She frowns, thinking about her lusus. He was always there for her, always so kind.
She blinks, realizing something. She had someone who would be there for her, be kind to her. She smiles softly at Alex, tears in her eyes as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
"...I like it Alex...thank you..."
She kisses him lovingly, holding him close and, honestly, not wanting to stop this endearing embrace.

Man these little signs of affection were great. Alex enjoyed the taste, the passion, and just the feeling of having someone like Rulett being this close to him. He returned the kiss tenderly, keeping her close to him. The happiness he had been feeling on this day alone was nothing short of liberating. Like all of the sadness he had felt before had reason enough to melt away completely. All he felt now was the need to make this lost soul before him as happy as he could make her.
This kiss was a bit longer then the others, but it still ended fairly quickly. Alex smiled with a blush to Rulett... A thought struck him suddenly, as he seperated from her, and walked over to the fridge, "Oh yeah, almost forgot."
Pulling out the thing of lemonade, and setting it on the counter, he reached into the above compartments and pulled out two plastic cups, setting them next to each other. A couple of seconds later, both were filled up with the pleasant little drink, and the Thief of Void placed the container back into the fridge, closing it up quickly after. "Shall we go enjoy a movie Rulett?" He said this as he took his cup and handed the other to said troll. "I've got just the movie for ya. You'll love it."

She carefully takes the cup from him and drinks. She sighs in relief as the spicy feeling of the food went away. She tilts her head, confused, wondering what a movie is. She smiles kindly at him, sure that it was probably something nice.
"Of course, Alex. I'm sure that I squeak will love it."
She would hug him again, but she was afraid of causing a mess with their drinks. So, instead, she kisses him gently on the cheek.

He smiled at the kiss, and wrapped an arm around the troll girl. "Come this way. I'll show you what I mean."
------------------------------------------------------------
After a second, the two found themselves back in the living room, Rulett eating some more of her food (Though she made sure to down some of her lemonade when the spiciness factor of the fries started to get to her), Alex could be seen plugging in the DVD Player to the TV, and putting in an odd little disk that probably reminded Rulett of a CD, if she had ever seen one.
Once everything was done, the young man rejoined Rulett on the couch, collecting the remote from the arm of the couch and pushing the play button. "Okay, I figure I should explain." He thought a second, wondering how to put this before the idea came to him.
"Okay, Rulett... Movies are a series of moving pictures carefully planted on either a set of film or a CD like you saw me put into the machine there. The pictures move in sequence to each other along with sounds, music, and a veritable degree of other things that's also put into the CD or film. All of these things work together to create a recording, which people can play through and play back as often as they want. This tech can be used for all kinds of things, recording memories by making home movies, or making fictional works called movies. Movies can either be fictional, cartoon, or based off of real life events. The movie we're about to watch was an animation created solely from a Computer designing application specifically used to create certain images."
He noticed her look. "You'll see in a second."
The DVD seemed to reach it's menu screen, revealing the movie they were going to watch to be 'WALL-E'.

She blinks at him for a few moments. The explanation he gave her only made her more confused.
She sighs softly and turns her attention to the screen, resting her head on his shoulder and cuddling close to him. She gently holds his hand, intertwining her fingers with his.

Alex pretty much figured out that his explanation had been said in vain... Ah, oh well. He supposed the nuts and bolts of how something works didn't really matter that much to people like her. All that mattered was the big picture.
Pushing the play button, Alex leaned into Rulett as well, smiling as that ever familiar song played in the background.
"Out there... There's a world outside of Yonkers. Way out there beyond this hick town Barnaby There's a slick town Barnaby... Out there Full of shine and full of sparkle Close your eyes and see it glisten Barnaby... Listen Barnaby..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The movie proceeded through it's events as Alex had remembered them happening. WALL-E and EVE going through their trials. WALL-E following EVE out into space by hitching a ride on her return rocket and arriving at the Axiom, the grand sight that it was. More of the movie passed up until the part where WALL-E and EVE started dancing around in space just outside the Axiom, WALL-E using a fire-extinguisher to fly around, while EVE used her jet boosters.
Watching it gave Alex an idea, something made clear when he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Rulett was enjoying the movie greatly, going through a wide range of emotions. During the beginning of the movie, she jumped when EVE shot a laser at WALL-E. She smiled and cried a bit at the cuteness of when WALL-E was trying to care for EVE, then leaned forward in excitement as he rushed to catch the rocket taking EVE away. She pretty much overreacted to the movie since she connected to it emotionally.
She smiles happily when EVE and WALL-E are dancing in space, blushing bright green. She cuddles closer to Alex, nuzzling against him as she kept her eyes on the movie. However, she couldn't help but notice him rubbing his chin. She wonders what he could be thinking, gently tracing the length of his arm with her hand, trying not to be too obvious about her curiosity.

