Evan waved to Erin and came to a halt beside her, interrupted before he could explain his presence. He did a double-take at the new girl's entrance, properly confused, but somewhat relieved by Erin's excitement and Todd's expression of familiarity. At least she wasn't a stranger to someone here.
Of course, his confusion resurfaced when he was described as someone's guy self.
Still, he at least smiled and nodded politely upon introduction. "Hi! Nice to meet you! I was just dropping by to visit Todd's female self." He tilted his head a little and pondered Vitt's title, realizing that he still hadn't met Alex and Forsaken's Knight of Light yet.
"Heheh... Yeah, I, uh... I remember you mentioning something about me looking like a male version of someone back at the garden. Didn't think much of it at the time. So... there's a girl version of me then?"

Vitt rolled her eyes at that. "I don't like hospitals, not after... Well, nevermind that now..." She paused to look at Evan.
"Indeed, I am the Knight of Light that Erin and Todd are more familiar with, and if we're being honest, I'd rather not meet male me. There would be no fourth wall anymore," she continued, stopping to give an unapproving glance at the fourth wall. "I see it's still in place though, so that means he's probably not around."
"Also," Vitt continued, "There is indeed a female version of you. In fact, I'm sure there's an opposite gender counterpart of everyone in this... reality," Vitt paused to glance at the fourth wall again, "... And I see the Pangender was pretty accurate with what you'd look like."

Todd face palmed. "You are doing the meta thing again," Todd offered as he actually looked at Evan's robes. "And I see you're a Hufflepuff too."
He could only imagine what shenangians both Hope players would get into on the island. "Thought I will warn you that Evelyn has been depressed a lot lately..."

"Yeaaaaah.... She's been having a really tough time lately. Me and Todd have been doing our best to look after her, be good friends and tend to some of her needs... But... Yeeaaaah...." The girl let out a sigh. "I mean Ev. You're a male version of her. You oughta be somewhat similar in how stubborn you can be when you get down like that..."
The thief shrugged as she phased her soda into a void portal to keep it cold and opened up her pack of Reeses, popping one of the cups into her mouth upon removing the wrapping. "It's actually good to see you here Vitt. You've always been this influence of stubbornness in our game. Though... Now that you're here, I feel safer about properly... Discussing some of the things she told me before." She notes the look and the Kunoichi let's out a groan. "I apologize. But I wanted to be safe and talk to you here where you're withing my sphere of influence. You know how it is, The closer you are to a void player the harder it is to overhear?"

"Ahh... Yyyyeah..." Evan awkwardly rubbed his neck. "When I'm down, I'm... content to stay there until I want to be happy again. M-Maybe I could... talk to her...?"
If he was being completely honest with himself, talking to a female version of himself was... nerve-wracking. It kind of made him question what kind of self-evaluation he would get out of such an encounter. Nonetheless, he had to wonder what had brought her to her low point. What she had discussed with Erin...
"Although, I'd hate to keep Forsaken waiting... Not that I have anything else planned today, so..."

"Give me the gist of it," Vitt said, taking a moment to shoot a glance at Evan. "Also, unless you're the Time player, generally talking to alternate versions of yourself, gender flipped or no, gets weird. Our Tsi- judging by the face she still has the same name- said that much at least."
Snatching the other Reeses out of the packet, Vitt took in the dirty look Erin was giving her. "Hey, I've been stuck in-between worlds for a while. I figure I can have one. I'll even let you glomp me right now if you'll let me have it."

Todd gave an apologetic look to Evan. "Want me to apologize for the weirdness of my sisters now or later?" he offered loud enough for the pair to hear. "And Beth's right next door to Eevee... Evelyn. So two birds one stone."
Todd gestured For Evan to follow him.

Erin stuck out her tongue at Vitt, but decided to let her have it. Paradox Space after all... "... MOVING ON... I'll tell you the tale on our way there."

The bunch made their way down the hall, Todd and Erin leading the way. "So yeah, putting it very basically, our old session is completely fucked, this guy called Clockwork is a disgusting FREAK, I think we should pump Eevee's stomache and that is why she's so defeatist right now." Erin knew she was laying it on thick... But Evan already met Clockwork and thus he needed to know this ahead of time... And as for Vitt? Well... She would've appreciated the blunt honesty. "I shudder to imagine how many times that monster did something like that to ANY version of us..." Besides, it would be better to briefly go over this story, under cover of void barrier to prevent panicking an eavesdropper, as they made their way to Eevee as opposed to repeating the story right in front of her.

"Holy crap..." Evan was... Well, to be honest, he was at a loss. He was well aware that Clockwork was after hope players, but to hear that he had pretty much obliterated AN ENTIRE SESSION just to get to Evan's female self... He had been warned that Clockwork had that capacity for destruction, but this? This just made him all the more uneasy.
And he had... kissed her? The basic concept was unsettling enough, but... WHY? Evan was glad to know that his female self was safe, at least, and he wanted to believe that Clockwork had failed to acquire her powers... but still, the circumstances were grim, to put it VERY lightly.
"Well... Maybe I oughta tell her what I know about him. If she's willing to listen, that is." Evan awkwardly cleared his throat. "Just, uh... Just to clarify, who am I seeing first? I told Forsaken we'd have lunch, and this whole alt-gender alt-self thing is kinda spur-of-the-moment..."

"Well, if she needs to get her stomach pumped, get a stomach pump. I'm sure there's someone in this fuckin' place who knows how to operate it. Get the venom... poison... whatever out of her. We need a Hope player..." Vitt paused, diverting her eyes to the opposite wall for a moment. "And we need our friend back."
"Also, you said this is Dimensional Island, right?" Vitt took in the looks of her two teammates and Evan, who seemed to be paying attention to how she stressed the name of the place in particular.
"I hate to break the obvious solution, but if we're on Dimensional Island- and by extension, Dimensional Clash-"
The lady knight tapped a few small buttons on the side of her glasses, a familiar-looking website showing up in the reflections of her glasses.
"Why did it not occur to you to check the old site to see what we're up against???"

Todd fell quiet for a few beats.
"Did it ever occur to you that some of us have been here so long that we can't access the site? Even then how are we to know if it's the not the version from our world? And if it is- that is missing several dozens of profiles we would need," he replied as he put on a purple holo-visor and touched a button to turn the device on.

Erin meanwhile pulled out her holo-keyboard which flashed up a screen. She typed at it a moment. "That's not my excuse. Mine is that I already tried looking around, using our old links to pull up the site... Honestly speaking I couldn't find any mention of this jackass anywhere..." Se flipped through the site's character graveyard and approved characters. "He doesn't match any of our present baddies. The Dark Insects, The Wizard or his cronies... There's no mention of a Clockwork... Anywhere."
However what Todd said caught attention. "It could be that I'm not accessing the right universes site? I dunno... All I know is, WE SURE AS HELL NEVER HEARD OF THIS GUY BEFORE NOW... He could be something exclusive to our gender flipped selves game...."

While the other three discussed the relevance of this website, Evan could only stare at them as if they had all suddenly turned into unicorns braying about finding Candy Mountain. Seriously, WHAT... IN JONAH HILL... WERE THEY TALKING ABOUT???
"Rrrrrrrriiiiiiiight..." Evan awkwardly maneuvered around the trio and continued down the hall. Maybe it was best to let them talk this over amongst themselves. "Well, I'm just gonna check on Forsaken, if you guys don't mind..."

One could see the screens change... "Damn hospital wifi," ...
Only wind up at an identical-looking website.
"I just changed it to mrsaturn123 and lookie what I found here."
