However, Tarosuke had probably picked the best moment to harass Aby. At least the safest. For now. She let the comment bounce off of her, more involved in appearing to throw a punch at Kuwabara. It wasn't that she hadn't heard it, but she had a team member on the side lines that could take care of hecklers. She was more involved in a fight.
The "punch" was actually a feint, and she veered to the side at the last moment, hoping to duck any potential responses and use the fist she hadn't appeared to throw to hit Kuwabara in the elbow. She'd normally aim for the upper arm or shoulder, but Kuwabara was taller than her and aiming for an inconvenient place right at the beginning of the fight would be too much of a broadcasted move.
And the team mate she had been thinking of, Ivy, proceeded to smack Tarosuke upside the head. Rather hard too. Suzu was focused on the fight actually, and Kurama glanced at Yuusuke's comments. It fit the two's friendship rather well. It would be interesting either way, and he was actually a bit interested in having Aby win just to see the predictable reactions of both Yuusuke and Kuwabara.
Ginger blinked as she walked to the side. Having decided Tarosuke was not talkative, she had walked over to Rax'aar and sat next to him, "Do you think she can win? That tall boy has obviously seen many fights, and you seem to know her best." It wasn't exactly quiet, so if any of the other members of the large group wanted to comment, they could. But it was aimed at Rax'aar.

WHAAAAM!!!!
"OW!!!" Tarosuke rubbed his bruised head staring at Ivy with conviction. "What'd I do to deserve that?!?!?!?"
PLENTY.
"NO-ONE ASKED YOU!!!!!!!!!!"

"Oh, he knows her best alright..." Yuusuke spoke up, grinning.
"Ignoring esquire of brainless, I'm rather certain she can win. This Kuwabara fellow doesn't seem exactly... graceful, balanced, intelligent... hygienic..." Rax'aar visibly paled for a moment.
"Well, yeah, that and although Kuwabara has 'seen many fights', he lost most of 'em." Yuusuke finished for the alien. Not so much 'finished' as 'cut him off in a completely rude yet in character fashion'.
Kuwabara, of course, was not used to this 'feint' tactic. Because everyone he'd ever fought, including Yuusuke, took his punches. There was no dodging involved in a schoolyard fight. Kuwabara's face was testament to that.
And then her fist connected with his elbow. He didn't visibly express it, but it was actually rather painful. Not the kinda pain Toguro was able to dispense, however. Not. Even. Close.
Kuwabara's fist shot forward after his first punch presumably missed. Presumably. He wasn't in 'OMGBATTLECRY' mode yet.
Yet.

Ginger blinked and shook her head, "You are not going to start that up again, are you? Whether or not they like each other, it is not your place to taunt them about it," although it was evident from her tone of voice she agreed with Yuusuke. She glanced towards Suzu, "And you seem to be enjoying yourself."
Suzu jerked and looked at Ginger, scowling. He made no response. Kurama leaned against the side of the building. Whether Aby was an experienced fighter or not, he doubted she had seen anything like the Dark Tournament. For that reason alone he was leaning slightly in the favor of Kuwabara winning. Although his miss of the feint didn't bode well.
"Venus... Venusaur, saur saur." ("You... I'll hit you again, don't think I won't.")
Kuwabara's punch actually clipped Aby, but it wasn't enough pain for her to do more than a small flinch. He had thrown her a bit by not appearing to even try to read her movements. She took the opportunity to bring her heel down towards his ankle. If it hit right he'd have to favor a leg. She was actually avoiding hitting his face, it was somewhat clear he was used to getting hurt there. She prepared to jump backwards using the foot she hadn't kicked Kuwabara with. She could have aimed for the back of his knee, but didn't want to hurt him that bad.
Yet.

Crossing his arms, Tarosuke pouted at the Venusaur, apparently a little hurt at the... 'thing's' actions. Truthfully, he didn't know what he had done wrong, it's not like he ever got punished for things like what he had done, back in the good old days.
But it was in mind his new mindset for perviness and punishment, that, even though he didn't understand the pokemon, he took it as incentive NOT to make another comment. "Sheesh... What'd I do?" Shrugging, he turned back to the fight, focusing on the fight.
Immediately he was put off that Kuwabara wasn't trying to read Aby's movements at all. So it was with this, that he found who he wanted to cheer for. "Kick his butt!!! Come on you can take this idiot, go get him!!!"
It wasn't just because of what Aby was wearing, she was just proving to be the better fighter thus far...
... ... ... ... Yeah... THAT'S it.
[I'm SORRY!!!!! DX I am so inherently lazy, my gosh!!! I can't believe I've been ignoring this!!! I'd like to apologize to you guys, I shoulda posted on this when I got the chance... Can you ever forgive me?]

