Ranuen looked at Yugi ponderously at that comment. "Never even heard of it actually." He commented. "I've been trying to get stronger since this has happened in an attempt to break the spell with my own power." He admitted. "Though at this size, I'd need to be several orders of magnitude stronger than the one who cast it to pull that off." ...Considering the mage who had done this to Ranuen was one of the most powerful magic users on the continent they had met, that would be a hell of a feat. "Success has been... mixed." He commented, and then glanced back at the dance floor. "Ah. And I take it you two want to be able to come back to this place, and not be kicked out for your.... "dancing"?" He asked with a grin.

Yugi raised an eyebrow. "You mentioned Issun-boshi; you didn't know the rest of that story? That Oni he stabbed from inside had that mallet and he dropped it when he fled. Issun-boshi got brought to full size through it and married the princess he saved."
Suika nodded. "And yeah. The sake bars in Gensokyo aren't bad but this place is on a whole other level."

Ranuen laughed. "Too bad. We could have tried to raise a little hell. Get things a little interesting." He commented gleefully. Then heard Yugi's comment and face palmed. "Right. That mallet." He said, can't believing he forgot that part of the story. "Honestly, where I'm from Issunboshi's a myth. A legend. Didn't think he actually existed, or if he had, that elements of that story had been vastly exaggerated." He stated. "Never thought that hammer would have actually existed!"

Yugi laughed at that. "Well, that's Gensokyo in a nutshell for ya. It's a weird place where common sense holds ya back; it runs on disbelief. The fact that Issun-boshi is a myth in your world means that in ours, it's very real, as well as all the items involved with it. Hell, Suika knows the girl who's one of his descendants."
Suika nodded. "Mmhm. Reimu kicked the shit outta her 'cause she was causing trouble."

Ranuen seemed to ponder this for a moment. "So it's like... a world of paradoxes? It doesn't exist therefore it does?" He asked. Slowly getting the idea. Maybe. "It's impossible so it can be done?" He added as a second suggestion. "That sounds like an amazing place, if that's true!" He exclaimed. "I'd love to pay it a visit sometime." He added as a comment. He gave the club another look-around. Seemed like the angel girl Panty had disappeared at some point. Good riddance he thought. "I have to say. With all the people I've encountered since this spell hit me, it's nice to meet at least two people who aren't trying to squash or take advantage of me." He mentioned to the two oni, cheerfully.

Suika laughed heartily, nodding. "Hell yeah it is. The place got partitioned off from the human world around... ah, hell, what did green-hair say it was? The... Mee-gee Era or something like that?"
"Meiji." Yugi chuckled. "And yes, it's a place where youkai and the like can live freely. And you probably can, honestly; I think the place is connected to the place in the city that links to other worlds. Pretty sure Gappy let the connection go through."

Ranuen nodded. Pondering what the two Oni's were telling him. "I'll definitely have to go there. All the more if Issunboshi's mallet actually exists there!" He exclaimed, moving to the edge of the table. "Especially since I now have an invitation!" He joked. "But... you say youkai run free there? Is it okay for a human like me to go there?" He asked. "Are all the youkai in there as friendly towards humans as the two of you?"

Yugi shrugged. "Eh. Not all Youkai are nice towards humans. But that's fine, very few of 'em would be stupid enough to mess with you while we were around, and the ones that would wouldn't be strong enough to do anything meaningful."
"Youkai are weird in general," Suika said, taking a swig from her gourd. "...Ourselves included, honestly. Still, we might be able to help ya. I'm sure I could convince Reimu to let me borrow Shinmyoumaru's Mallet for a bit. What say ya? Sounds like a plan? I think we can get to Gensokyo directly from that place where ya can go to other worlds."

Ranuen smiled. "And you'd do this for me? For free?" He asked, curiously. Hell. It could be a heck of an adventure, but the generosity on the part of the two Oni girls was genuinely surprising to him. "You two would do that for a guy you just met without wanting anything in return?" Actually now that he thought of it, that was a little unusual to him. But so far they'd defied conventional Oni expectations, so maybe he shouldn't be so surprised. If Angels could be... well.... like Panty, why couldn't Oni be genuinely nice?

Suika laughed, nodding. "O'course. Millennia tend to mellow folks out; 'sides, what kinda mountain deities would we be if we didn't help out the little folks once in a while? ...Ah, no offense, heh."
Yugi smirked. "Like we said before, Gensokyo's a place where things tend to be kinda upside-down. Yeah, youkai aren't always the nicest, but... well, a lotta times, they're just kinda neutral."

Ranuen's eyes widened. "W-well that's really kind of you! Success or fail, I guess I'll owe you two a favor at least for this!" He exclaimed, unaccustomed to someone going this far out of their way for him while expecting nothing in return. And to think it was a pair of Oni at that! This place they were from must really be out there. "S-so, how long do you think it would take us? And when could we get going?" Ranuen asked curiously, hopping up to his feet. He was interested now, so Suika's comment about "little people" completely shot over his head. Which was probably good, he didn't like comments like that.
