At that moment, Lea ran up to the scene having left her ship at the foot of the mountain. As she did, she was aware of so much stuff happening at once; Wally being back to normal on the ground, unconscious, Otto hugging Rin-Rin whom was grateful to have him back to normal. As for Metal and Misty, they watched as Kaitlin continued to talk with whoever was on the end of that radio...

Lea approached the scene looking to Misty. "Misty, who is it that Kaitlin is on the phone with?"

Sighing, the girl rolled her eyes, "We tried getting a hold of Gantz but-"

By that point, Lea's voice could be heard over the phone as she quickly approached. "You mean you've contacted Gantz? What a grand device, kupo! Here let me see it!"

By that point, Lea was trying to get the phone away from Kaitlin. She actually managed to do as such.

"Lea for the love of GOD-!!" Misty yelled as she joined the struggle.

Kaitlin and Misty proceeded to fight an epic battle of great proportions struggle for the phone, Lea refusing to relinquish it. "What the--no, NO, give me the phone, Lea, this is an EMERGENCY--for crying out loud, GIVE ME THE PHONE!"

Meanwhile, a second helicopter made its way to Mt. Bonsai, bearing the letters CRL on its side.
Kavma originally had no intention of going anywhere near the mountain until his little project had been finished, but now that the--well, it had left the area mere minutes ago. He didn't like the idea of hi--it wandering around the island, but it was unavoidable.
"Mr. Raleigh, sir?" The pilot looked back at him. "We'll be reaching the mountain in a few minutes."
"Good. Contact the medics and tell them to be ready for treatment as soon as we land."
He knew that Maxwell and Kaitlin would most likely attempt to murder him once they saw him, but right now he didn't care.
He had rarely ever felt to frightened in his life.
"Zero...where are you?"

Max sweatdropped as he viewed the epic battle wacky shenanigans before him. "Uh, guys? GUYS?"
James tugged his pantleg. "I don't think they're listening..."
Everything stopped as they heard a loud roar over the phone. Kaitlin grabbed the item and question and yelled into it, keeping Lea at bay via hand to the face, "What the heck was that noise?! What're you guys DOING over there?!"

Prior to the explosion...

"Oh please be fair! I can't help it when I get curious!" Lea shouted as she reached for the phone. However, Misty quickly pushed her back.

She was growling all the while as she did this. "Lea for the love of god!!!" She groaned as she kept the moogle back. "Why Gantz let you into the clan, I'll never know."

The roar from the phone quickly caught her attention, as she turned. "WHAT- What the hell was that?!?"

By that point, Otto and Rin-Rin had joined the bunch at the phone, looking to it curiously. "What the hell?" Otto grumbled in confusion.

Kaitlin, without looking at Otto, pointed at him and said, "Shut up, not now. A.J., what just happened?!"
"...that didn't happen last time..." said A.J.'s voice.
"What? What didn't happen last time? A.J.?"
More noise, then, "What the?!..."Oh, crud, R.J.!" The sound of something being struck followed. "Shouldn't beating that thing shut this down?!"
"... Oh jeeze..." Gantz's voice. "YANA!!! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!!! CAN YOU GET IT?!? What?! Maybe it only keeps people out!!"
"It's worth a try...Yana move!!! Let's get out of here!!!" That Rosaline girl's voice.
Kaitlin proceeded to lose her patience again. "What the heck is going on over there?!" she yelled.
"Can't talk now, later!" There was a click.
"A.J.! Don't--" she stared at the phone, disappointed. "He hung up..."
"Let me see that." Max took the phone and dialed the number again. "...Nothing. What on earth is going on?"
"Well, one thing's for sure," Kaitlin muttered, "Soon as I see Kavma, I am going to--"
James barked, getting their attention. When they were looking at him, he pointed up, yapping, "Does anyone else hear that?"
Now that they all thought about it, they could hear the distant sound of helicopter blades. They all looked up to see about three helicopters, all bearing the Crystal Room LMT logo (Two of them had red crosses on them) flying towards their position.
What caught Kaitlin and Max's attention, however, was the sight of a VERY familiar man leaning out of the side of one of them.
Max clenched his fist, his knuckles turning white. Kaitlin, on the other hand, nearly saw red.
"KAVMA."

No-one on that scene looked more furious then Misty. Okay, yeah, Kaitlin obviously won the cake for who was even more furious, but Misty's justification for her rage was very fair to say the least.

"So THAT'S Kavma..." Otto said with wide eyes; he could feel this man's energy signatures already, and massive didn't even BEGIN to cover it. Seeing Misty's rage however, he turned to the alien girl with a raised eyebrow. "I assume you know this guy?"

"WE'VE... MET..." And she was squeezing her fists so hard she was drawing blood, due to it.

