Beth had a smile on her face as music played over head in her shop. "Hey Plagg. How you holding up?" She asked to her new companion as she started to put up her displays once more.

"Weird," the cat fairy says, shrugging a bit. "You know you're my first female partner?" He floats over and starts poking at random items on the shelves Beth had just finished.

The front door's bell jingled, a man walking in with a smile on his face. "I had a feeling I knew which store was hers," he smiled, looking around. This mountain of a man was the type that looked happy to see most anyone. None were too sure why that was, but the large, tubby man seemed to love all the friends and attention.
"Is anyone in right now?"

"Really?" Beth offered to the cat face before hearing a familiar voice.
"RYAN!" She offered in an energetic squeal before vaulting over the front desk. The currently teenaged female glomped the older and larger male. "You should have told me you were coming~"

"...she probably won't hear me with her... boyfriend? Husband? Who knows." He floats back to the front desk and eats from the pile of cheese he placed there earlier. "Let me guess. I'll have to be hidden somewhere so this guy doesn't figure stuff out or freak out."

He stepped back a bit in surprise when the teenager glomped him, but he didn't seem too alarmed. "Beth?" he chuckled. "Wow you got tiny! I told you those fad diets were bad news!"
Then his attention turned to the new presence in the room.

"It's not a diet result. My age and powers got swapped with someone else and I got a new buddy out of it," she offered. "Plagg come meet my fiancee."
She blinked. "Wow that sounds weird coming from me now..."

He pokes his head out from behind the edge of the counter, arms full of cheese wedges and a hunk of cheddar in his mouth. "Fiwancee?" The kwami slowly floats over, not wanting to drop any of his bounty in haste.

The large man leaned over. "Huh, you're pretty neat looking," he chuckled. "I guess this means you have the powers of one of those Miraculous people?"

Beth mentally face palmed. Leave it to Ryan to be blunt for once.
"Yes. Plagg this is the guy that Adrien saw on the deep red bond," she offered. "And his keeper may have my abilities."

Plagg swallows his mouthful, then slowly nods. "Okay... but how does he know about the Miraculous? Is he a wielder?" He bites into another piece of cheese. "Pwobabwy bee. Maybe peacawk."

Ryan looked up, apparently trying to think. "Hmmmm... no, I don't think I use any of you guys back home... OH."
He looked away. "...Um, I think the method in which I know what you are... might blow your mind a bit..."

"He'd be more of a bear or boar to be honest," Beth answered with a sigh. "And he's not wrong. Oddly enough Yang, Nora, and Ren all took that news rather well from what I've heard. Not sure on Ruby, Blake, or Weiss's reactions."

Plagg just scoffs quietly, swallowing his food. "Let me guess. I'm in some kind of parallel world, where I'm supposed to be fictional." He jerks his head towards the man, causing a wedge of brie to fall on Beth's shoulder. "It'd explain how he knows about the Miraculous."

The man blinked. "...You're... not wrong, actually. A pretty successful TV show is what you got." He then started stretching, walking to a chair before trying to ease into it.
"Ugh, I forgot how much work walking is."