He looked down to Rulett's curious expression, but doesn't do anything aside give her a clever little smile. He doesn't say anything, but he squeezes her hand gently and tenderly.
On the screen, the movie had progressed past the dance sequence and had moved on into... Yeah, Alex remembered what was gonna happen next... And given how Rulett had reacted to this movie, he was fairly certain she wasn't gonna like it...
The movie went on, in almost a cruel fashion in Alex's eyes, until it reached the point where it showed AUTO, the ship' autopilot's, true intentions. And of course...
ZAP!!!
WALL-E hid the Plot ticket Plant in his chasis, leading to AUTO to pull out a taser and ZAP WALL-E IN CHEST. EVE let out a scream, GO-4 watched on non-caring, and WALL-E fell down the trash chute, EVE right behind him once Otto took advantage of the shut-off switch that had been placed on her in the Repair Ward.

There are no words to describe how badly Rulett was feeling right now. She buried her face in his chest, her hand balling up the cloth of his shirt. She trembles in sadness, probably staining his shirt with her steady stream of tears. She couldn't imagine why anyone would like movies if the made you this upset.

Alex reacted quickly to Rulett's crying, holding her tenderly. "Rulett it's okay." He sighed a bit. "If movies are making you feel this way, that means it's well made. Disney, the company that made this movie, LOVES pulling stuff like this. It makes the movie interesting." He pats her on the back. "Besides, the movie's not over yet. Look."
When Rulett did just that, she found EVE being woke up by a 'Mouse' accidentally pushing the same button AUTO pushed, reactivating her. Though she was trapped, and events pushed on showing the WALL-R units pushing them into an airlock, they were saved by the unexpected appearance of MO. Things didn't get much better of course, since WALL-E needed a new part, but he was alright for the time being.
EVE, WALL-E and MO escape the lower levels, and attempt to challenge AUTO once more, this time accompanied by all of the escapee's from the Repair ward.
"See? We still have a bit more ground to cover with this story." Alex said with a comforting smile.

She smiles softly, wiping the tears from her eyes, feeling a little better. She watches, inching forward with each moment, silently cheering the robot army.
Still, she was upset that WALL-E was hurt, and confused by the action he did that seemed to have such meaning to EVE.

Alex smiled as Rulett cheered up considerably. He pretty much knew that this story was going to get worse before it got better, but hey, there was a happy ending at the end at least. The movie moved past the showdown between the Repair Ward bots and the Stewards, the good guys saved by an out of control Massage Bot that, quite bluntly, went Bat$#it crazy on the Stewards, a scene that brought out a chuckle from the young man.
From there, the movie went on to it's final stages, the showdown between the captain and AUTO, WALL-E and EVE trying their best to get the plant into the Holodetector and...
Alex winced when WALL-E was smashed like an alluminum can by the Holodetector, AUTO the one forcing the button down to do it. Thankfully before Rulett could feel too bad about this, the captain actually stood up on his feet, the first human to do that in 700 years, and actually challenged AUTO again, this time shutting him off. The plant was quickly found again and, helping Rulett finally understand what was going on, the plant made the ship's online computers set a course to Planet Earth.

She enjoyed the scene with the fight, but was confused by why Alex was chuckling. She watched, hopeful, as the battle between the captain, the robots and AUTO was-
She cries out in shock as WALL-E is crushed. She blinks at the sudden ability of the captain to walk, and almost leaps for joy as AUTO is defeated. She hugs Alex tightly and kisses him on the lips before turning her attention back to the movie. She does blush green, though, realizing what she just did.
She hugs him even tighter, realizing, with wide eyes, what WALL-E was trying to say. She held Alex's arm close, hugging it in anticipation. She could've cried in joy, but the fact that he lost his memory made her just cry instead.
She blinks when WALL-E remembers EVE, squeaking in joy and happily embracing Alex, kissing him before pulling away to look at him and giggle, blushing softly as she realizes she kissed him yet again, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment.

Alex took in the responses, this time with stride, smiling as the movie reached it's end onto the ending credits. He smiled at her blushing face, blushing a lot himself from the kisses she gave to him only earlier.
Smiling, he returned her earlier kisses with one of his own. The kiss lasted a little bit, before the two seperated, Alex trailing a finger across her jaw-line. "Soooo... Rulett. How'd you like the movie?" He chuckled. "It's one of my favorites, but what'd you think?"

She smiles kindly, moving over to sit on his lap, facing him, still blushing quite a bit.
"I liked it. I'm sorry for squeak acting like squeak that."
She shivers a bit from the feeling of his finger on her jawline. She smiles a little more and kisses him once again, wrapping her arms around him and holding him close. She wishes that they could just kiss all day like this, but knows that idea is silly and unrealistic.
