Is this a new Region?

It was a fairly sunny day today, with scarce clouds floating about ot provide shade that did absolutely nothing. Thankfully, the only savior to this hot day was the occasional winds to cool anyone up. The park wasn't really populated today really however as a figure was walking through the parks walking ground.

She was a fairly average height person with very short red hair. Her eyes were blue-green eyes. Her clothes seemed worn and old from the unfashionable coloring of her coat and faded blue T-shirt. Her now faded black jeans were rolled up above her knees, and she had high black knee socks and was wearing old brown shoes. It was true, she looked like a dude. But she didn't have much choice on clothing and also she felt more comfortable. Today, she didn't feel like having her pokemon out however.

"I wonder where I am... is this a new region... Hrm.. maybe I- Gah!" She just exclaimed as she fell backwards after bumping into what sounded like a boy.

"Owow...." She mumbled as she tried to get up, her eyes closed.

"Oh sorry! Lemme help you up!" The young voice exclaimed as she looked up.

It was a blonde boy with sea-green eyes...... in a Team Aqua outfit.

"EEEEEEEK!!! TAKE ANYTHING DON'T HURT ME!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as she threw her bag in his face as he fell backwards looking stunned and confused as he held her bag.

"Wait- no I..!" Kyle stammered trying to calm the girl... in their current position. It looked like Team Aqua boy was stealing from a random boy.

Eddward was strolling along the side of the park, just finishing up her(no, that's not a typo) notes on this place. She put the pencil she was using at the back of her right ear, like usual.

She recently arrived on the island, and she was trying her best to understand it to the best of her ability. She only just need to cover the shopping center. Silently, she was about to go her own way....

Until she heard a scream. Eddward turned her head, and saw a blond hair boy trying to rob from a red hair boy.

Her pulse was racing, sweat coming out of her pores of her body. Silently, she thought carefully of what to do.

"Curse my impulse for justice." She thought to herself.

With all her might, she ran as quick as she can and charged at the blond boy, felling over at the other boy. The two were in an awkward position, Eddward panting as she tried to get her stamina up.

It was only for a brief while it was like that, but Eddward felt uncomfortable all the same. She went to her knees, and offered her hand to the red hair boy.

"Are you alright sir," She asked him politely.

[tsifan]

"Gah!" Kyle then yelled as he was knocked out of the way, hitting a tree. Bag still at hand putting on a dizzy face.

Merine was surprised by this sudden help as she then took his hand nervously and surprised. fidgeting a bit.

"Er-... urm.. Y-yeah.... I-I'm Merine... a-and I'm not a sir..." She responded fidgetting still holding Eddwad's hand as Kyle began to come to slowly

Eddward blushed when she discovered the boy she helped save wasn't a boy after all.

"O-oh! Sorry about that miss."

Eddward laughed embarrassingly.

"I can relate though. Several people mistook me for a boy as well. One even told mistook me for someone else that share the same name as I. She told me that my angel boyfriend helped killed another friend while I was some monster infected by this... 'Aku' thing."

There was a silent pause.

"Forget I said that last part."

She helped Merline up, along with herself.

"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Eddward, with two Ds. You can me Edd for short."

She wasn't going to bother saying her other nickname. Everyone asked the same embarrassing question when they figure that one out.

Merine slowly got up as she was shaking a bit as she blinked and looked at Eddward

She stood up, though hunching slightly. So it made the illusion she was shorter than Eddward.

"Urm, okay...... I-I'm from the Johto region. You can call my Merry...." Merine replied softly as her hand was taken and her bag was plopped back into it with a suprised look she saw who did so.

It was the Team Aqua boy.

"Er, sorry for scaring you, b-but I'm not like the others. I don't even like this team..!" Kyle stuttered nervously looking at Merine as the girl cowered behind Eddward with a squeak.

[B gal]

Edd chuckled a bit.

"All right, Merry," She said, giving a soothing smile. "I'm from Peach Creek."

She silently gasped when she seen the boy she help Merry from come back only to...

return the bag he has stolen from her. Edd looked at this with a confused look on her face. She than realized Merry was hiding behind her, after the boy was trying to calm her down.

Maybe she should understand the situation before helping out the poor scared girl.

"May I inquired as to asked what's going on," Edd asked calmly.

[tsifan]

"H-he's from Team Aqua! A Crook's group!" She squeaked hiding more behind Eddward.

"E-er, th-that may be true. B-but I said before I didn't like it! It wasn't my choice!" Kyle then replied suddenly taking off his bandana.

"My name's Kyle. and I mean no harm...!" He exclaimed before suddenly a flash of light shot out from Merine's belt.

A Large Houndoom suddenly appeared, snarling at Kyle as he tackled the kid down attacking him.

Merine took action. She grabbed at the Houndoom's Collar suddenly pulling at it.

"No! Bad Sam! Bad!" She exclaimed as the Houndoom was being pulled back, however Kyle's head was pretty roasted. overall fine however.

[B gal]

Edd silently watched the information being shared, and a dog coming out of bloody nowhere, which was instantly tamed by the girl she just met.

Still, she couldn't help but asked this boy one thing.

"If you hate this crook team so much, why'd work for them?" She asked Kyle.

She awaited for the information to arrive after asking that question.

[tsifan]

"I...ur.....I.... i don't like to talk about it....." Kyle responded softly as Merine was restraining sam and hit the pokeball against his head lightly as a red beam hit him and he went into the pokeball.

"I-i'm sorry about that, S-sam gets real protective..." Merine stuttered softly as she then held a hand out to help up Kyle, and he took the hand.

[B gal]

Edd gave a slight sigh at her answer.

"I understand," She said, looking up for a brief second at her hat.

There was a brief moment of silence between the three.

"Well, I was looking for companionship after completely my research on the place," Edd finally spoke up, "but I don't mind getting it earlier. Would any of you two mind if come along with me?"

[tsifan]

"Er, okay... I guess my Officer isn't here to watch over me and stuff so I'll be okay." Kyle responded as he was pulled up by ever so weak Merine.

"I- I suppose. It wouldn't be too much harm." Merine replied softly as she looked up at the sky.

"I think there's gonna be some rain later seeing those clouds..." She said as Kyle looked up too to see what she said was true.

"Perfect," Edd said.

She was told by her parents it wasn't wise to befriend anyone she just met, but it was completely different circumstances. Besides, she needed the company.

Edd looked up at the sky, looking at the dark clouds.

"They're cumulonimbus clouds; there's a storm on the way. We better seek shelter."

[tsifan]

Both Pokemon trainers were confused by that large C-word, but more confused on what she was talkign about.

"What are you talking about?" Kyle then asked looking at where Edd was looking, however Merine was looking around fr some shelter.

"We could try out of the park or under th playground." Merine then suggested giving a shrug

Edd looked at Kyle.

"Cumulonimbus is a type of rain cloud; a storm cloud if you will," She explained to Kyle.

She was about to go with it further when lighting went off. Edd screamed, and jumped into Kyle's arms, shaking.

The rain than pour from the skies. She looked at Merline.

"I think the playground is our safe bet for shelter at the moment. We'll stay there until the storm passes. This would be the perfect opportunity to get to know each other better."

Her body was still quivering nervously, trying her best of keeping her notebook dry.

Merine and Kyle both Eeped suddenly from the lightning as Kyle suddenly had a Female in his arms.

He was having a bit of trouble balancing at first however as he held her up.

"R-right!" He then spoke running toward the playgorwn followed by Merine whom was putting on her bag.

"It isn't far from here!" she exclaimed then