Kuwabara, however, was smart enough to move his leg, and therefore, his ankle. It caused him a moment of unbalance, however. If Aby reacted fast enough, it was highly likely he wouldn't be able to dodge her next attack.
Yuusuke, however, had suddenly lost his ability to cheer. He went into a fit of sneezing, seeming to coincide with events in another thread that he had no knowledge of.
"OH WHAT THE HELL? IS HIEI SPAMMING MY NAME OR SOME-ACHOO!" Yuusuke was cut off mid-rant, however, as another sneeze burst free.
"Perhaps you have a cold?" Rax'aar's voice came.
"No, that's not how these things work. See, there's this literary tool called foreshadowin-ACHOO!"
[OOC: It's cool, man. No hard feelings.]

Aby saw the stumble as she launched into the air with the leg she hadn't stomped down with, but that wasn't the impressive part. The impressive part was the amazingly agile way she flipped around in mid-air.
If the group didn't know any better, they would have said she was doing some odd mix of ballet and gymnastics. Her foot swung around and hit Kuwabara in chest, causing him to fall. She took the moment of his disorientation as she landed to run up and place her foot on his throat. She didn't apply much pressure, but she'd merely have to shift her weight to crush it. He had enough room to talk, but not even half a centimeter more.
At least she was breathing hard, evidenced as she spoke, "Consider your ass... kicked."
She waited for his reaction. While she wanted to hop off and help him up, she'd make sure to prove she could kill him in this position if he tried to argue that he wasn't done fighting or anything of the sort. She'd do so with a little bit of pressure.
Suzu rolled his eyes, that had been pathetic. Kurama bit his tongue to prevent from laughing. It wasn't that Kurabara's head had been handed to him by a girl, it was that said girl had kicked his ass almost as fast as Yuusuke could. He couldn't stop a bit of a smile from forming, and he tried to cough to hide it. Ivy rolled her eyes. Aby had been showing off the entire fight.
(OOC: First, Jilak and I chatted this over IM. He said it was okay to do a touch of godmoding here over Kuwabara's reaction. Or as he put it, "JILAK STAMP OF APPROVAL IS GIVEN."
And Gantz, I was a little irate, but you're cute when you're flustered. And don't take that wrong, I happen to find flustered guys cute. XD *cough* So yeah, all is forgiven.)

Tarosuke, however, WAS laughing. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! In the immortal words of the men known to fans as the Ghostbusters, 'She came, she saw, she kicked his ass'!!!" He laughed even more, as he fell off the crate and onto the hard concrete. This didn't seem to deter the child, as he continued laughing.
[Sorry this post was so short, but I couldn't think of anything else.]

Yuusuke mirrored Tarosuke's response, bursting into a fit of laughter. Followed by more sneezes. And then more laughter. The rhythm kept up for a few moments.
"Even Rah-boy over here could've lasted longer." Yuusuke continued his laugh/sneeze routine, pausing merely to state this.
Kuwabara wanted to rage at the two. Boy howdy did he want to rage at the two. But, he decided to contain it, considering Abster could've very well ended his life.
"Psht. I just went easy on ya because-"
"NO. SUICIDE. SUICIIIIIDE." Rax'aar's voice came.
"What?"
"Don't finish that sentence. Trust me."
"Bah. Whatever. Now get offa me, there's a rock stuck in my back."

Aby had begun to tense up, and it actually got more tense as Rah-boy cut Kuwabara off. That meant Kurabara had been about to say what she had expected. She scowled rather deeply, but removed her foot. However, she didn't offer her hand. She made a point of making a large yawn, "Anyone ever tell you you're a sore loser?"
Wait, had Aby actually prevented herself from raging? No, not she hadn't. Because as she went to step away, she made sure she stepped on Kuwabara's hand. At least she wasn't wearing heels.
Suzu hopped off his crate, "You were in the Dark Tournament and not killed? Your opponent must have been a pushover," mumbled the yokai.
Ivy glanced down at Tarosuke. He really as a little kid, no matter how many years he'd been alive.
Kurama was about to say something, but his mouth paused after opening. He looked around for a moment. There actually seemed to be a look of mild surprise. Finally, he looked up towards the sky. The energy was coming from above. Suzu glanced at him for a moment and some mild realization crossed his face. He looked up as well.
They had both picked up on a small blip of Reiki and a larger one of Youki. It was quite possible Tarosuke may have picked up on it as well, although it was just as possible he was too busy laughing... -----
The source of said Reiki and Youki was a disgruntled spirit guide and her passenger. They'd been looking for an hour from the air. Hiei hadn't picked up on anyone, and Botan was tired about having to hide. Because the thing was, with people's inability to see her, they'd see what looked like a floating Hiei with an unconscious girl tied to his belt. Which would likely attract way more attention than they wanted.
"Hieiiii, haven't you sensed anything yet? Even if..." Botan shook her head, "Kurama would be alive, right? Did you use so much energy you can't sense him or something?"
Yeah, she'd gotten so annoyed that she was possibly being a little too brave. After all, Hiei could take the time to cut Botan's human shell off if he wanted. And they'd passed enough tall buildings he could probably take the fall. It was highly likely those thoughts were running through his head.
(OOC: Reiki = Spirit energy, Youki = Demon Energy)

However, Kurama had been wrong in that aspect. Despite laughter, Tarosuke immediately stopped when he felt the sudden spike in energy. He had trained himself time and time again that if there was a weird energy nearby, you drop what your doing and get ready for a possible fight...
If anyone knew that, it would've come as no surprise to see Tarosuke suddenly jump to his feet, in 'Rei-Gun' stance, ready to rumble. "Who's there?? In the name of Buddha, I demand you show yourself!!"

