Even given that he'd had a bit of exposure to this when he was coming through the area for the first time with Blake, Robin still found the nature of the city to be rather jarring... At the least, he'd remembered the location of the hospital, and had brought Corrin and Corrinne there after they'd left the cemetery.
Indeed, as he'd said, the medicine they had there was far more advanced than anything any of them had seen; much different from the staves and rods they were familiar with. It hadn't taken long at all for their injuries to be patched up, and soon, the three had gone into the city proper, to the main plaza.
Corrin had already had a bit of an... interesting experience. When they had gone to eat something while they were waiting, he'd been startled by a machine he'd never seen before that had shot two slices of bread out of it. ...Had he not had Yato put away due to being in a hospital, he likely would have stabbed the toaster. As it was, the Manakete was leery of eating the toast.
After an explanation, the young man was... rather embarrassed. He was glad when they'd left the hospital, though the plaza really wasn't much better; he felt a bit overwhelmed by everything going on. Even the capital of Hoshido had never been this packed with people.

Corrinne would say that the hospital was... definitely advanced. Even though they were completely clueless about staves and rods, they definitely knew what they were doing. But that was all the Manakete would admit.
While she was waiting for her brother, one of the shrine maidens- er, nurses- offered her a cup of soup. She had accepted, but was bewildered when it came out of a machine that made a strange humming noise and gave a very loud ring. She made it a point to refuse the soup, even if it was tomato...
Leo would have taken it though. Elise too...
Even the nurse's explanation would not convince Corrinne to take the soup, which she was now regretting. The pain in her chest was replaced by her stomach's constant growling.
"Not even the sewers of Windmire or Castle Shirasagi town are like this..." Corrinne said for a lack of better words. "Just what is this place?"

A black boot clad boot dangled out of a tree. It's owner seemed to have fallen asleep with a book in her lap as a cat ear twitched.
After arriving in the city, Blake had explored for a bit before going to one of the mom and pop shops to buy a journal. While writing and drawing for her newest entry, sleep had claimed the girl.
Her ears twitched again. She stirred awake slowly as a golden eye lazily opened to look down. She sat up and looked down below her a bit more.
"Robin?" She yawned. That is poor form and you know it, Blake, she mentally scolded herself as she looked to the three.

"Blake?" That was a familiar voice; Robin looked up, smiling as he saw the Faunus girl, waving. "Sorry for running off on you so suddenly; it was a good thing I went when I did."
Corrin tilted his head slightly. "You know her?"
The blond nodded in return. "I do. She arrived here around the same time and place as I did and we traveled towards this city together." He turned back towards Blake, gesturing to the twins. "Blake, this is Corrin and his sister, Corrinne."

"Erm." The Manakete didn't particularly enjoy being put on the spot like that. Her brother maybe... But she wasn't really that kind of person. "What he said... I'm Corrinne, and this is my twin brother, Corrin. And as you may have gathered, we're kind of... lost..."
Corrinne took note of this Blake person's ears... "Beg pardon, miss, but are you by any means a shapeshifter?"

Blake gave a confused look before getting down. "Shapeshifter? I hate to say those aren't a thing where I am from, Miss Corrine," she offered as she stood in a more business like manner. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Blake couldn't help but look over the nearly identical pair of people. They look so much alike. But how they carry themselves is different, she mentally noted.

Corrin offered his hand as well. "How curious... you do have some similarity to a couple of people we know."
Robin nodded. "These two were under attack by those unusual people I saw earlier and I was able to save them; they got some medical attention and... well, apparently they arrived here by complete accident."

"It's a long story, and please don't ask me to say the name of our intended destination," Corrinne said with a nod and a wince. "To cut the long story short- though I'm sure my brother would be happier to give you the longer version- we jumped, we fell into a portal, we landed here, we were attacked, Robin saved us, and, well..."
The Manakete paused, taking in the city. "We're here, and hopefully everybody else is too..."

Blake nodded. "May that be the case for both of you. In your friends getting here, I mean," she offered as her ears twitched while locals talked.

Corrin bowed to Blake. "Thank you. It's been... a bit of a convoluted mess getting to this point."
Robin put a hand to his chin. "Now that I think about it... Hm. Housing would probably be an ideal next step."
"Well, that might not be. We..." Corrin went quiet. That's right. Lilith wasn't anywhere near them. "...Hm. Robin's right..."

"Housing does sound nice," Corrinne agreed. But we should try to find Lilith while we're here...
"But... I don't see many houses here. Unless they're all underground. Or I need glasses..."
She put a hand under her chin, scanning the city for any form of housing... Nope I don't see anything.

Blake gave a soft smile. "I think my team mates are housed in a hotel near here," she offered. "We could try there. Yang said the rates were reasonable."
In truth, the hotel was the second to last place for her to check for her odd teammates.

Robin seemed just as perplexed. "Yes... I'm not sure where people could even live around here. But alright, let's go check out this hotel."
Corrin nodded. "It's a good plan. You know where this hotel is, Blake?"

"A hotel, eh?" Corrinne asked. "Should be interesting... Hopefully we don't have to live out of it though."
She gave a short nod. "Lead the way... Do they have staff to tend to your needs there by the way?"

Blake pointed to a sign that was a few stories up. "This way then. And honestly we'd have to ask that when we get there. I just hope they have a gym or dojo..." she offered.
