For the longest time, Evan did not react to the intruders. Though he was aware of them, he simply did his best to tune them out and pretend they weren't there. Maybe then they'd go away.
And so he continued to scowl at the window, his back facing the trio, Soundgarden blasting in his ears. He deserved his misery, and he was going to accept it and stew in it whether these guys liked it or not.

Aaron took in the pitiful form before him, rubbing his chin and trying to come up with some sort of idea to catch his attention..... He was sure they had it already, but they needed him to turn to them and actually listen. "Guys guys..." He turns to Beth and Ryan motioning them in. "Huddle. I have a plan."
The two gather close, the three standing in a circle. With little more warning, the thief of void started whispering. "I'm going to make a portal out. Ryo, you see those notebooks on the table and the laptop? I want you to grab up all of that stuff... Beth You swipe Evan's Ipod and earphones. Once we have the stuff, we rush out through the portal screaming. Sound good?"

"can we some how dunk Evan in a bath? This room smells worse than a farm...." she answered in a whisper. "Also I will need some one to distract Evan while I snag the IPod and earbuds."

"I can do the hula and stomp around while getting the books," Ryan offered, grinning ear to ear. He seemed to enjoy this plan just a little too much.

Evan's scowl tightened, as did his grip on his little black box. Although he couldn't make out their words, he could at least tell that the intruders were mumbling to each other, and it irritated him that they seemed to think he couldn't. He curled inward, his frustration building, ready to burst out.

"THAT'S A PERFECT IDEA RYAN. DO THAT. And you Beth? Wait until Evan's looking at Ryan THEN snatch up that Ipod and earbuds. We should get him out of his room. That's step 1. We can worry about a bath once he's out." Alex was definitely enjoying himself at this point as he grinned widely, just looking so impish and monkey like. "Okay guys ready? Go team God-Tier! Reeeady...... break!"
The three broke their huddle and quickly got into positions, Alex made a portal out of the room and waited for the fun to begin...

"My brother is as playful as a monkey and just as mischievous," she commented in a light hearted tone.

Ryan could not contain his giggle fit. He very openly tromped his way to the laptop and books, happily dancing around in place once he capthalogued them. "OOOOOOOH~ I GOT THE STUFF! IT'S NOT A BLUFF! NOW'S IT'S MY STUFF, NOT YOURS- SO ROOOOOOUGH~!!!" With his final note ringing like an opera singer and Beth ready to swipe Evan's pod and buds (if she didn't already), Ryan bounced toward the portal. "Tough Break! Shoulda paid more attention, buddy boy!"
With the laugh of a deranged clown, Ryan jumped into the portal, still giddy as a hyped up chimpanzee.

Beth was crawling on the ground and reaching up to snag the device and ear buds. Once she had them, the girl flew out of the portal. Half heartedly hoping Evan would follow.

Evan cringed at Ryan's first note. Otherwise, he didn't move. He didn't even bother to look and see what the heck was going on. He didn't want to give them the satisfaction. Happiness made him miserable.
"OW OWOWOWOWOW HEY!" It wasn't until Beth swiped his iPod and ear buds that Evan sat up, only because she had to quite forcibly yank the latter out of his ears. Once he had finished scrambling up and swatting at nothing, he could only catch a glimpse of the three god tiers escaping through the void portal before it sealed shut.
Well... great. They took his music, his computer, and his author notes. Fan-freaking-tastic.
It was painfully obvious that they expected Evan to chase after them to get his stuff back. Well, tough nuts. They knew his stance. He didn't need to explain himself to them. He wasn't playing their game. He wasn't playing this stupid game.
He could've easily picked something off his bookshelf to distract himself until they finally left him alone. But... no. They were going to ride him on this. He just knew it.
Evan stared down at the black box still in his hand. At least they had left him that much.
What was wrong with these people? Why were they being so blasé about their situation? Their entire world, everything they knew and loved, was gone. And it was their fault. There was nothing to prove by continuing this twisted descent into madness. One wrong move and the game would destroy them too. And even if they did manage to finish this disaster piece, it wasn't going to magically resolve the trouble they caused. They still destroyed Earth. They still caused the deaths of billions. This new universe they were apparently trying to create, regardless of what those STUPID TROLLS might have said, would never be the one they left behind. Even if it was a carbon copy... that's all it would ever be. Just a copy of what they had obliterated.
Not that any of this really meant anything. They weren't God. And they had condemned what He had given them.
His world... his family... his beloved... the life he once knew... he was never going to get it back.
And the more he thought about it... the more Evan realized there was nothing left for him here.
He wanted to go home.
Having made up his mind, Evan stuck the black box in his hoodie pocket and pulled the Paramount Key out of his hoodie's neck, using the latter to unlock the window. He then put the key away again and opened the window, taking a moment to observe the breathtaking landscape of the Land of Locks and Gospel. Dead silent, as usual. It was too bad there weren't more pleasant sounds to muffle what was to come. ...Still, the mountains, the cathedrals, the sunset... it really was beautiful. Swift would have loved to see this place.
"Soon..."
Ready now more than ever to leave his pain and his failures behind him, Evan climbed onto the windowsill and, without hesitation, threw himself out of his house and off the side of the mountain.

