"Actually I have that paired with Granny Smith apples. And yes you are..... Dis... was it?" she offered in reply.

Plagg jumps for joy and zips through the door to the office, the sound of munching soon coming out of said room.
Adrien awkwardly scratches his cheek. "I forget he can do that, sometimes..."

"...Dis?" The Præt'nos once again looked between duo, taken aback by the nickname. He hadn't been aware of it at the time of his short-lived head injury, but upon hearing the nickname, he did somewhat recall Adrien referring to him as such. It was catchy, he had to admit. "Oh, heheh... Disquietude. But... you can... call me that if you want to..."

Beth nodded before leading them to the back office. The room looked more like a combination between storage, a haphazardly put together studio, and what looked like an odd classroom with paints and makeups everywhere. "Again sorry for the mess..."

Adrien shrugs, showing that it doesn't bother him, as the three of them step inside. Plagg, already inside, is busy rounding up whatever cheese he can find.

Fortunately for Disquietude, the room was just dim enough not to be especially painful on his body. Good thing, too, because he really didn't feel like expending anymore energy on maintaining a human form. The only problem that left him was the awkward height difference between him and Adrien, even with the latter's spontaneous physical development. As such, Disquietude silently took a seat on the floor, his shadowy form melding into the darkness like he was sitting up beneath a blanket. It never even occurred to him that he was still holding Adrien's hand.

"Careful Dis. You're going to drag Adrien in as well, and Floating Kitty thing- save some of that for me," she offered to her guests. "Can I make anything up or get any thing for anyone? Tea, coffee, soda, some sort of food?"
Beth was half curious as to why neither of the group pressed for more questions.

Thinking a moment, Adrien gently pulls his hand away from Disquietude's to gesture with it. "Do you have any croissants? Or maybe some green tea?"
The cat fairy floats over and pokes Beth in the cheek with a piece of cheddar. "Hey, so, what is it that you do? Or used to do?" He flies around her for a moment before stopping in front of her, tilting his head to one side. "...were you this small when you were young? Because you're shorter than he is. Was."

Disquietude blinked, not quite sure what Beth was insinuating. It was impossible to merge light-dwellers with the darkness. How would he drag Adrien...?
"Oh!" As soon as Adrien removed his hand from Disquietude's, the humiliated demon tucked the appendage away as if he was trying to hide something embarrassing. "Sorry..."
He then looked back up at Beth and tilted his head. "'Food'? Is... Is that the... organic matter that... I'm to understand you humans ingest for nutrients?"

"Yes to the croissants. I have green tea packets but it might take a bit to make," Beth answered Adrien as she went to get the flakey crescents. "Actually I'm maybe 7 or 8 inches shorter than the height I started out today with. I stopped growing at 17, floating fuzzy. As for what I do, well I am a special effects makeup artist. And a rather well known one where I'm from."
Beth took a breath before nodding to Dis. "Now can I ask a pair of questions to the three of you?" She asked as she set the plate on the table.

"I don't see why not." The blonde man shrugs, catching an apple tossed his way and offering it to Disquietude.
Plagg sits down on the girl's shoulder, shaking his head. "I meant as a deity, but that works, too... maybe. I don't know."

"Umm... Okay?" Disquietude hesitantly replied, fearful of what the young goddess might want out of him, not to mention the consequences of potentially letting slip too much informa- ooh, what's this?
"Oh, uh... Thank you." He accepted the apple with a fair amount of uncertainty, then he studied the fruit in his hand for a good ten seconds before lifting it to his mouth and proceeding to slowly lick it with his black, proboscis-like tongue.

"What brought you all to the island?" She looked to the floating cat fairy on her shoulder. "What do I call you?"
She breathed. "I'll answer that part after this, Floating Floof," she offered as she went to go make tea.

Adrien considers this for a moment, taking a couple bites of his pastry. "I guess... a wrong door, for me."
"I was stuck in the ring, so I wouldn't know." The fairy shrugs, then eats a wedge of cheese whole. "I'm Plagg, by the way."

Disquietude paused for a moment, worriedly mulling over the question and pondering how best to respond without eliciting a hostile reaction, his mouth hanging open and his tongue coiled around his apple all the while. Eventually he sucked the oversized appendage back into his mouth and blankly stated, "I'm just here because my people have been scouting the island for new territory." Then he sunk his razor-sharp teeth into the apple, decimating half of it in one bite.