Meanwhile, Rin-Rin and Lea looked up to the man in confused fascination. Lea found herself lifting her eyebrows in confusion, unsure what to make of this man. Rin-Rin was in a similar boat. Metal meanwhile, was prepping his gun. "Well, if he's that dangerous-"

"No kupo."

Everyone turned to Lea in wide-eyed disbelief. "His men contacted me during the fight with that monster... They were trying to help cure him."

"BY SHOOTING AT HIM?!?"

"I can't pretend to know what they were doing, kupo... But they did just help us..."

Neither Kaitlin nor Max paid any attention to the others, both their gazes fixated on the man who had been a thorn in their side for far too long.
Finally, the Helicopters landed in the clearing, the winds generated by the blades blowing up a storm. Armed men and medics came out of two of them, heading straight for Wally.
Kavma, on the other hand, stepped out of the helicopter and stopped a few feet away from them.
"KAVMA!!!"
Surprisingly, Max was the one who made the first move, running forward with his fist reared back ready to punch. "YOU SON OF A--"
None of them even saw Kavma move; in a split second, Max had been blown back and slammed into Kaitlin. "AAAGH!!"
Kavma payed them no mind as he turned to the attendant next to him. "Have the men bring Mr. Kisaragi to the Regnum Dei for treatment. I want this entire mountain sterilized in an hour."
Kaitlin scrambled back up and ran towards the immortal, ready to pulverize him into mutton. "KAVMA!!!"
Once again, they didn't see him move. Kavma grabbed Kaitlin's fist, twisting her arm so she cried in pain.
"Don't you DARE test me, Kaitlin," he seethed, looking directly into her eyes. And what she saw was terrifying.
There was anger--lots of it. But there was fear too. Kavma was never angry or afraid. And that terrified her.
"AQUA JET!!!"
Buizel darted forward, covered in water and ready to dish out some pain. In an instant there was a loud thwack as she was thrown through the air, crying out in pain as Max caught her.
Kavma shoved Kaitlin away, glaring at her. "Your friend is coming with us so we can treat his wounds. My men will escort you to Alex's residence. I suspect that you have questions for--"
Having NO regards for her personal safety, Kaitlin grabbed Kavma by his shirt and seethed into his face, "Where. Is. JARON?! What did you do to him, you sick bastard?! Was the tournament thing NOT ENOUGH?!"
SMACK!
"Don't you DARE talk to me that way!"
Kaitlin stumbled backward, her hand to her cheek. Kavma was breathing heavily. None of them had ever seen him this way, and it was freaky beyond belief. "You have NO idea what situation we're in. And you have NO right to make demands of me, any of you! If you want answers, you will LISTEN to me, and allow us to HELP you, or I will show you that what I did years ago was me being EASY ON YOU!"

"Even if it WAS-"

Misty stepped up, looking angrier and angrier by the second. Perhaps watching the two earlier helped her to understand that she stood little chance. "What is going on, you miserable self-righteous, hack?? What the FUCK happened to Wally?!? WHAT WAS THAT THING?!?!"

Lea stepped up and pushed Misty back. "... I must mirror their concern and their anger here, Kavma sir, kupo." She looked to him with a narrowed gaze. "I've NEVER seen anything like that... WHATEVER it was before, kupo... People almost DIED here, sir. From where we stand, we are OWED an explanation."

Otto watched as the men put Wally on a strecher and carried him off. "And where are you taking Wally?"

Kavma looked like he was about to vaporize Misty on the spot--then Lea intervened.
He paused for a moment, then visibly deflated. "I...yes, you're right, Captain," he said wearily. "That was...rather unbecoming of me. I apologize. It's just that this situation is...well, delicate, I should say. At any rate, I do owe you an explanation."
"You have NO IDEA," Max seethed. "First off, where--"
"Mr. Roxai is underground at the moment, Mr. Chadi," Kavma interrupted. "He is safe for now."
"Underground?!" Kaitlin asked. "What--"
"GIVE ME A MINUTE!" Kavma yelled. He calmed down and addressed Otto, saying, "Mr. Kisaragi is being brought to my airship for treatment, Mr. Shinryu. I can assure you, once we make sure there are no lingering remnants of D.E.V.A. in his system--"
That one acronym did it. Max darted forward before any of them could stop him and punched Kavma in the face. Kavma made no move to stop him.
As Kavma recovered from the blow, Max seethed, "Are you telling me that you actually infected him with Black's stupid virus?!"
"With all due respect, Mr. Chadi," Kamva said quietly, "it was not us who did it. If you recall, a certain man in red was responsible."
Max looked ready to punch him again, but then James tugged his pantleg again. Max opened his mouth to protest, only for Kaitlin to put a hand on his shoulder and give him a look.
"As I was saying," continued Kavma, acting as if he hadn't just being clocked, "Mr. Kisaragi will be brought to Alex's residence once we make sure he is completely purged of it. For those who are unaware, I would like to explain what D.E.V.A. is, but we hardly have time for that."
One of the men headed toward them and tapped Kavma on the shoulder. "The civilian's been loaded onto the copter, sir."
"Good. Have him brought to ship ship posthaste." As the man left, he turned to the group and said, "This is hardly the time or the place for any exposition. If you consent, I will have a helicopter bring you back to the city. If you want any information on the whearabouts of your friend, Max and Kaitlin, then you may ask Mr. Gun for further details. And as for what I did," he interrupted the two's protests, "I will see you again later tonight, and I will give you further information then."
Kaitlin stepped forward and looked him in the eye. "OR you can just skip the intermission and tell us NOW."
The two of them maintained eye contact for a minute more, then Kavma said, "This is one of the times in which patience must be exercised. If you can find the capability to WAIT, then you may rage at me as much as you can this evening. Are we clear on this?"
...
"Fine. But this wait had better be worth it."
Kavma nodded. "I intend it to. Now, Captain, I understand that you have a damaged Rozzarian airship on the mountain. If you consent, my men will bring it to Void City and repair it for you free of charge."

