Shade looked over at his response.

"Okay, I was just wondering."

A silent pause.

"My name's Shade, what's yours?"

The Don let one ear flop to the side at Yosh's words. True, Ian had helped him evolve. Evolving seemed to be Ian's talent. Despite his poor battling skills, nearly all of Ian's Pokemon were fully evolved. The only reason the Don hadn't evolved yet was because Ian hadn't managed to find a Moon Stone for him.

Ian looked toward Shade for a moment as she spoke before looking toward Yosh. "Oh yeah, you never told me your name. I'm Ian!" Ian repeated, even though he'd said his name not even ten minutes previously. He held his hand out to Yosh.

The togepi looked down at the hand extended to him, glancing back and forth between both humans for a moment. He ignored the hand and glanced off to the side, shoulders shrugging upward. "A master in the past gave me a nickname..." He turned back, head tipped downward in a gesture that seemed almost... shy. "They called me Yosh."

It was so... STRANGE to be communicating with humans so directly. They understood what he was saying for once, which meant he could possibly have a say in things. Like what they decided to call him. Past trainers never bothered coming up with anything more than 'Togepi', content to call him by his specie's name. Then there was the time a girl had mistaken him as female and insisted upon calling him Sugar, or the weird trainer that had dubbed him Dango.

Shade gave an innocent smile.

"It's nice to meet you Yosh."

She looked at Ian, giving him the exact same smile.

"And you too, Ian."

"Yosh?" Ian asked. "...that's a nice name! Well, Yosh, I think we're gonna be good friends. At least, I hope so. Would you like to meet all of my Pokemon while we're introducing ourselves?"

< "Master Ian calls me Don Ran, or the Don for short," > the Don said in Poke-speak.

[B gal]

Edd stared at the pokemon, than looked at her friend.

"Izzy, does that fireside manual of yours has-"

"The book's not that much of a deux-ex-machina."

Shade looked over at Yosh and Ian and smiled.

"I think you two would be very close to one another," She told the two males.

Yosh gave Shade a look as though to say 'Friends? ...Really?' He gave a small shake of his head, hair falling into his face before perking up visibly, back straightening. His focus once again was back towards Ian (didn't it always seem to?). Just as quickly as he'd perked up Yosh looked to the side, slumping his shoulders forward and giving an exaggerated frown. "...Yes."

He hadn't realized it until now but this world was surprisingly void of any familiar smells. No traces of Pidgy or Rattata in the grass. No sounds of Spearow irately squawking in the trees. Seeing other pokemon would definitely make him feel a bit better.

"Alright!" Ian reached into his backpack and pulled out five Pokeballs before throwing them up in the air. Five Pokemon came out and appeared in front of Ian. A Blastoise, a Victreebel, a Flareon, a Raichu, and a Pidgeot. Unlike with Don Ran, there was visible tension with the five Pokemon in regards to Ian.

"Alright... this is Gordon... He's my starter, I got him from Professor Oak-- nice guy, though he didn't like me much," Ian said. "Um... this is Dionaea, y'know, like with pitcher plants and stuff. This is Kelvin-- um, Kelvin's a way to measure temperature, or at least that's what my mom told me... this is Chuchino, named her after a manga I read once, and this is Pidgin. Uh... I forget what pidgin means, sorry."

Kelvin padded over to Yosh and sniffed at him. <"You smell like Pokemon.">

As each Pokemon was introduced Yosh couldn't help but feel a clench of... of jealousy in his gut. Each and every one of them were evolved. Grown into their full potential. The chances of a Pokemon managing to evolve on it's own in the wild were slim and difficult. It was one thing that humans truly were good for.

As the Flareon padded over and sniffed at his feet Yosh knelt down, looking into his face. Yosh gave a perturbed frown, holding out his hand for Kelvin to sniff. "That's because I am Pokemon."

Ian frowned. "But you sure don't look like any kind of Pokemon I've seen. I mean, I guess you could be a Pokemon."

Kelvin sniffed Yosh's hand as he held it out, and then licked it. <"You look like a human, but smell like Pokemon. You're not like Master Ian. He just smells wrong.">

<"Why are you wearing Master Ian's underwear?"> Chuchino asked. She seemed, like Kelvin, more intrigued by Yosh than anything else. The rest of Ian's Pokemon were keeping their distance.

(Random jumping back)

After having wandered off when the multiple people came flooding in to see the Pokemorph, Takeshi finally came back after leaving Trevor behind. Claustrophobia had kicked in last time, but it seemed like the number had dwindled down. Celebi sat on his shoulder as usual, yawning in a tired fashion as the human walked back towards the Pokemorph. "You should sleep," Takeshi said softly.

I can take it, Celebi replied.

Dippy silently face-palmed, and sighed.

Shade looked at Yosh, and noticed some markings similar to a Toga-pi. She only learnt a little bit about these creatures, but she knew some of their appearances look like, due to a friend being from that dimension.

"What type of pokemon are you then," She asked Yosh.

Then again, it may be a case of mere insanity like several people she has met in her world.

Yosh, again, completely ignored Ian's words in lieu of his pokemon's. He was far, far more comfortable speaking with them. "I don't know what happened to me... I woke up and I was here like this." He glanced down at the boxers he wore, shrugging at the Raichu. "Because he told me to wear them."

The lonely Pokemon faltered for a moment, a little unsure as he glanced towards the other, stronger Pokemon. "You... wouldn't mind he was my Master, too. Would you?"

When the girl named Shade spoke up he blinked, looking at her. Was he SO different now that no one could tell what he was? He wasn't sure how he felt about that. "...Togepi."

[B gal]

(And now to make up for a past action here)

Shade looked over at Yosh's answer, but shrugged off the 'master' comment.

She looked over at Isabella, than at Ian, than reflected their first meeting. Silently, she walked over to Isabella, grabbed her by the ponytail, and pulled her in front of Ian.

"I think it's best you apologized to this boy," She firmly said.

Isabella looked at her blankly for a second, then sighed.

"I'm sorry for what I done earlier..." Isabella said, a bit ashamed.

Shade than looked over at Yosh, giving an innocent smile.

Ian's Pokemon all exchanged a few glances. While they had never heard of a Pokemon called "Togepi" before, they honestly didn't mind Yosh. He obviously seemed normal to them, other than looking human. Plus, since he looked human, he probably didn't need to stay in a Pokeball. So Ian could keep him around. The Don stepped forward.

"Master Ian has the final say, but we think it's okay if you come with us," the Don stated.

"A Togepi...? Never heard of a Pokemon like that. Are you from Johto?" Ian asked. He blinked at Yosh's comment about him being his master. "...'Master'? Um... sure, I guess that's okay."

He turned toward Isabella as she apologized to him. "Oh, um... that's okay. Just don't take things from people without asking, okay? And don't cut into people's conversations, that's rude too!"
