Elsa's footsteps were comparatively whisper quiet. She kept her eyes on the best while treading right behind Wario, ready to grab the stone-suited man and fly them both out should this creature even twitch funny.
Still... she had to smirk. Her heart was racing and she was potentially staring down a great threat. God, it felt good to be alive.

The light of the sun continued to pour through the hole in the room's roof, bathing the massive beast in warmth as it continued to sleep. It seemed almost incapable of hearing the pair walk by.
Once Wario finally managed to get out of its earshot, he gave a very big sigh of relief. "That... was close..." he heaved.

"Whew... That was tense," Elsa chuckled, pausing to stretch. "So what's our next move?"

Wario looked around, growling a hum. "Well... with any luck, we might find-a something really interesting down this hall," Wario grinned. He waddled down the corridor, taking notice of the rather large amount of vines growing all over the inside of the temple. Some of the vines even seemed to be blocking pathways.

"We just might," Elsa mused, following closely behind. As she looked around at the overgrowth of vines, she half-consciously pulled out the bladeless sword hilt she had nearly used before. "Need I should clear a path?"

Wario looked where she was pointed, stroking his chin. "Sure! Clear the way!"
(you may decide what kind of room they wind up in)

"You got it."
With the flip of a switch and a low hum, a cutlass-shaped blade of pale blue light blazed from the hilt. With a few swings, Elsa quickly sliced away the vines blocking the corridor, paving the way for Wario and herself.
After cutting away the last of the vines, Elsa found herself staring into a large, circular room illuminated by a sun roof. The very center of the room appeared to decline into a shallow pit. "Hmm..."

Wario stepped close to this decline, looking down. "...Wonder what's down there," he asked, soon looking around the rest of the area. It seemed like the only thing of notice was that pit, odd as it would seem...

"Only one way to find out!" Elsa's jet boots roared to life, propelling her further into the room and down into the pit. From there, she simply hovered over the stone crevice and observed what it held.
"Looks like it's just a bunch of dirt and weeds. 'Looks' being the operative word."

"Nothing but useless garbage?" Wario groaned, stamping a foot. It wasn't on pusrpose, but part of the stone cracked when her stomped on it. "...Whoops. This place really is old..."

"Yeah... Although..." Elsa touched down right at the edge of the pit, where she picked up a rock and tossed it in. The ground shook for a moment or two, then the floor of the pit split open, revealing a deeper, darker chasm.

Wario wasted no time getting down there, tumbling into the deeper pit and looking around. "...Wow it's dark in here," he groaned, trying to get a read on the situation.

"Well, let's see here." Elsa flew down and pulled out her cell phone, turning on the LED light to get a good look around.
The floor of the pit was covered in long, jagged spires; Wario had just barely managed to avoid most and crush one beneath his stone girth. Elsa hissed slightly when her light shone on the skeletal remains of one not so lucky explorer.

He looked down. "Oooh, Good thing I was wearing this rock," he nervously chuckled. The big man waddled along, looking for anything else that might have been helpful. "Hmmm... doesn't look like there's any treasure here to me," he sighed. "Did we just fall into a giant death pit?"

"More or less..." Elsa murmured, touching down and brushing away some of the dirt beneath the cadaver and picking up something shiny.
It was a gold pendant depicting an odd-looking creature with a serpentine body, a skeletal head and angelic wings, flying in a circle and just barely meeting its tail in a sort of incomplete ouroborus. In the center was an engraved quote written in some strange, archaic alphabet. Needless to say, Elsa's curiosity was well and truly piqued.
