........ Erin watched this go on a moment, letting out a breath at just how badly this all had gone. She knew Alex's intentions, she understood why he hated the game. All of the God-tiers did really... She turned to look at Lizzie, still silent, still unsure how to take all of this, still unsure about how to react... "You go on ahead to the hospital, Todd. I need to take Lizzie back home... I'll be right behind you though." Todd knew why. Erin had all but started living in the hospital after Evelyn showed up there needing intense healing.
Lizzie remained silent, near tears. Everything had gone wrong. Alex had taken that dreaded form once more... Even if he appeared to be somewhat in control of it, Lizzie had never wanted to see it again... Alex knew she didn't...
She just hoped Lizzie would be okay... Home alone...

Evan sighed and sat down on a nearby rock, nodding to the group as a whole, Carter still cradled in his arms. "Yeah... You... go on ahead. Don't worry about me."
As the others began their departure, Brendon turned to give them all a gentle look. "If it's all the same to you guys, I'll stick with Evan."
"You don't have to do that..."
"Who said I did?" Brendon offered as he sat down next to the disgruntled keymaster.

"He's your sprite guide thing...." Forsaken offered weakly before falling back onto Yang.
Todd nodded and sighed. "See you there then," Todd offered before getting the cube to fly off to the hospital.

Evan silently watched the others leave, gazing emotionlessly into the midday sky. Once alone with Brendon, he took a good look around...
The top of the mountain had been leveled. The highest point was now the spires of the quest bed.
Kendall's body was gone, blood and all, as usual.
There was the hilt of a knife lying on the ground. The blade seemed to have disintegrated.
And now there was this guy...
He stared at Brendon, his somber expression never changing. "So... you were... his guide?"
"Well, it's like Beth said. I'm your guide," Brendon stated calmly, smiling in an attempt at lightening the mood.
Evan sighed and turned away. In any other situation, being in the presence of a sentient being resembling Brendon Urie would've been the coolest thing ever. Now... he felt no joy. No enthusiasm. No reason to believe any of this should mean something to him. There was nothing for him here.
Far be it from him to inject some hope into the situation. As if that was ever his jurisdiction...
Wanting nothing more than to return to where he belonged, Evan pulled out his phone and opened up Pesterchum. He needed a ride home, not to mention a sense of familiarity.
