It had been a really long day for the poor thief as he finally landed down at the hotel. First there had been that confusing stint with Clockwork the night before... Then there had been that thing concerning sneaking into Evan's place and stealing Swift's ring... Then using it to FINALLY get that crazy demon girl out of where he had jailed her in his void modus. Getting her to Evan's place afterwards had been easy... Getting the thanks for it had been easy.... Actually GETTING THAT FREAKING MAGIC RING BACK ON SWIFT? THAT HAD BEEN A CHALLENGE. He swore he was thoroughly bruised after that run-in. He'd need some time to get over the soreness before he got back into action anywhere...
So... MAYBE going to find Yang and the other members of Team RWBY would've been counterproductive to that.... But he didn't really care... He just wanted to hold Yang, say hello, and apologize for vanishing on her. He had done so over the chat already, but now it was time to do so in person.
Thankfully, he still remembered where Todd and Yang lived, so actually getting there was a walk in the park.

When the elevator door opened, a beat up looking Alex walked out of it, his form covered with a number of scratches and bruises, a rather notable shiner being the most visible of these, though the claw marks lining numerous points of his body could be seen as well...
Which just sucked since these were his FREAKING GOD-TIER ROBES. HE LIKED HIS FREAKING GOD-TIER ROBES DAMMIT.......
"Someone better be here... And with a DRINK.........."

Yang happened to be walking across the hall as the elevator dinged. She looked over out of habit. "ALEX!!" She cheered which caught the attention of Weiss and Ruby who poked their heads out of Forsaken's room.
"Who's Alex?" Weiss asked to her partner.
"Her boyfriend. The one in the tattered navy robes," Ruby answered. "And he looks like he just went through hell..."

The tired smile said a great deal of things.... But no matter what, Alex was truly happy to see Yang again. When she rushed over to him, he was quick to pull her into a hug.... ".... Sorry I took so long to get back... There was a couple things I had to deal with... You're uh... Kinda looking at the results of one of them... Needless to say, Swift is back to normal and spending the day with Evan." HE NOTES THE LOOK. "NOW THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WANT YOU TO GO HUNTING SWIFT DOWN FOR A FIGHT. She had no control over her actions. Breaking out of that rage trance was just as much a challenge to her as it was for me surviving it and helping her out."
He holds her close. "But right now... Can I please just sit down? As you can probably tell, I've had a REALLY long day...."

Yang nodded. "We're setting up something for Todd and Forsaken. You can come sit. We were just about to have lunch," Yang offered as she directed the weary God Tier to Forsaken's room. "I wasn't going to go after Swift. Do you want a bag of peas for that eye of yours? It looks really bad...."
Ruby winced as she got a good look. Weiss darted into the room that she and Ruby had been sharing.

"An icepack would actually be GREAT, thanks...." Yang guided Alex into the apartment before taking him to the couch. When she let go, the poor guy flopped back on the couch letting out an exaggerated breath... When Yang came back with the ice-pack, Alex gratefully took it and placed it against his eye. ".... So... Um...." ... He took her hand... and tried for a smile. It was a weary one, but one he hoped was as endearing as he would've liked it to be. "I'm.... Sorry about vanishing on you... And for taking so long to get back... Did... I worry you guys any-?"
Sure it had only been a few days... But really, when you vanish after having taken a rage guided form often given to you by demons... Well, such a question would be warranted he figured.

Weiss quietly watched him.
"I'll lecture you later for disappearing. But you did make an effort to get back in touch so all is okay. You had your reasons and honestly.... I doubt I would have been much use against a Yokai like Swift," Yang offered as she lead him to a seat.
He could see signs saying 'Welcome Back!' and 'Happy Birthday, Forsaken and Todd!' hanging about the room. Markers, pencils, crayons, and water colors seemed to be strewn across the kitchen counter. Weiss seemed to be working on something behind a small cardboard divider.
"Yes. You worried Ruby, Todd, and I. Weiss hasn't formed an opinion yet," Yang offered.
"He's a bloody bum! Showing up after being gone so long and putting you in one of those broody moods. I haven't seen a reason to approve of you dating my teammate," Weiss voiced loudly.
Ruby gave an exasperated sigh. "Weiss why the hell crawled up your ass and died? Alex makes Yang happy," The patched huntress commented.

"No no, she's right." .... He let out a breath. "Look, what happened happened. I lost my cool... But I think it kinda had to happen anyway... It was just something I needed to confront and something I needed to do... I'm just sorry it ended up worrying everyone." He leaned back in his chair, taking in the decorations..... His eyes widened when they glanced over one sign and realization crossed. "W-WAIT A SECOND!! BETH AND TODD'S BIRTHDAY- ? Wait what day is it now??? Is that today???" He shot to his feet, he was definitely very sore, but this had demanded his immediate attention. "SHIT SHIT!!! I still need to get gifts for those two-!" It only made sense, Beth was his direct Ecto-sibling, thus meaning that Todd was Erin's. "Okay I just need to figure out what they would both li-"He was quickly pushed back onto the couch. "WH-YAAAANG!! WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY~~~~~~~~~?? I Can't forget my Ecto-sister's birthday-!!! I need to get something for her and her new twin brother-!!" He had also noticed the welcome back signs of course, though it had been easy to make the assumption that those had been for him. Sides a birthday was SERIOUS BUIDNESS. ESPECIALLY THE BIRTHDAY OF AN ECTO-SISTER, BECAUSE THEN BIRTHDAY'S JUST HAD THAT MUCH MORE MEANING.

