But yes, it does. Heartless are... rather vile creatures. They're more-or-less creatures of darkness who take Hearts from people; it's how they feed."

Eligius dispelled his blade, resting a hand on his hip. "Hence why it's important that I fight them on my little test journey here. Now... you said you were an Artici or something like that before, right? What exactly is that?"

Artemis sighed. "You're not from my world then... Artici are test tube created humans. It's a race of moldable beings that usually don't grow or last that long. Average life expectancy is 5 or 6 years before new and improved models are rolled out." she answered. "I hold the record as the oldest Artici."

"...Curious..." Eligius rested a hand on his chin. "Artificial humans, then. My, other worlds have some strange things. So you're the oldest? I'm assuming you were... 'designed' specifically for assassination?"

"26 eventful years of age. Designated and trained given I started as a baby to my caretakers. I'm also a decent weapon creator," she offered in reply.
