"... So, what do you want to do?" "I dunno. I hear there's been a lot of break-in's at the mall. You interested in that?" "... Nah, it doesn't really have much to do with mutants."
With a heavy sigh, Jackpot slouched back in the bench. Sitting next to him was Blight, leader of their now-defunct team. With the most powerful member's resignation and half the other team back in their home dimension, there wasn't much for X-Strike Investigations to do.
"What do you think the X-Men are doing now?" Blight asked. "Prob'ly something complicated." Jackpot answered, lighting a cigarette. "Hell, I'm not even sure if that thing with the Skrulls is over." "The Invasion? No, it's over; Norman Osborne shot their leader." "No foolin'?"
They could have talked about it the whole day. They didn't have time, though; a giant robot crashed into the City Hall.

Spyro moon and cynder flew through the air, laughing as they played only to look down as city hall was attacked. laughter died on their lips as purple eye's met emerald eye's and light green eye's before they swooped down.

"WAGH!!" From the great robot's crash, out the front windows flew one of the workers of the City Hall lobby. Crash tumbled and skidded a bit, landing right in front of Jackpot and Blight, drooling dizzily.
(Don't worry, I'll bring a hero in soon if that's what you were intending)

"LORD C'THULU'S ACIDIC SPLOOGE!"
The Mayor ran out of the city hall, horribly mutilated, but otherwise okay. "WHO IN THE LANDS BEYOND NOTHINGNESS DESTROYED MY HALL? I was getting my office freaking redecorated!"
Blight stared in confusion as the mayor's body slowly sewed itself back together. Jackpot, meanwhile, seemed more worried about the robot.
"Hey... does that thing look kinda... familiar?" "What are you t-- oh. Crap."
The robot, three stories tall and with glowing, red eyes, stood up menacingly.
"SYSTEM ANALYSIS: UNIT IS OPERATIONAL! LOADING RESPONSE... LOADING... LOADING... ATTACK-MODE INITIATED! SCANNING... SCANNING... MUTANTS DETECTED! ALL CITIZENS CLEAR THE AREA!"

Still quite disoriented, Crash rolled over and looked up. At the sight of the robot, <i>Night on Bald Mountain</i> randomly echoed on inside his head.
"Whooooaaaa... that is one big robot," he protrayed Captain Obvious for the day.

"I don't like the sound of that." Moon muttered as he launched a blast of moon fire, spyro and cynder following up with lightning and poison, at the bot.

Mia was Passing by,before noticing the giant robot,"OH COME ON!!"she exclamed,she grabbed her sword and cut off the feet of this machine (or whatever it uses to get around)

"I just get here and this is the first thing I see?" the boy grumbled as he pulled out the Blood Sword from his sheath and his lance from behind him, getting in battle position. "Guess I better get ready!"
"Firion!" a voice called. The youth turned to see a woman running towards him. Taking in her appearence, he grinned as he recognized here.
"Good to see you again Terra," he said softly.

Mia jumped on the boys head To get to The robot's head,She was about to slice it in half,but instead she got Whacked out of the way by it

All of the attacks hit the Sentinel; however, something was wrong. Its purple-and-pink paint job was barely scratched. The fire hadn't singed it; the lightning seemed to disperse over the Sentinel; the poison... well, really, what could posion do to a robot?
"... Crap. You every see a Sentinel take that kind of damage?" Jack asked, hesitating to draw his pistols. It wasn't like they would do anything.
"They're giant, mutant-hunting robots; they're designed to take damage." Blight pointed out. "Man, my powers suck; I can only use them on people."
"MUTANTS DETECTED ALL AROUND THIS UNIT! CONTACTING BASE FOR ASSISTANCE! ERROR! COMMUNICATIONS D-DISABLED! SWITCHING INTO OVERDRIVE!"
Taking a step back, the Sentinel pointed its hands at the 'mutants' attacking it. Its pals were the size of a person, and in the middle were black, ominous portals. A high-pitched whistling hissed into the openings as they glowed with a bright-red energy.
With a force that sent the Sentinel back a step, two blasts of energy were fired at its attackers. Like the Wrath of God, they glowed with a white-hot fury.

She ran underneath the robot and she Attempted to take a full slash at it's mechanics

"In to the air!" Spyro shouted as The three dragons took flight to avoid the attack. This time, Spyro launched earth missiles, Cynder let lose the high pitched shockwaves, and Moon launched a beam of Light energy

"Oh, yeah... Shit just got real up in this bitch." said a voice from the distance. "ACCIDENTAL KIRBY RIPOFF POWERS GO!!!" he exclaimed, bolting forward covered in fire. The fire covered porcupine man smashed into the Sentinel.
