Luigi glared at Pine. "It's Luigi. For the umpteenth time."
He sighed, as the other two looked confused. "People forget me all the time. I'm almost convinced they do so on purpose as part of a stupid running gag."

Estelle was clearly confuesed about Pine's association with Luigi.
"Luigi, you know this fellow?" Estelle couldn't help but ask.

"Wow, that is really freaky then!"
She looked at Estelle, "It's not like I knew about his world. I just took a guess based on what I've seen with nicknames in my world. I guess the worlds cross sometimes in thoughts. I'm actually generally not that observant to things like this," Prue giggled.
She was about to make a suggestion when the anthroporphic porcupine rudely interuppted the conversation. She dug into her pocket as Luigi and Pine had their exchange, and Pine had an odd red PDA like device pointed at him. Prue looked down at the thing and sighed.
"Should've known, what with Jojo..." she said, once again screwing up the name of the Powerpuff Girls antagonist. Anyone not involved in the situation and/or unknowledgable about Pokemon would have likely been confused about her action with the Sinnoh styled Pokedex.

"Excuse me. Dork? I am not a..." replied Pine. "Please don't go there!" shouted a random bystander. "I am. Porcupine Man!" The Mega Man boss... level... intro... thingy... played out of nowhere. "Yeah, I hate being random." said Pine "My name is Pine."

Estelle sighed in defeat. After all, this Pine guy was just strange to her.
"Umm... Are you sure you don't need any help? Because we better be on our way if you have no business with us." Estelle said.

Prue scratched the back of her head, and then made a comment that was sure to please the rest of the group, "Um, I don't think we can afford to pay for your portion, but you're free to eat with us... we can avoid the fish if its that problematic."
She pocked her Pokedex as she said that. She'd often been accused at being friendly to a fault and far too trusting. But she'd had some pretty nice things happen from extending a kind hand, as well. And somehow she didn't think the rather rash porcupine belonged to any "Teams", nor was she even sure this world had any. For those hiding under a rock enough to not know Pokemon, "Teams" in Prue's world referred to high end criminal organizations. Or, you know, characters that didn't know her world.

Luigi looked around, trying to find the source of the wierd music. He was just about ready to ditch this nutjob, but at Prue's offer, he straightened up. "Oh! ...uh, yeah, sure. As long as he doesn't cause any trouble."

Estelle was overly concerned about Prue's decision, but she decided to go along with it.
"Just don't think I won't keep my eye on you." Estelle said to Pine.

Prue glanced at Luigi and Estelle's reactions, particularly Estelle. She wondered for a moment if she'd made a bad choice, but shrugged and gestured to the food court nearby, "So, we're going, right? I think I might be able to pay for myself if I go for something cheaper..."
She pulled up her left wrist to what looked like one of those fancy PDA/Watch/Video Display things. It had what looked like an early LCD screen with a pink tinge to it and dark red lines. She pressed some buttons and those watching would see several screens dance by until it settled on a calculator. She touched the screen a few times and a quick mathematical equation was done.
"Yeah, if this place converts like the hotel, I've got about 13 of this world's dollars," she said, sighing, "I really need to get to the City Hall after this..."
She looked over at the group and waited for a response. Things would be so much easier if there were other trainers around she could fight with... she wasn't the greatest, but it was how she had been surviving as a trainer for over ten years.

"That'll getcha something pretty good," Luigi nodded. "This area's pretty cheap for decent food. That chicken and baked potato place over there is pretty good." He stared at Pine. "...obviously we're avoiding the fish, I guess. I... don't wanna go... 'like crazy.'"

Estelle gave a sigh. "I don't know what Zonesian even is. But I sure would love a warm bowl of some vichyssoise."
Estelle then realized that probably nobody knew about vichyssoise, which is just a fancy name for potato soup. Hell, even her friends made fun of her for using vichyssoise while everyone else used the term "potato soup." So she said, "Err... I mean potato soup."
