As Nora and Beth continued chatting away about a potential job in her shop, Alex and Yang had started looking things over in the store at their own pace. Alex continued looking through the costumes smiling at some of the choices currently available... He somewhat smiled when he found what looked like a costume designed in the image of the three Crystal Gems from Steven Universe, with a fourth one being a small red shirt with a yellow star on the chest for Steven. Alex briefly stopped to admire the handiwork on the three costumes, including the visor like shades tied around the Garnet costume before moving on to the next selection. He was actually somewhat impressed by a costume made in the image of Lloyd Irving's get-up from Tales of Symphonia... It almost made him laugh seeing it. He still remembered when he chatted with... HIS Beth about how Tales of Symphonia was his first fairly beaten and first great RPG in his lifetime and how it had affected him.
"There's quite the selection here. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this is what Beth would choose to do with her time... Still, I love the quality of some of these things~."

"Nora. Calm down. Seeing as it would be hard for me to get a hold of what ever contacts you would write down, I'm going to just ask a few questions to see if we would work well together. And as for things to do- cleaning, learning how to use the make-ups and appliances, prop creation, making molds for custom orders, learning how to make the appliances, and sewing if you don't know how," Beth answered. "Are you willing to learn these skills? What is your current address? I also dabble in a Dust Energy Propellant subsitute."

Yang smiled. "There is a fitting room. Do you want to try some things on?" she asked with a smirk as she found a replica of her own old outfit. "I doubt she'd mind."

Nora gave a shrug. "Hey, I'd be willing to learn those skills," she offered. "It might take a lot of getting used to... as for current residence, I've been hanging around the alleys recently."
It soon became apparent how badly Nora smelled to everyone.
"Also, a dust substitute?"

Alex considered this a moment before looking around the costumes another moment.... HIS EYES CAUGHT ON SOMETHING THAT JUST MADE THE IDEA WONDERFUL. "Okay~. Let's do it!" He picked up the costume and followed Yang to the back. Once in the dressing room, it was a simple matter setting the costume to a temporary option in his Costume quick change menu, and selecting it. The instantaneous change allowed him to switch into the costume in a matter of seconds, and when he looked himself in the mirror, he grinned widely at the sight. He was now dressed up as Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy 9, one of his favorite games of that past era. The costume even came with a rubber tail sewn up with rough but smooth looking decorative hair strips to make it appear as a monkey tail. img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101216073836/finalfantasy/images/1/11/Dissidia_Zidane.pngThe green sleeveless vest with the showy white frill, the white shirt underneath, belts latched around the edge of the no sleeves. The two sheathes where one could sheathe away two knives, blue jeans, metallic looking boots. He already felt so much like that ever classic Theater peformer as he walked out of the changing room... Though he made sure to once more wrap the ice pack around the eye before leaving... Comfortingly though, it looked like the swelling was going down and the bruise was starting to die away. Still, the ice-pack eye patch was still necessary... AT least for now. "Hehehehe~! 'Do I need a reason to help people?' 'Don't worry Princess, I shall do my very best to kidnap you~.'!" .... He stopped and let out dorky little giggles after saying this. |

Beth sighed and looked Nora over. "Yes you can work here, Nora. There is a shower in the back of the shop. Let's get you washed up. And no more alleyways okay? You are gonna come be my roommate. And I won't take no for an answer," the shop keeper offered. "I only ask that you don't eat everything in my apartment in one go."---- Yang couldn't help but laugh at the sight. She gave a shrug, walking toward the back. "So I guess that makes me an apprentice?" she asked, smiling big as she could. "Also... no promises, your fridge may end up giving me its secrets."

Alex laughed at Yang's comparison, picking up the costume's decorative tail and spinning the end of it like a lasso to his side. "I have been called 'playful as a monkey' before by friends. Plus, Zidane's always been a favorite character of mine!" He chuckled a bit as he looked somewhat proud of himself.... However, he then noticed Yang picking out a costume herself and rushing to the dressing room. For a Thief of Void, he ENTIRELY missed what she had carried off... It.... Looked like it was made of leather though. "What the-?"

Beth nodded as they walked into the back. "Fair enough. Also.... do you mind me washing your clothes? I have a lot of spare clothing that you can wear and we can get you more," she offered once the were in the back.
Nora could see the store room was rather organized and seemed to be set up for classes. A curtained off area was in the back left hand corner. "Shower is behind the curtain," Beth offered.

It took Yang a bit longer to change into what she had chosen. After a bit of time, the blonde walked out with a sly smile on her face.
"'You've played enough hide and seek, my scurrying little friend!'" It was obvious that Yang was trying her hardest not to laugh.

"Alright, be out in a minute!" she cheered, running inside the shower and flinging her clothes aside. "Just lay me out something in my size, please!" The sound of rushing water was immedietely heard, Nora shrieking. "COLD, COLD! Aaaah, I'm okay!"

His expression probably just made Yang laugh even harder. Eyes the size of saucers, pupils almost the size of dots, his face COMPLETELY RED and the redness even extending down to his neck and his ears. Really it was little wonder he wasn't suffering a nosebleed at that point in time.
Because, HELLO?
HIS GIRLFRIEND WAS DRESSED AS BAYO-FUCKIN'-NETTA.
AND THE LOOK WAS WORKING FOR HER.
OH... MY... GOD.............

It took a while, but Nora finally turned off the shower. She reached for a strewn about towel, swiping it up and drying herself off in a hurry. Next thing anyone knew, she grabbed the clothes by the shower, trying them on. "Huh, these clothes look really cool!" she admitted alloud bfore hopping out of the tub. "Thanks for letting me borrow the soap and such!" she cheered, now dressed in her new attire.

Weiss taking a picture of the scene did literally nothing to phase Alex or even catch his attention off of Yang... Nah, what prompted even the slightest change was when Yang turned to briefly shout at Weiss for snapping said picture, the turn let Alex at least get a side view of the costume's open back... WHICH HELPED LITERALLY NOTHING ASIDE FROM MAKE THE BLUSH EVEN BRIGHTER.
Briefly he wondered if this was how normal anime characters felt seconds before blood spurted out of their noses. Such a thing was physically impossible for him, but holy crap, that helped nothing given the blood circulation was heating up his head like no-one's business. Maybe that was the secret. The blood literally burst out just to escape from getting broiled.
OH MY GOD......!
Needless to say, it looked like the poor guy wanted to look away. However his eyes were very much glued on the sight before him. He couldn't turn away even if he wanted to.

"Just wait til you see the apartment. And no problem. I'd rather help people out when they need it," Beth offered. "And to answer the question about the Dust Energy Propellant Subsitute, or Deps. It's a crystalline dust I created a while ago. I use it in conjunction with my own version of the Myrtenaster and other bladed RemnantKind weapons. I haven't been able to test it in a weapon like Magnhild or the Ember Cecilia or even Cresent Rose...."

Yang was blushing as she turned back to Alex. "Should I buy this?" She asked calmly after having a small laughing fit at Alex's reaction.