Yang sighed. "You've got two days still. Their birthday is on the 3rd and it's only the first. Hell Beth isn't home from the hospital yet," she offered as she sat with him. Yang gently pulled the thief into a hug.
"Weiss.... what are you working on?"
Weiss looked up at Ruby. "It's a surprise for Miss Snider." Her attention turned to Alex. "How are you related to Forsaken?"

...... Alex's blush grew a bit larger at Yang's explanation. "OOOH...." Well, Yang pulled him into a hug, that always felt nice. As he kept the icepack over his eye, he took some more time to realize that more suddenly made sense. Beth had always been bad about using her blood attacks to the point of drainage and personal injury. It would make sense she was at the hospital for that since his mother wasn't around to look after her instead...... Hmmmm that would also, likely explain where Erin was.
According to Lizzie, Erin had went back to the hospital herself to continue looking after some people there. Of course, Beth made sense, but Lizzie also mentioned a second person as well... Though just who, he wasn't sure... He'd have to go there at some point and see for himself. "Okay, so I still got a little time to rest up before that happens... Good to know..." It was around that time that Weiss stepped up and asked her question. "THE STORY IS INCREDIBLY LONG AND CONVOLUTED, BUT... The short version of it is that me and Beth are technically brother and sister. And since Todd is the male version of Beth, the same COULD BE CONSIDERED TRUE as well."

"How convoluted could it be?" Weiss returned.
"She had to get surgery on her shoulder..." Ruby offered. "More than the time we have to set up." She soon brought over a few cold meat sandwiches and a few cans of some local Mountain Dew knock off.
"Thank You Ruby. Todd's sorting out the paper work and hanging with a pair of friends. Seems a female Seer of Heart showed up at the hospital along with an Evelyn Kesling... who he said was a female Evan... Yeah... mass confusion..." Yang offered as Ruby set the food and drinks on the coffee table which looked an awful lot like an old school steamer trunk.

"Convoluted enough that I think it would need three stories to properly explain it... And even then you would STILL swear I was lying." He lets out a breath as he pressed the ice pack to his eye. "Just know that I do consider Beth as a sister, and Todd with that in mind as a brother. And Beth has made it clear at least once or twice that the feelings are reciprocated."
As Ruby and Yang explained the situation, it was only then Alex started to realize just how convoluted this whole SITUATION was becoming. It wasn't bad enough that Ryan was getting back into the fray, but now female selves of Ryan AND their Evan?... WAIT... Alex looked to Yang with wide-eyes. ".... IT'S... PROBABLY A GOOD THING THAT ERIN IS STICKING CLOSE TO EVELYN THEN IN THAT CASE." He noted the looks. "We ran into that guy that attacked us at the temple again, me, Evan, Kendall and some of the others... It turns out he wants to kill Evan. But only when he's god-tiered like me so he can absorb his hope powers."

"Alex.... Evelyn is a god tier...." Ruby offered.
Weiss at this point looked exasperated. "What the hell is a God Tier?"
"Think you can handle giving Weiss a demo after you get something in your system?" Yang asked softly.

WELL FUCK.
Alex practically smacked the icepack against his face to show his exasperation-OW HURT PAIN. Which in turn irritated his shiner. Groaning, he reached into his void modus, THANK GOD HE FINALLY HAD FREE REIGN OF IT AGAIN, and pulled out a ribbon. Taking a moment to firmly plant the ribbon ontop of the icepack and wrap the ribbon around his head, he did his best to wrap multiple shoe-string knots to keep it in place. The Icepack finally stopped shifting around after the 4th one. "YEAAH.... ONE THING AT A TIME......"
One thing at a time. He had been starving after all...

After helping himself to some food and drink and getting some energy in him, Alex proceeded to explain further to Weiss, it looked like it would be necessary at this point...
"SO... God-Tier's are essentially a certain group of people that are capable of ascending to the level of Super human complete with super human capabilities when certain conditions are met." He held up his hand creating a void portal for Weiss to look at. Then he stuck a hand through, allowing the hand to show up through another one nearby. One could note he had to stick his arm down to the elbow into the portal... When he pulled back through the second portal and closed it he stopped a moment before pulling it out the rest of the way, pulling out what looked like a book from the blackness. "I myself am a Void player, capable of storing items within my own personal pocket of nothingness, cloaking myself with it to appear as though I am not truly there, or even using it to Uh...." He did remember fairly well Weiss' own reactions to thieves in the past... "TAKE items that may become necessary for the events to come... Each God-Tier has their own basic and very powerful capability in this way that greatly differs from one another."

Weiss nodded and scooted away slightly. "And Yang said she didn't want to talk about your role. Hell even Todd got clammy about it when I asked. Now I see why," she noted.
Ruby rolled her eyes. "That and we all know how you get on the topic of thieves," Ruby retorted.

Alex chuckled bashfully.... "Well... I mean... Come on! You've read the stories of Robin Hood right? A thief doesn't HAVE to be the bad-guy. I don't like thinking myself as one." He held up his hands simply. "Sure lately there's been some slip-ups, but I've been doing my best to get past all of that." .... He notes Weiss look. "... I've been.... Messed up for a very long time... I'm man enough to admit that. Circumstances made that so... I'd had two years to get past it... but from the looks of recent events it looks like that still wasn't enough... Regardless however, I'm making progress."
