"If she's on Nexus Island I can find her. I just need to secure my office." He closes the book, then looks up at her again. "She'll be back to you in no time. Promise."
He may not get any destiny for such a small intervention, but... hey, the job has always been its own reward. And it'll get word out.

Lilliana nodded. "Thank you for doing this," the sprite offered as she floated near Captor.

"Heyy, don't sweat it. This is literally my job, and I love doing it." Again with the bouncing on his feet, once his notebook and pen are stowed. "By all means, keep looking for her, it'll take me anywhere from a few days to a week. Wanna tell me a bit about the session, though? We can walk. And it'll help."
Well, maybe it'll help. Maybe he just has no idea how to end this interaction. And is curious. His own session was a disaster... and a long time ago.

Lilliana nodded. She floated along side Captor. "It was an odd session... our Hope player... well to put it simply... was more depressed and distraught than many of Innistrad's own inhabitants. He had lost a lot upon entry... family, friends, a lover- the works. I found it surprising that a dormant walker spark didn't ignite with in the boy," Lilliana started. She paused to make sure Captor was keeping up.

Cap's keeping up, watching her with an expression somewhere between concern and curiosity. At the pause, he nods.

Lilliana stole a glance at the man as he nodded. "It was slow starting. And I wasn't to helpful to my player for the first few weeks... mostly due to having well... becoming a living being from an adult's card game... but that is another story. Once the ball got rolling I grew to care for my charge. Then she went for her denizen.... that in and of itself is a suicide mission...." She offered. "She survived... barely. The girl has seen her mother, father, sister, and her sister's partner slain in front of her eyes. After the battle... she was bleeding terribly and asked one of the griffin consorts to take her to her quest bed. After she tiered... I found her needing my help less and less.. I walled myself in what her mother had called the sewing room."

The story hits him a bit like a rubber band to the wrist, or perhaps a lego on the foot. Or, you know, a nail in his heart. His jaw tightens as he glances away, brows knit in that sorrowful way.

Lilliana looked to the floor. "Then things started to go wrong again. Beth willingly went to her brother to tell him some not so great news. I could only guess that he was already having a bad day and her news was the straw that broke the camel's back... He snapped and went Grimdark. Beth flew away much like when my spark ignited when my own brother was resurrected by a botched potion I made to heal him and tried to kill me... And I've been following her ever since.." Lilliana stated as she finished her tail.

"... that's awful, lilliana. You and your players have my deepest condolences. I promise, I'll find Beth. I will." That's all he can manage to say, and only in a hushed voice.

"Thank you," she offered as she floated along side Captor. "And they would appreciate that."