When Ryan and Beth rushed out, Aaron himself laughed and followed them out, leaving the barrier open for Evan to chase them out. In fact he fully expected to do so immediately... However rather then hearing scrambling movement in the other room and Evan storming out in some sort of fury, rather, nothing occurred... Instead, the room grew eerily quiet.
.... Aaron raised an eyebrow as he looked to the two god-tiers and held up a hand telling them to wait a moment...
Then he stuck his head in through the portal-
JUST IN TIME TO WITNESS EVAN TOSSING HIMSELF OUT THE WINDOW.
"OH SHIT-!!!!!!!!!!" He practically barreled into the room and leaped out the window after him, leaving Beth and Ryan to wonder what the hell had just happened to prompt him to vanish into the room... However if they took a moment to look themselves they would find the window open in an almost depressing manner...
-------------------------
Evan fell soundlessly to the land below, just letting the wind whistle around him, the ground still far away but fast approaching.
If the wind weren't too busy whistling in his ears, he might have heard the thud of a Sonic Boom as something zoomed after him.
He DID however feel something grab him and start slowing down the momentum by putting on the brakes in mid-air. Once the figure slowed down the descent enough, he quickly took off back up to the window. As for the figures identity-?
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR NOGGIN?!?!?!? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN JUMP!?!?" Aaron's face was just as recognizable as ever, even behind that thief of Void mask. "Don't worry, I'll have you back in your room before you know it!"

Beth blinked hearing Aaron's words. Her head poked back through to find an empty room and an open window. "Well... That was not a wanted result..." she uttered before stepping through the portal again.

Ryo followed her in, quickly putting the journals and such back where he found them. "Um... yeah... me neither," he whimpered.

Black hole sun, won't you come And wash away the rain Black hole sun, won't you come Won't you c- WHAT THE-?
Evan had been completely at ease. Tranquil. Perhaps even graceful in his dive. But he certainly hadn't been expecting to be grabbed and halted right out of thin air. Very slowly too. Seemed even whiplash wouldn't be so kind as to end it for him.
For a moment, he could only stare wide-eyed at Aaron as they gently drifted back up the mountain. The thief's identity never even occurred to him. All that he could process was the fact that he had stolen Evan's escape!
"NO!!!" Evan grabbed Aaron's chin with one hand and his arm in the other, his leg repeatedly kicking the thief's chest as he furiously struggled to break free. "LET! ME! GO!!!"

The physical blows really did little more then further draw in Aaron's pity for the poor guy. Was this REALLY how far he had fallen? Was he really so desperate that... THIS seemed to be the only solution? Was that really just how far he was willing to go to escape from all of this? It was quite sad to think about, but unfortunately that seemed to be the case. "Can't do that Ev. Now stop struggling, I'm taking you back to your room." He stopped a moment to readjust his grip on Evan before continuing on up. "Okay there's the window.... Just gotta keep going up..."
