Ryo was wide eyed through the whole appearance of Clockwork, shivering as the being swooped in and completely pwned Sirion in a single punch. He was outright speechless, watching the entity disappear as his friends started making walks for an exit. "So that's who we're up against," he gulped, then looked at Orcana, trying to get to his feet.
"Hey, you certainly seem badass enough to handle yourself. But even then, don't be afraid to ask for help, either. Like I said to Sirion, doing stuff on your own can result in several ruined plans from the rest of the team." He made a beeline for Alex, his sketchy summons fading back into paper as they slipped into his book.

Evan was a bit shaken, if only from sense memory. The fact that Clockwork hadn't attacked them was... at least somewhat comforting, even if his purpose for protecting Evan's dream self was dubious at best. He cast a glance at Kendall and Lagola, the duo whispering to each other and, to his surprise, looking equally terrified. Then he turned to Patrick, Ace and Alex...
Patrick gulped, shaken by Clockwork's sudden yet brief presence. "So that was him, huh?"
"Yeah..." Evan frowned at his feet. "That was him."
"Welp! I'm ready if you're ready, Ace!"
It seemed that everyone was in agreement that their business had been finished here, so Evan shrugged and walked alongside his teammates despite not knowing what the next step was. He looked over his shoulder as Sirion and Orcana departed, then he asked, "So... those two... What was that all about?"
Having wrapped up her private conversation with Kendall, Lagola murmured, "S-Sirion is... our session's Bard of Void. Orcana is the Thief of Rage. They're... W-Well, they're a couple of jerks who always pick on me! And everyone!"
"Aw..."

Sirion scoffed at Alex's final statement, shooting him, Evan and Lagola one last scowl. "Gladly. Should've known following the brat's voice would just be a waste of my time."
The blue soles of his hover skates lit up, propelling him off the ground. "Don't say I didn't warn you sacks of dead meat." Then Sirion rocketed into the sky, flipping all those beneath him a double deuce before vanishing.
"Yeah, good riddance," Ace grumbled as she watched Sirion disappear into a cloud. A cloud that... for some reason showed a weird blue robot. By that point, Ace was done trying to justify the things she saw in this weird place.
She took a deep breath and took Patrick's hand. "So... now what? Do we just... go home?"

............ Alex let out a groan as he watched Sirion fly off and soon vanish into the aether. It was funny, he already had a feeling that that would not be the last time he'd be dealing with that idiot... And now the thief was almost hoping that Sirion would be significantly deflated once that happened. He turned to look at Ace and Patrick... Then turned to look at Evan... The dreamself looking at him back....
........... The Thief of Void let out a sigh. "I don't think there's really much else we can do for now... Though.... I might have to look around here a bit myself when I get the chance..." That made sense. Ace and Patrick mentioned that it appeared most of the planets were gone, which made sense considering... But.... Surely not all of them were gone... Maybe at least one was stashed away somewhere, hidden in the aether.... The only question was... Where exactly? Maybe there was information somewhere in Skaia...
When his attention caught on Ryan though, he was reminded of some of the things he still needed to take care of... And not just with him either....
"Come on Ryan, I'll take you to my place you can see Lizzie again. You two can talk. Would you like that?"

The violet troll turned away, seemingly just to glare at Sirion, but more to hide the blush to her face.
"Uh yeah. Just point me at 'er. I talk her down suckah. And then we gon' krill this Workclock nerd."
With that, Orcana sprouted her wings, and flew off...

Ryan looked up. "Lizzie survived?" he asked. Based on his reaction it seemed Ryan- this one at least- never really interacted with her. "Um... I guess...?" He had a hard enough time trying to talk with everyone else- now a sprite was in the mix! How was he going to be able to talk to her?!
...he was very fortunate his expressions couldn't be seen while he followed behind Gantz.

Kendall took a deep breath and decided to take the initiative. "While Aaron takes Ryan back to the island, the five of us can stay here a little while longer and talk. Once Evan wakes up, I'll bring the rest of us home in time to celebrate his birthday."
"Aww yeah, birthday breakfast!" Patrick cheered, throwing an arm around Evan.
"Sounds good to me!" Evan agreed. "So... you think I'll be okay if I stick around here?"
"Seeing as how Clockwork needs to keep your dream self alive, I believe that's a safe assumption."
"Nice!" Evan smiled and waved to Alex and Ryan. "Well, good seeing you guys! Guess we'll catch ya later!"
As the team members went their separate ways, with Alex and Ryan beginning their trip to the island and Evan, Patrick and Ace carrying out their own conversation, Lagola looked up at Kendall and whispered, "When you brought me here... that was your future self, wasn't it?"
Kendall shamefully averted his gaze. "Yes... Yes it was, and yes it will be."
"You... still don't know who Clockwork is, do you?"
The truth hurt. It hurt in a way the angel was not used to. His growing blind spots were just as troubling as Clockwork's mere presence. And though he regretted to admit it, withholding the truth would be even less helpful.
"...No."
Kendall thought he had this all figured out.
It was that moment that made him realize that he too was at the game's mercy.
