"Really? Could be Fox..." she thought out loud. As she thought about this she noticed something strange black in the trees. It was dark out as it was so she couldn't really make it out very well so she approached it.
"What is that?"
Suddenly some largish bats flew out at her and knocked her to the ground.

"Whoa!" Skywise ducked under them. "What in Freefoot's name...!?"
There then came a big growl, one the elf's sharp ears could identify.
"Uh, oh... looks like a bear scared them out of their hiding places."

"A bear!?" Krystal jumped back. She reached for her blaster but it wasn't there.
Dammit! I knew I should've brought it! she thought.

Realizing she wasn't armed, Skywise stood in front of her protectively, grabbing his gnarled bow off his back and notching an arrow as he watched the bushes.
Finally, the bear's massive figure emerged from the shadows, growling deeply. Skywise's hunting instincts clicked on; he waited for a chance to...
"RARGH!!"
But his own wolf beat him to the punch, tackling the bear from the side, a rough tustle between the two began. Quickly, Skywise notched another arrow, toting two at a time, and launching them. They punctured the bear right in the eyes, and it collapsed with a heavy thud, its throat also ripped open by Starjumper's jaws.

Krystal sat perfectly still, breathing heavily as sweat trickled down her face.
"Oh my gosh....thankyou," she gasped.
"Hmm...annoying bear..." a voice spoke from behind ", Scared my bats..."

"It's no problem... boy, that's a lotta meat..." He jumped at the new voice, raising his hunting bow. "Who's there?!"

(Damn, I'm sorry I haven't been posting -.-  Standing behind them was a tall, lanky man with a long gray coat with a collar that covere his face except for his eyes, a top hat and bat wings. He gave a little bow. "My name is Lord Drac," he introduced himself then approached Krystal ", and by what name would a fine young lady like yourself go by?" "Um...Krystal..." she replied hesitantly. This guy gave her the creeps. "Ah, what a pretty name, pleased to meet you." |

Cautiously, Skywise only lowered his bow halfway. He stood beside Krystal. "And what would your business be here in the woods?"
(it's no prob. So... lemme ask ya.. what do you think about a pairing to slowly develop between Krystal and Skywise?)

"Ahem," Lord Drac backed off a bit ", My business is my own. I'm just out to feed."
"Feed?" Krystal asked with a disgusted look. That didn't sound all that pleasant the way he put it.
"I am the bat lord if you didn't know," Lord Drac grinned ", You have nothing to fear though, I would never go after such a beautiful young woman such as yourself."
Krystal was already getting sick of this guy.
(Well Skywise could try but that would cause a lot of conflict between him and Fox if you know what I mean)

Skywise narrowed his eyes. "..the bear, then?" He looked over the carcass. "...I suppose we could share."

(Actually, I think you should have Skywise start to like Krystal...for some reason I could have fun with this conflict >=3)
"Splendid!" Lord Drac turned around for a moment and gestured to...something. Then he sat down and several largish bat creatures sat near him. "All we need is the blood anyway, you can keep whatever meat is there."
Krystal cringed a bit at that but then decided it wasn't worth arguing with the guy over so she kept quiet.

Slightly disturbed, Skywise wisely kept his mouth shut and instead sat down between Krystal and Starjumper, stroking the latter's shaggy coat.

Krystal began to cook her portion of the meat but quickly looked up when she heard a disgusting sound. Lord Drac's bat minions had bitten into pieces of the bear and were sucking out the blood, making quite the mess. Lord Drac instead took out this strange little siringe and sucked the blood out with that then stuck it down his collar and into his mouth.
"Y-you know what, I'm not really hungry anymore you can all have the rest," Krystal announced handing her piece of meat to Skywise.

Thier eating habits, however, did not disturb Skywise as much. Him and his wolf were both eating their portions raw, tearing meat thin with sharp and hardy canines. In fact, Skywise eyed the cooked meat handed to him somewhat oddly.
"Erm... are you sure?"
