A single green eye cracked open. "Go away, sis. We don't open 'til like, 7 tonight. Go annoy someone else." Lobo pulled his wings over his face and tried to sleep.

WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM. Lobo's next... bed... thing registered being LIFTED INTO THE AIR AND BEING SLAMMED INTO THE GROUND. "OKAY SIS I'M UP. SHEESH FOR THE LOVE OF FARVAHAR STOP THAT-"
It was then that Lobo took note of Loba's strangely new indigo and green wardrobe. And the windy spear in her hand-
"Sis, why are you wearing destroyed versions of my clothes? And is that my spear??"
"Uh-huh. It's that time of year, bro. I got your abilities." Loba winked, a mischevious grin on her face.
Lobo sensed a desire for trouble in Loba's heart... And promptly fainted. Turning towards the fourth wall with a cheshire cat grin, Loba winked. "That was easy."

A short distance away from the bar, a pair of green angels watched this from what appeared to be a pair of old binoculars.
"Oh look, Fenella and Sampati, both with unfamilar powers forced on them. Would've perfered no powers, but I suppose this makes revenge easier," Said the paler, taller angel.
"I agree, Keruv! So when do I get to hit them with a flamechuck?" Replied the shorter, darker angel
"Shut up, Vulcanus. You can get one whack when we finally knock them out. Now, let's get in and show them the power of us Fotias."
"AYE-AYE, KERUV LIDERC SHAMASH SERAPIS, THE ONCE AND FUTURE PRINCE!!" This earned Perdix a slap to the back of the head.
"I said shut up. I swear, you MPs get dumber with every new batch... Hang on, are you using your gravity powers on the lock-"
"Nope! I'm doing something else! I can move stuff with my brain now!" Perdix said with a happy and smug expression, hands on hips.
In spite of this, Liderc couldn't help but make a comment. "... You have a brain?"
"Yes!"
"You're supposed to be insul- nevermind..."

"Oh come on you scaredy birb," a blonde taunted to her water winged companion.
"Yang really? You have wings made of fire and didn't you get in a fist fight with a server there anyways?" her companion reminded calmly as his feet touched th4e ground.
"That's why I brought you along, Todd. You got some sort of water abilities and evidently water puts out fires so we're safe," Yang offered as she landed next to him. "Though I will admit I was hoping to get your powers again. They were kinda sweet."
"I don't even know who or what I got last year. Forsaken is moping around because evidently she was made a civilian and Weiss has become a member of the Murphy family.... Almost got hit in the face by a waterball this morning after you and Blake startled me," Todd answered as they walked up to a pair of new angels. "Wanna bet you got your abilities from one of them?"

"Vulcanus, get ready. I need you to go in as a distraction. Then we'll chicknap them and beat them to a pulp with cold iron rods until they beg for sweet, sweet mercy."
There was no response from Perdix. "Did I hear something that wasn't complete and utter loyalty? I swear, you MPs get worse with each new batch..."
The darker angel, evidently named Vulcanus (or Perdix), had instead taken to chatting up the new arrivals. "Hi there! My name is Perdix Vulcanus! One and only personal assistant to Bennu Gnowee! Older brother of Stymphalia Demeter! And temporary assistant to Keruv Liderc Shamash Serapis!"
He was completely oblivious to Liderc's utterly baffled expression behind him, or the resulting outburst. "PERDIX!!!"

Yang and Todd blinked.
"10 Lien that the yelling one is the fire user," Yang offered.
"You're on," Todd offered in reply before looking to Perdix. "Well I'm Todd and this is my roommate Yang."

"Ah! Pleased to meet you! We're here to... I forgot, actually! Something about anomal- Ouchie!" Perdix rubbed the back of his head, having earned a slap there from Liderc.
"Stop talking. Sheesh, you MP Partridges talk away too much." He flipped his hand at the two new arrivals. "This doesn't concern you. All I need to do is break in, chicknap the owners, then beat them with cold iron rods until they beg for sweet, sweet mercy."

"Uh, hey!" It was now Perdix's turn to try and defuse it. "I don't think he means it! Really! Really!! He's just a real joker-"
"Actually, that was dead serious."
"Shutupyourenothelpingyourcase." Perdix's grin went sheepish. "Hey, lady! You're really pretty! Wanna go loot graves sometime!"

