. Her hometown is Kanto's Cerulean City)
Franchise: Pokemon (Main Series based trainer)
Physical Description
There isn't anything too extraordinary about Prue. She has long brown hair that reaches about an inch past her shoulders. She tends to keep it in a ponytail with a plain pink elastic ponytail holder. All of her hair is held in the ponytail, so it's sweapt behind her ears. She has hazel eyes that will sometimes change shades and colors depending on her outfit and mood.
She tends to dress in sleeved vests, skirts, and slip-on shoes. When she comes to the outfit she is wearing a white short sleeved shirt with a hot pink belt that snaps closed in the back. She has on a black windbreaker with pink highlights. Her skirt is silver with a pokeball motif in pink and white. Her shoes are light pink with black soles and dark pink edges.
Prue keeps her team of six Pokemon on her belt. From her back left to her back right is a miniature (smaller than many keychains) Dusk Ball, Great Ball, Pokeball, Greatball, Pokeball, and Premier Ball. They are completely opaque, but when she expands the tops are semi-transparent and the Pokemon inside are completely active and aware. They can be held on the belt when expanded as well, but it's a bit unwieldy.
Weapons
Prue doesn't carry any actual weapons on her, and she's even missing her supply bag due to it not coming through the portal with her. She's got a few Ultra Balls in her coat pocket in miniaturized form and her filled Unova badge case... that's it. None of that is exactly "weapon" material.
Abilities/Powers
N/A. She's a normal human, and anything she can do falls under skills.
Skills
Prue is a fairly good Pokemon trainer, but her skills shine the best as a Coordinator, particularly in Cute Contests. She's good (but not great) in Beauty and Smart, passable in Cool, but while her Tough skills have improved in recent years, they are still lacking. It's been a while since she's been in a Contest too, so she's a little rusty. This is for the game version of Contests. In the anime she'd be Grand Festival participant (but not winner) level.
To give a more clear depiction of her abilities, Prue has all eight badges from the five major regions of the world (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova). She is certified to participate (and has done so) in the region-wide tournaments of all five, but has never won a "place" position. While not on her due to the circumstances of her arrival, she has a bucket load of Cute Contest ribbons, a fair number of Beauty and Smart, a few Cool, and one Tough ribbon. She's also seen by some to be up and coming on the Musical circuit, but she doesn't really have the dedication to rise beyond that.
When she gets really excited, she has this "skill" to be able to squee at extremely high pitched levels. It basically amounts to literally screeching with joy. Its not quite outside normal human hearing but those with sensitive ears and many animals/Pokemon are in pain by the pitch.
She has various other abilities that aren't really worth note. She can ride a bike, she has decent but not great stamina, and other such talents.
Personality
Prue is hyperactive and rather "genki". She wears her emotions on her cuff and is emotional enough to be called overdoing it at times. She's a trainer for the fun, friendships, and travel - not the battles, although she's quite capable at them. While her default emotion is cheerful, she can and will get mopey from time to time. It can be a little hard to pull her out of that, and sometimes she just needs to be smacked (not always figuratively, either) to pull her out of a funk.
She tries to put other people first and not hurt their feelings, but sometimes she can come across as selfish, particularly when her Pokemon are concerned. She despises people who use Pokemon as tools rather than treating them as friends. She's hard to calm down when she gets going (whatever the emotion), but can generally buckle down and get through when shit hits the fan. She tries to see the best in people, causing some cases of gullibility. She also tends to be a bit of a spazz.
History
Prue was born in Cerulean City and unlike most of her peers wasn't a trainer. Her mother dabbled in it a bit but her father didn't have much interest, and while Prue knew some Pokemon, she had a slight fear of leaving home and of Pokemon in general due to experiences with Beedrill when she was about eight. She left home when she was twelve after an interesting encounter lead to her, Bill, and Misty rescuing a young Squirtle. She has traveled to all the major regions at least once, and has spent some time in regions like Orre, Fiore, and Almia. She knows about all the gangs or "Teams" that have made the news and has had encounters with most of them. She has not, however, contributed significantly to bringing any of them to a stop.
She has competed in the Leagues and tournaments of all the regions. She has earned the right to participate in the region tournaments in all five of the regions and has all eight badges from each of those regions. The Contest system of her world is a fair bit less organized than the leagues, but she jumped into them as soon as she learned about them and it was in Sinnoh she became known thanks to her Pachirisu. She also has a few accomplishments in the Hoenn and Sinnoh (which has since relocated to Johto) Frontiers as well as Unova's Battle Subway - But she won't be making the news for any of them any time soon. She's not really good enough to battle at that level.