Lea considered this a moment....

A moment later she nodded. "Very well kupo..." She held up an index finger. "BUT. I would like to oversee the repairs." She noticed the looks. "It's not that I do not trust your men, kupo, but rather because, I have added my own... ... Enhancements to the Giruveganus over the years that may come off as unorthodox to your mechanics." She smiled lightly, and wiggled her index finger back and forth. "I'd rather them not touch my personal experiments, you understand, kupo-po."

As that happened, Otto watched as Wally was loaded onto the helicoptor, a worried expression on his face. Rin-Rin placed a hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "It's going to be okay." She said with a small unsure smile.

Misty meanwhile, glared at Kavma a moment more... Really, even if she wasn't going to say or do anything else, there was really very little Kavma would be able to do to change her mind about him. He likely knew it too.

Old feelings like that just refused to die.

"Very well, Captain," said Kavma. "Now, time is running short. Mr. Otto, Ms Rin, if you wish, you may accompany Mr. Kisaragi, but if you don't, you may join the others. Now, if you are all ready to leave, you may enter the helicopter behind me."
Kaitlin continued to glare at him. "And suppose said helicopter explodes en route to the city?"
Kavma gave her a look. "Just get in the helicopter."
Kaitlin kept up the glare as she went with Max and the others to the helicopter, Max recalling his Pokemon as they went. I swear, Kavma...I will make you regret all of this. Even if it kills me.
As Misty passed by with them, Kavma said, "Misty, a word please."
The others tensed. "I have no intention to hurt her," said Kavma. "I merely want to talk."

Misty looked unsure about what this was about as she was pulled aside. With Lea, she boarded a helicoptor bound for her landed ship, while Metal, Kaitlin and Max boarded the helicopter bound for Mr. Gun's Estate. Otto and Rin-Rin were prevalent in the copter accompanying Wally, thought it looked like Otto was being given some attention as well due to his own wounds.

Back with Misty and Kavma though...

"......... What is it?"

Max looked from the helicopter at the two of them, standing in the middle of the almost empty enclosure. The pilot had told them that they would leave once Misty came aboard. "Do you think she'll be all right?"
"It's Misty. Of course she'll be fine," said Kaitlin. "And if not...Kavma won't know what hit him."

Misty and Kavma faced each other, Misty tense, Kavma calm, his arms crossed.
There was silence save for the sounds made by the helicopter blades. Finally, Kavma let his arms fall to his sides.
"Go right ahead, Misty. I won't stop you. Goodness knows you need it."

Misty stood there a moment, looking at Kavma with wide eyes. Was he really-?

A second later, her fist was raised. Misty was fuming by this point. She wanted to put her every frustration, every insecurity, every ounce of rage into one punch. Just one punch and she would be satisfied. She reeled back...

Every ounce of hate, everything she had lost, what she nearly lost because of him. Everything was in her hand it felt like, weighing it like a load of lead. She could just see her fist slamming into his face, maybe breaking a jaw if she swung hard enough. Her eyes however never left Kavma's. She could see the fear in his eyes... Not necessarily for what was happening now, oh no, nothing like that. But rather, out of something else... This once proud man was now a mess and a half, worrying over some horror she couldn't fathom...

Finally she closed her eyes and reeled back more....

After what felt like an eternity (Though really it was about a minute and a half....

Misty dropped her fist, unclenching it.

If this motion surprised Kavma, she glared at him a steely glare...

"You know... I realized something just now..."

She said this with an even and equally steely tone. "Even if... Even if I do hit you, it won't change anything... It won't change the past... It won't bring Toon Town back... It won't bring my life back... It... It won't bring my Otto back..."

She shook her head.

"No... Your not worth it..."

She turned away a second later...

"You never were."

And with that, she walked away, and boarded the Helicopter.