Todd raised an eyebrow. "So you're opening a rival bar and want to attempt to off Loba and Lobo during a time period where you don't know what powers either will have?" He offered trying to point out how stupid it sounded. "Especially since you just told one of their regulars."
"Can I torch the green winged one that isn't Perdix?" Yang asked as fire started to lick her hands.
"Not yet," Todd offered.

"Pssh." Liderc gave a mocking laugh. "Even if the fire roars like a furnace, it doesn't scare me. How can you burn a flame? Now, Yang, was it? Let me give you a proper demonstration as to what pyrokinesis is."
With a flick of his wrists, a pair of short naginata came into existence, although their original owner didn't seem to notice certain... crystalline changes to them. "I may be outnumbered, true... But I'm too hot to handle!"
At last, he pointed the twin blades at her, to...
Absolutely nothing beyond that. Liderc then took in certain... changes to the naginata. Namely, the new crystal appearance to the blades, and the dark red colour of the handles.
"Argh!! What the actual fuck?! VULCANUS! Help me! Set these on fire so I can show them what proper flames look like!!"
"Eh. No can do." The shorter angel had taken to floating top... what appeared to be a force field. "We gots new powers! And your naginata look cool!!"
"... Perdix. Go fuck yourself."
A pause, then...
"I don't know how!"

Todd's eyebrow twitched. "Yang. Roast him. I have to go talk to Loba," he offered before grabbing Perdix's shirt collar thing and dragging the not so bright green wing with him.
"With Pleasure~" Yang purred as her wings flared up and opened. "The full name is Yang Xiao Long. And this Little Sun Dragon is about to make some fried chicken~" She was soon was airborne as a odd mechanical whirl was heard. It seemed Yang had come ready to fight if needed.

"... Ah, goat crap."
Liderc's form was enveloped with a faint green light as it shifted, becoming quadruped with thick forelegs, oddly covered in pale green crystals. Yelping could be heard as the man-beast-with-wings attempted to beat a hasty retreat, a hooked tail held low between ints legs. At least this still works!!
"Running running running running..." As it said that, its jaw revealed crystalline teeth.

The door forced itself open, disregarding the lock. Where it once stood was Loba... wearing what appeared to be her normal attire... in Lobo's colours. That also did not account for the brooms and mops being blown around in the background.
"You need something? Does it relate to that thing?"

"Actually Loba. I just brought Perdix over with me so Yang wouldn't scorch him while attempting to roast another Angel by the name of Liderc, who some fucking way got my powers. First Yang last year, now this Liderc ass hole. Also he was planning on attempting to chickennap you and Lobo. After doing so beating you with cold iron of some sort," Todd answered. "Also, I got your thing." He opened the water wings to show what he meant.

The dancing mops, brooms, and now tables continued to dance on the winds blowing around. With a snap of her fingers, a table and three chairs stopped at them. "Wanna go prank my bro?"

Unfortunately, Liderc fell over, the crystalline teeth biting into his tongue, drawing green blood. Slowly reverting back, he spit out the green fluid...
Which began to dance...
"... Hmm..." While reverting the rest of him, Liderc kept the crystalline teeth, biting into his left hand, drawing more green blood... Make a weapon! The drops of green blood formed into tiny blades.
"Taste this! Blood Eag- er, Swift Rapid-Fire Shuriken!!" At that, the tiny green blades launched themselves at Yang.

Yang swerved around the shurikens. "You're going to wear yourself out if you keep bleeding so much," Yang taunted as she landed near him. Balls of fire soon being flung at the male. It was evident she was aiming for the wings.

Liderc growled, recalling the blood blades. Unfurling his wings, he took to the sky, the green liquid travelling with him, the fireballs scorching the ground instead. "Never give your foe the height advantage."
Spinning into a ball, the blood formed into a sort of blade that attached itself to the angel's head... Who then proceeded to charge down with the new head blade, which was crystalizing with the rapid descent.
My my, we're getting awfully close to that critical-looking box, aren't we?

Yes. Yes they were getting closer and closer to the rather critical looking box.
Yang threw a few more fireballs before flying up to attempt to dodge Liderc and his spiked crystal helmet.

Liderc just narrowly avoided planting the blade into the ground and the fireballs. It's getting awfully close to the power box, too.
"Die already! Insta-Kill Five-Talon Slash!"
Reforming the blood blades into what appeared to be talons attaching themselves to his feet, he flew up at a quick speed, preparing for a diving kick-

At this, Loba ducked under the table. After a moment of confusion, Perdix followed.