Prue was training in Challenger's Cave in Unova when she heard a scream something like glass breaking and the ground simply vanished from underneath her, bringing her to Dimension Island where she'd meet someone from a world similar to but not quite her own.
Other
Prue is terrified of bees and nervous of anything that resembles them. In terms of Pokemon this means she has a phobia of Beedrill, frightened of Vespiquen and Weedle, nervous around Combee, and strongly dislikes Kakuna.
She is from a generic game-based world. She knows of people like Red and has seen them on television a few times but she isn't really that knowledgeable of them. Think of them as you might a celebrity.
THE POKEMON (FOR STATISTICAL INFO, SEE AN ONLINE POKEDEX)
- Sora the Pachirisu -
Height: 1'3"
Weight: 8 lbs.
Gender: Female
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Thunderbolt, Return, Double Team, Fling, Flash, Cut, Thunder Punch, Volt Switch
Skills
Sora can find the darnedest things on the ground. From shiny bottles to precious gems, if it catches her eyes you can bet she'll pick it up. This is the way her "Pick Up" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Sora is cute, naive, and a little bit daft. She probably wouldn't win any awards for common sense, but her cheerfulness and optimism is infectious. Her daftness expresses into running into things without any thought, such as jumping into a lake when she can't swim. Oddly enough, it prevents things like sense preventing her from trying crazy shit, with the outcome of winning battles or solving problems as likely as getting herself lost. She likes everyone, doesn't get when Prue doesn't like people, and is the friendliest bundle of cuteness you ever will meet.
Other
Sora will almost never use the "-risu" part of her name, but it makes her no less understandable. This oddity grew out of the fact that Prue almost never calls the species Pachirisu, instead preferring "Pachi" or "Pachis".
She can't swim.
- Loki the Dewgong -
Height: 5'09" (tail to horn)
Weight: 270 lbs
Gender: Male
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Avalanche, Rain Dance, Surf, Double Team, Brine, Frost Breath, Whirlpool, Waterfall, Dive
Skills
Loki loves the rain. He gets more mischievous in it, he gets more wired, and it seem to just wash away any ill feelings he's having. If he's upset, he'll often make it rain. Whether its purely psychological, purely physical, or some combination thereof, any illnesses he has wash away with the rain. This is how his "Hydration" ability expresses itself.
Personality
On the surface, Loki seems like a derpy derpface who is constantly smiling and either doing some stupid but harmless cute shit or hiding out of shyness. In truth he's strong and proud of his strength, leading to a confidence he can do what he wants without getting into trouble... but he doesn't like it when the attention centers on him outside of feats of his abilities. He's also extremely mischevious, and does a lot of troublesome shit when no one is watching. He's got a short temper when it comes to his abilities though. He'll gladly lay the smack down on you if you start calling him weak or saying he obviously can't do things because he's too derpy and/or shy.
Other
Loki has a tall ring around the base of his tail. It is a folding bracelet made out of a stone that seems clammy to the touch and has a light blue color. The "hinge" piece is made out of silver as is the connecting part on the inside that latches it in place. The outer part is inscribed in the Unown letters for Loki (two letters on either side) and was custom made for the Dewgong. It is made out of a Damp Rock and seems to effect the environment, allowing any rain summoned by Loki to last longer.
- Chao the Mismagius -
Height: 3"
Weight: 9.8 lbs
Gender: Female
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Ominous Wind, Sucker Punch, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Dark Pulse, Thunder Wave, Snatch
Skills
Chao floats around like any good ghost and any move that effects only the ground won't effect her. However, she is no more likely to get hit by lightning than anyone else, a factor that can not be claimed by many flying creatures. This is how her "Levitate" ability expresses herself.
She's actually really good at quiet and stealthy approaches to things as well. It's rare to actually catch her doing things, and due to the amount of pranks she pulls, this works well to her advantage.
Personality
Chao seems to live to cause havoc. She's probably the smartest Pokemon on Prue's main team and isn't shy about showing it. She thinks she knows best and often ignores orders... something Prue puts up with cause it tends to lead to good effects. Her idea of a greeting is to pull some prank on you, and she seems to have a bit of a blind spot in how a prank can get dangerous quickly. However, she won't put up with it when people do harm to Prue or the team. She's surprisingly capable and protective when the going gets going. She's got a bit of pride, and tends to react very hurt when it gets hit, but she'll always pull through.
