"You monster!" Marth drew out his sword threateningly. "RELEASE HER!!"

"Or you'll do what Prince?" the monster asked. By this time, Terra had looked up. Anger was written all over his face.

"You mistake me dear Prince. I did not do it for use. I did it for simple fun and to rejoice my newfound powers. But I suppose if you want a true villain's answer, then here is the truth of the matter. Tortured souls feed me. When I was frozen, they would do naught and that was terrible, but now that I am free to roam once more, the more souls that are in my possession, the stronger I become. And now that I can take souls in death, I will be able to equal God," Satan said. Terra's eyes flashed somewhat red... figuratively... He did not even grab for his sword. He ran at Satan in a blind fury. The Devil grinned and held his hand out, grabbing Terra by the throat and choking him. "Foolish boy. You act just like that pathetic angel," he said before throwing him at Marth.

"Oof!" Marth fell over. "You... you blasted..."

Terra rolled off of Marth and growled, picking up his sword. The runes glowed with a white light and Satan was stunned by the sudden holy power the blade was giving off when the one wielding it was a mere human. His thoughts were cut along with his face with Terra's sudden rush. Black blood dripped to the floor. The Devil grinned and dodged the next cut before bashing Terra to the ground with his fist, leaving his nose pouring blood. "You caught me there... That blade of yours is holy, isn't it? How interesting," he said before a wave of darkness began to spread over his beautiful body, slowly teleporting him from Marth and Terra. Terra picked himself up and nearly cleaved him in two, but he had already dissapeared.

"T-Terra!" Marth hurried over. "Oh, god, are you okay??"

"She was supposed to go on... To a better place!" Terra cried, dropping to his knees with tears streaming down his face. "She was supposed to be happy... She was supposed to leave the world of pain... But now she's stuck there forever!"

"T-terra..." Not knowing what else to do, Marth held him close for comfort. "God, I'm... I'm so sorry...!"

"W-W-W-W-Why... Why did he... What kind of monster would do such a thing?!" Terra asked as he cuddled as close to Marth as he could.

Unable to find more words to express his sorrow, Terra just cried, and as he cried, he realized he was not crying silently like a warrior, but loudly like a child, which added to his shame and made him cry more... Just like when he killed Cho's father for him murdering her. But as he cried, he held onto Marth, who seemed to be the only one he could turn to now. Ike was not there at the present moment and it would take a long time and more pain to explain to him what was going on... Marth was the one who knew. Marth was the one who captivated Terra. And at this present moment in time, the former Daein soldier, the Swordsmaster of Crimea, the man who lost nearly every single person dear to his heart... This man, Terra, needed Marth more then ever before.

Marth only let Terra cry. He knew there was no shame in it, especially with the kind of pain he was going through. The prince had some idea of how it felt... though certainly not of this magnitude.

It was a good few more minutes before Terra finally passed out in Marth's arms due to an overload of stress. His body was shaking wildly as if cold and his breathing was uneven and swift.

Marth frowned at his miserable form. Respectfully, he lifted Terra into his arms and placed him back in bed.
