Hearing this, the dragon promptly calmed down and pulled back. So long as no one else intruded and the siren remained by its side, it decided it could put up with the infernal child a little while longer.
Just a little while longer. Just to wait and see how this played out. It was best not make any hasty actions.

Forsaken sighed. "I was hoping to find some clues here but I doubt that will happen at this rate," she offered as her ruined cube hovered over.
Delta had seemed to become a bloodied companion cube with odd heart looking runes. Forsaken sighed as she patted the cube.

"Clues?" Crona asked. "Clues of what kind?"

The dragon tilted its head in confusion. Did she have her own mystery to solve? It wasn't even aware of the curse that had caused the loss of its memory, let alone that the physical state it currently was in was not its true form. Was there something greater afoot? Something that affected the siren as well?

"That's hard to explain," Forsaken offered. "I'm looking for traces of something that might have happened in the past of this island. And so far my search has been fruitless. But on the other hand I finally got to see a dragon. That's a once in a life time thing back in my former home world."

Crona placed a hand on their chin, considering what they had just heard. "Something that happened before... I seem to remember..."
They shook their head. "Forgive me, nothing's coming to mind..."

The dragon listened with mild curiosity, not entirely certain if Forsaken's search should mean anything to it but still interested in their mutual quest for answers. And then to think she actually considered it an honor to be in a dragon's presence...
Perhaps this would work...

"It was possibly a long time ago. Before any of us came to live here," she offered to Crona before looking to the dragon. "I thought maybe some of the clues would look like the mark across my chest."
She gestured to the red bleeding wound looking mark on her corset.

They bent low. "....I don't... remember ever seeing a mark quite like that one before," Crona sighed. "I'm sorry for being useless..."

Clearly, the dragon had nothing to add on the matter either. It also seemed to be getting somewhat antsy, judging by its frustrated expression, twitching tail and claws clacking against the metal floor.

Forsaken nodded to the pair. "Fair enough, my friends," she offered before taking a breath.
Her lips opened to let another song spill out into the night air.

Crona closed their eyes, listening to the music soaring from her lips. They could almost hear the vibrant music accompanying her vocal performance, the pink haired youth giving a soft hum as everything seemed to flow around them.

At the sound of Forsaken's song, the dragon calmed down again, her voice soothing it to the core and easing the troubled thoughts that had been stirring in its mind.
This is why it needed the siren...
To help it forget...
Forget the aching emptiness inside...
The feeling of not being able to remember...

Forsaken kept singing happily after finishing the first. She started dancing about as she continued into her next.

Crona smiled, gently clapping their hands as the siren sang her tune. They smiled, bopping in place as the rhythm all but engulfed their very being. The inner peace within Crona was simply astounding.