- Skeletor the Marowak -
Height: 3'02"
Weight: 98.5
Gender: Male
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors)
Toxic, Protect, Endure, Sunny Day, Rock Smash, Knock Off, Endeavor, Brick Break, Facade, Fire Punch
Skills
You could drop Skeletor from 100 feet up and he'd only be knocked a little loopy. This Pokemon is made of tough and won't back down easily. Very stubborn and seemingly incapable of hurting himself. It comes in handy with his favored move "Double-Edge" as it allows him to throw himself at the enemy and take no kickback damage. This is how his "Rock Head" ability manifests.
Personality
Skeletor is fairly quiet, keeping mostly to himself. He is, however, unbelievably loyal to Prue and takes threats to her safety very seriously. While he appears to be a loner, he dislikes being left by himself and would never volunteer to guard a place alone. He isn't a fan of battling, but he won't hold back if he gets into one. He actually has somewhat thin skin and gets very hurt when criticized, and is always trying his best.
Other
Skeletor is a little leery of Contests, but Prue has convinced him that she's done enough training in Tough Contests for them to participate in a few when they get back to Sinnoh, which Prue has decided is a much cooler place than Unova because Contests are cooler than Musicals.
Skeletor has a golden colored rock attached to his upper left arm like a bracer. It's in fact a King's Rock and wearing it reminds Skeletor of his attachment to Prue's Houndoom Akuma (since traded away), so it helps him do his best in battle. This focus transfers to a greater rate of flinching when he attacks an opponent.
- Bella the Lilligant -
Height: 3'08"
Weight: 36 lbs
Gender: Female
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Hidden Power [Dragon], Toxic, Attract
Skills
Bella is a dancer and able to make musical sense of any cacophony thrown her way and move in time with it. As such, odd sounds don't confuse her like they would many people and Pokemon. This is how her "Own Tempo" ability expresses itself.
Personality
There are times when it seems Bella has absolutely no sense of self preservation. She has a childlike curiosity towards anything and everything, if even the slightest change is made to it. She also has a need that falls just short of a compulsion to investigate anything new. Shiny thing across a rickety bridge? It won't even cross her mind that the bridge is rickety, she'll just dash right over to it. She also tends to take insult when she is told she can't investigate something, and will often go out of her way to sneak towards it. It's not that she's trying to misbehave, it is just an expression of her leap before looking chronic tendencies.
Other
Bella has a pendant held on a thin hemp rope around her neck. It is an off white fang hanging down along side two small Braviary feathers, one red and one blue. The fang itself is actually a Dragon Fang and provides a boost to her Hidden Power, but it is often assumed to be some kind of Unova souveneir due to the colors.
- Frankie the Scrafty -
Height: 3'05" (short)
Weight: 64 lbs.
Gender: Male
Non-Standard Attacks (taught through T/HMs or tutors
Poison Jab, Strength, Dragon Tail
Skills
Frankie's "outfit", like most members of his species, is actually spare skin that he keeps for protective purposes. His has a function where it drains ill effects from him and he can easily throw it off given an opportunity in battle as it grows back quite quickly. This prevents him from staying ill for as long as well as granting him a recovery from status effects. This is how his "Shed Skin" ability expresses itself.
Personality
Frankie is a real loner, disliking team work and being told what to do. He's pretty good at brawling, but not so hot at the stopping. When he gets it into his head to do something, he's going to go at it with reckless abandon. He does not react well to being told something against what he believes in the least, and is the sort to punch your face in if you question him. Surprisingly, he's fairly content at following orders, but he is also no where near shy about telling people when to shove off and going off and doing his own thing anyways. He can generally be seen hanging by himself off to the side, seemingly in his own world despite usually paying very close attention to things.
Other
He actually has a Zoom Lens rigged so he can hook it to the crest on his head and use it for better aim, but he usually keeps it tucked away under his hood/collar. He pulls it out when he fights, or when the fight comes by surprise, first opportunity it gets. It's helpful to prevent hurting himself with his favored Hi Jump Kick move.
Other (All of Prue's Pokemon)
For some reason, the magic of the island does not allow Prue's Pokemon to speak normally. Instead they say their name like always. Animals, other Pokemon, and those that can speak with animals can understand the Pokemon.
Prue's Pokemon can use all of their attacks in any non-league sanctioned fight, which pretty much means any battle on the Island - although she likes to follow them in non-aggresive situations. However, Prue has to remember the attack name in order to be able to order them, something she occasionally manages to forget. None of her Pokemon were hatched, so they know no egg moves.
Also this should be the last time I revamp her due to false start plots... XD