"Even if I did use up too much energy to sense Kurama, which is highly unlikely, I didn't use up too much energy to destroy your human shell and leave you here, technically stranded." Hiei growled in response.
See, THIS was part of the reason he'd been hoping to have left the Spirit Guide. But nooooo, his luck failed. -- Yuusuke noticed two things. The first he noticed was the spike in Youki, and the presence of Reiki. Both were eerily familiar. Kuwabara was actually the first(of the group of characters this author controls) to see the familiar shape in the sky. Well, what he could make out of it. It was rather far away, and such. This would've been a time for someone to give a signal, showing the assistant(and Hiei) their location...
...which is why Yuusuke fired his Reigun into the air. perhaps he should have followed Tarosuke's example and not outright attacked, but... to be honest... he was actually semi-aiming for the oar itself.

Botan was trying to figure out how to word this when she felt the Reiki surge, "EEEEEE!" she shouted, suddenly shooting straight upwards and barely managing to avoid the attack. Hiei got whacked upside the head with the oar due to the suddent shift in direction, but Botan didn't even seem aware of it as she looked down.
"YUUSUKE!" she shouted, waving an arm frantically. The look on her face was pure relieved joy. With no regard for Hiei she began shooting down towards the ground. -----
If Kurama had thought Yuusuke was actually attacking, he would have been mistaken. Which was a rather rare thing to occur for the kitsune. That explained the energy. He watched with what seemed like mild interest.
Aby looked towards the reactions of the group like they were all nuts. She seemed curious as to Yuusuke's reaction and looked up, almost falling over at the annoyed looking spiky haired guy. Flying was one thing, but he looked more like he was holding onto something invisible for dear life. And was that an unconscious girl he had tied to his belt. She blinked and looked at Yuusuke, "What the hell is that!?"
"Venus. Venusaur," Ivy spoke, as she padded over to Aby and carefully pulled her back. ("Relax. There's something there,")
Aby jerked a bit as Ivy's vine wrapped around her waist, but recovered quickly. Her Venusaur didn't seem upset. Which kind of annoyed her, it meant there were things going on she didn't know about. Kurama eyed Suzu as he let a flame dance on the fingers of one hand his sword ready in the other. Between what he'd seen of Suzu and knowing Hiei as he did, it was probably better to get a fight over with sooner than later... but he did say something.
"If there's anything flammable in the area, we might want to move it."
He knew if Suzu pissed Hiei off enough, things would be bursting into flames. Hiei was the type to go "my fire is better than yours", after all.

When Tarosuke finally gained the sense to look up, he was treated with the sight of watching Hiei and Botan flying overhead, coming down to their current position. "Who the hell-?" He closer examined Botan as she came down... Why did that energy that eminated from her feel familiar?
[Wasn't Botan also the Grim Reaper or something? That's what Tarosuke's sensing there.]

Hiei was rather raged as it was, right now. He'd been paired with the spirit guide on the search, had to save her life, and had been repaid by being bashed in the face with her oar. This was really one of those days where he felt he should've just killed his other teammates and moved on, perhaps hid in this place, but he decided against it. After all, he might need a sacrifice in the near future, and-wait, had Urameshi been aiming at them? That thought suddenly crossed his mind as the two neared the ground. More rage, on his end. And then he noticed Suzu. It wasn't just the the fact that he looked like Suzaku, oh no. It was the fact that he looked like Suzaku, seemed to have been roughed up pretty hard lately, and was covered in blood that didn't seem his own. And then there was the girl whom had, previously, had her shoe to Kuwabara's throat. Hiei had noticed the girl, and noticed that her foot was on some male's throat. He'd then realized it was Kuwabara. This set off a few warning bells, but he chose to disregard her to in favor of the Suzaku clone. And he DID need to take his OMGANGAH out on someone... -- "HEY. I FOUGHT YOUNGER TOGURO, BASTARD." Kuwabara's rage was probably unfounded. This author isn't certain as to how Toguro and Suzu's timelines would... 'mix', so, it was highly likely that he had NO IDEA who the man in question was.
"Pretty sure the only thing flammable around here is Rah-boy." Yuusuke gestured in Rax'aar's direction.
"Should I be worried? Is your friend violent?"
[Yeah. She was all, upon his introduction, 'HURR, I'M HERE TO TAKE YOU TO THE OTHER WORLD, HURR']
