Rulett giggles happily, glad that Shantae said yes.
"Thank you!~"
She looks at Alex, smiling brightly.
"I guess it is! Heehee!~"
She looks at Alex, then back at the half-genie. She was curious about something, but had no idea how to start off saying it. Instead, she goes to the changing room and grabs the four other shirts that fit her. She brings them over and holds up one with a symbol that looked like a stylized green lantern.
"Does this shirt look alright, Shantae? What pants would go with this?"

Shantae took in the shirt. Sure she was unfamiliar with the symbol but it sill looked pretty cute on the girl. The Half Genie was about to answer... when she suddenly remember Alex standing there along with her. "Whoa whoa hold on there." She looks to Rulett with a smile. "First thing's first, let's take care of your friend there. A thing about guys? They don't know a lot about fashion."
She looks to Alex with a smile. "Thank we can have some time to ourselves? This is time for girls after all."
The Thief of Void took this in with a raise of his eyebrow, before looking to Rulett. "She does have a point, Rulett." He shrugs a bit. "If you need anything, I'll be over in the men's department. I think I saw a selection of movies over there."

Rulett smiles and, moving over to Alex, gives him a soft kiss. She blushes green and gently places a palm on his cheek.
"I'll see you later, squeak okay, Alex?"
She giggles, hugging him happily. She then turns to Shantae and smiles at her.
"Ready when you are, miss!"

Nodding to the troll, he smiles as he walks off. Rulett and Shantae watched as he did, walking to the men's section. Once he was gone, Shantae turned to Rulett and crossed her arms to the troll, smiling a bit.
"Sooo... What's yours and lover boy's story anyways?"

She blushes a bit more, playing with her hands nervously.
"He was there for me when I was trapped in a...well...a bad squeak place. He gave me the courage squeak to try and squeak escape!"
She gets a dreamy look in her eyes.
"We stayed in contact squeak ever since, and we grew close over the chat squeak client. We only recently met, and, well...we hit squeak it off from there."
She glances away, her whole face tinted forest green in a mix of embarrassment and happiness, rubbing the back of her head.
"Honestly, I was flushed for him since before I squeak escaped. I was so squeak nervous about it, though."
She giggles softly, tilting her head, kind of embarrassed she went off on a small rant like that.

While Shantae was a little confused by the word 'flushed', it was Rulett's facial expression that helped clue her in on what she meant. "Awww! That's so adorable!" She giggled a bit. "What a romantic little story." She patted the troll on the head. "Come on, cutie, lets get you all fixed up!"

As Shantae and Rulett went about their shopping, Alex himself looked through various movies taking in all of the titles. Steam Boy, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, various disney movies, Pirates of the Carribean... Man there was a wide selection here...

After a while, Rulett had a somewhat-large stack of clothes. She smiles happily at her new friend.
"Thank you for your help, Shantae!"
She blushes, glancing at a bag on her arm. She was kind of nervous about the one purchase.
"Do you really think he'll like it?"

Shantae winked to Rulett, her own collection of clothes in a bag over her shoulder. "Do I think? Sweetie you will be a real knockout! Of course he'll like it! He'll love it in fact."
The two approached as Alex continued looking through movies, a couple choices in his hands, and he only continues to browse... After a moment though, he takes notice of the girls. "Oh! Hey there!" He smiles a bit. "How went shopping?"

She immediately becomes nervous again, glancing at her bag.
"Great, Alex! Everything went squeak great! Shantae squeak was a big help!"
She blushes even more, her whole face forest green, trying to hide the bag behind other bags. She indicates to the items in his hands, curious and trying to take attention away from her nervousness.
"May I squeak ask what you're looking at there?"

Alex shrugged a bit. "Eh, movies of various kinds. My video game collection wasn't the only thing that suffered from the scratch. My Movie collection's gone too." He showed her the movies he picked up. "Check out the current selection. 'Steam Boy', 'Arthur and the Invisibles', 'Astro Boy', 'Madagascars 1 and 2', and oh, a new disney movie, 'Tangled'."
Shantae grinned. "Oh! I heard of that last one. Into romantic movies I take it?"
Alex shrugged. "Hey anything Disney makes is good in some shape or form I think. I practically grew up on the stuff they publish."

Rulett takes the Tangled movie and looks at it, curious. She smiles softly at him and holds it to her chest.
"We should get this one. I love disney squeak movies!"
She thinks about the other purchase she had gotten for him, and worries that he might not like it. She giggles a bit, trying to hide her nervousness. She hugs him happily, kissing him softly.
"I guess I have Alex to squeak thank for that. Not that I don't mind!~"

Alex chuckled at Rulett's statement, and blushed a bit at her kiss. "I was planning on getting it actually, since I figured you'd appreciate it." He looked among the others in his selection a moment, before he looked to Shantae. "Hey, thanks for looking out for Rulett, miss."
The Half Genie shrugged a bit, "Eh, no problem." A smile crossed her features. "I sorta missed girl's night out. It's been a while since I've seen my friends you see."

Rulett smiles at Shantae, thinking a bit. She giggles and rubs the back of her own head, curious.
"If you squeak like, we could hang out more often. What do you squeak think?"
She wonders what Shantae would think of this, and worries about it, pondering if she should have just been quiet.

................. A small smile appeared on Shantae's face at this suggestion. "Aww, thanks! I appreciate the sweet thought." With that sweet little smile on her face, Shantae nodded to Rulett. "How about we trade phone-numbers? That way we can call each other."

After trading numbers with Shantae, Rulett and Alex, after the Thief of Void paid for his stuff, left the clothing store, and continued down the mall. "Well... That was interesting." Alex said as he carried his bag of movies.

Rulett giggles, walking next to him. She holds her bags carefully, making sure Alex can't see into that one bag. It's supposed to be a surprise, after all.
"Yes, it squeak was. I like her, though."
She blinks, finally noticing the decorations around the mall. She looks at him, curious.
"Alex, what's up with the squeak decorations?"
She indicates the white snowflakes and the red-and-green streamers, among other things. She is very intrigued by this, and would honestly like to know more.
